Urban Super Soldier King-Chapter 854: The Man in the Duckbill Cap
Chapter 854: Chapter 854: The Man in the Duckbill Cap
Xiang Yu knew that since the other party belonged to the Falcon Organization, they naturally wouldn’t follow Wang Hongbin’s arrangements.
Perhaps in the other party’s eyes, Wang Hongbin was nothing more than a pawn.
The person’s name was Ren Baohe, but it was definitely an alias. If you were to look for the person based solely on the name, it would be futile. freewebnoveℓ.com
In front of Wang Hongbin, the person was called Ren Baohe, but in front of someone else, he might go by names like "Dog Egg" or "Cat Egg."
Now that Wang Li said he had seen the man, it meant that he was present on-site.
"Where is he?" Xiang Yu grabbed Wang Li and brought him to the window, where it was possible to clearly see everything outside.
Wang Li looked around for a long time but couldn’t spot him.
"You little punk, are you lying? If you dare lie, I’ll twist your head off right now!" Tie Zhuzi glared wide-eyed and roared.
He hated liars the most, especially when they dared lie to Xiang Yu—that was simply unforgivable.
Although they often lied to others, they couldn’t stand others lying to them.
Wang Li was so scared he shuddered all over. When he didn’t know the identities of the three, he had thought they were just putting on airs. Now that he knew who they were, he felt whatever Xiang Yu and the others did was right.
"I’m not lying. I really saw him just now," Wang Li said fearfully.
In truth, he wasn’t sure. Just now, he had spotted a man wearing a baseball cap in the crowd and instinctively thought it was Ren Baohe, but he hadn’t taken a clear look.
The situation had been urgent earlier, so he simply blurted out his assumption.
"Is it that one?" Xiang Yu stood there and then pointed at a young man sitting in the center.
The man was dressed in casual clothes and wearing a baseball cap. He sat there with his head lowered, seemingly deep in thought.
Wang Li followed Xiang Yu’s finger and looked over. When he saw the man, he was so excited he almost jumped up. Thankfully, he had found him; otherwise, he would really seem guilty of lying.
"That’s him. He’s Ren Baohe. He’s the one who gave us the explosives!" Wang Li said excitedly.
When Xiang Yu stood there and looked toward the man, the man seemed to notice and glanced toward their direction as well.
In reality, the angle from Xiang Yu’s room made it impossible for anyone outside to see in. The man must have instinctively looked in that direction.
Now that the target was identified, Xiang Yu didn’t hesitate and strode outside. Tie Zhuzi and Xiao Xuan, worried about Xiang Yu’s safety, quickly followed him out.
Wang Li stood alone in the room, frozen and unsure what to do next. If they simply left like this, he would feel unwilling to let the opportunity slide.
He had finally made a connection with Xiang Yu and didn’t want to waste the chance. After all, he amounted to nothing under Wang Hongbin. If he went back, he would only be mocked.
Xiang Yu headed outside, walking quickly toward the center. However, due to the sheer number of people around, he couldn’t see what was happening ahead.
"Why are you shoving? Haven’t you seen a pretty girl here?"
"Damn it, you stepped on my foot!"
"Hey, who just grabbed my ass? You’ve got the wrong gender—I’m a man!"
The surroundings were noisy with chatter like this. Xiang Yu ignored it all and fought his way inward.
If he missed this chance to seize the target, who knew when he’d get another opportunity?
As Xiang Yu pushed his way forward with determination, he was almost at the central area when suddenly, the crowd erupted into a frenzy of screams.
People stood up from their seats, some even crying outright.
"What the hell, just a bunch of lunatics," Tie Zhuzi grumbled irritably.
It was because, at that moment, Su Yongzhen appeared, driving his racing car into the arena. When Su Yongzhen removed his helmet and looked at the crowd, the surrounding boys and girls screamed ecstatically.
To them, Su Yongzhen was the ultimate heartthrob.
Not only was he handsome, skilled at racing, and wealthy, but most importantly, he was still single.
"Su Yongzhen, I love you!"
"I want to have your babies!"
The scene grew chaotic and unruly as those unable to get close to Su Yongzhen began frantically pushing toward the center.
Originally charging toward the center, Xiang Yu was pushed out of position, losing his footing.
Tie Zhuzi followed behind Xiang Yu, watching the crowd disdainfully. He muttered sarcastically, "Just because he’s got a pretty face like a woman, they all go crazy over him?"
When Tie Zhuzi saw Xiang Yu being pushed back, he said, "Brother Yu, let me handle this."
After saying that, he bellowed loudly and began shoving his way forward. Tie Zhuzi, with his towering stature and robust physique, bulldozed his way through the crowd, genuinely managing to squeeze into the center.
Xiang Yu followed behind Tie Zhuzi, barely managing to get to the central area. By then, the man in the baseball cap was nowhere to be seen.
Xiang Yu sat down and scanned the area. Suddenly, in the distance near the doorway, he spotted someone looking directly at him and smiling.
It was Ren Baohe.
The two locked eyes across the sea of thousands, Ren Baohe’s expression breaking into an unhurried smile before he turned and walked away.
Xiang Yu knew there was no way to catch up now. He glanced at the seat where Ren Baohe had been sitting earlier and spotted a piece of paper under the chair.
Xiang Yu reluctantly squeezed over to grab it. On the paper were a few lines of bold writing followed by a string of numbers.
The note read: "If you found this note, it means your observation skills are passable. If you want to find me..." followed by a long sequence of numbers.
Xiang Yu knew the note had been left by Ren Baohe. He stuffed it into his pocket and started heading back outside.
It was now nine in the morning, and four cars had just set off. Two belonged to Wang Hongbin’s team and two to Su Yongzhen’s team.
The crowd erupted into a frenzy of screams again, shouting Su Yongzhen’s name, some crying hysterically.
Indeed, teenage girls’ obsessions were baffling and impossible for ordinary people to understand.
As Xiang Yu prepared to return to the office upstairs, he suddenly caught sight of a familiar figure.
The person was wearing a yellow coat and tight-fitting jeans, which contoured her captivating figure.
It was Fang Rong. Fang Rong didn’t notice Xiang Yu; she stood with her hands clasped together as if in prayer.
"Why are you here?" Xiang Yu walked over, smiling warmly at her.
Tie Zhuzi and Xiao Xuan, seeing Xiang Yu starting to flirt, left him alone and went their own way.
Realizing someone was talking to her, Fang Rong was momentarily taken aback. She looked at Xiang Yu, momentarily unable to react.
Eventually, she became so overjoyed she nearly jumped up, saying, "Xiang Yu? Is it really you? Are you truly Xiang Yu?"
Seeing the once-little girl now so much more mature, her face had lost some of its childishness and gained an irresistible charm.
"Why are you here? Are you also a fan of Su Yongzhen?" Fang Rong asked, her face full of curiosity and expectation.
Xiang Yu awkwardly smiled and replied, "Yeah, I’m a fan too."
"Su Yongzhen is so incredibly handsome! Let me tell you, I’ve attended every one of his races without missing a single one," Fang Rong said excitedly.
Seeing the chaos around them, Xiang Yu said, "Come on, I’ll take you somewhere with a better view."
Fang Rong hesitated, saying, "But this is the best spot already. I was the first to rush in here..."
