When Lin Kuang arrived at Yang Ruoxi's home, she was already dressed in her Kung Fu attire and waiting on the living room sofa. Her sister, Yang Ruotong, was busy in the kitchen. It seemed Xinxin wasn't awake yet, as Lin Kuang didn't see the little girl anywhere in the living room.

"Good morning, Ruoxi, Ruotong," Lin Kuang greeted with a smile as he walked in.

From the kitchen, Yang Ruotong shot him a displeased glance, but Yang Ruoxi simply smiled and nodded.

"What? All ready to go?" Lin Kuang asked with a laugh, looking at Yang Ruoxi in her training clothes.

"Of course," Yang Ruoxi nodded. "I've gotten much stronger these past couple of days," she added proudly.

"Oh, really? Then let me see just how strong you've become," Lin Kuang said with a grin.

"Fine! Bring it on!" Yang Ruoxi retorted, already striding toward the door.

Lin Kuang just laughed and shrugged. As he followed her out, he shot a quick wink at Yang Ruotong, causing her cheeks to blush.

Half an hour later, the spar was over. Yang Ruoxi stalked back into the living room with a sullen expression. She had lost yet again—without winning a single round—and she was clearly annoyed. Lin Kuang, on the other hand, was all smiles. Even though she had lost, he could tell her strength had grown immensely. At this rate, even Chen Shaowen would likely be no match for her. This girl is incredibly talented.

Lin Kuang had a quick breakfast with them before leaving and heading back to Liu Shilin's house.

There, Liu Shilin had already prepared breakfast and was waiting for him. Her face lit up the moment he walked in. "Lin Kuang, you're back! Come on, breakfast is ready," she greeted him with a warm smile.

Lin Kuang grinned and nodded as he sat down at the dining table. "Mmm, as expected of my wife, Shilin. Your cooking is the best; it smells incredible."

Hearing his praise, Liu Shilin couldn't help but blush, her heart swelling with joy. After all, hearing the man she liked compliment her felt absolutely wonderful. 𝚏𝕣𝕖𝚎𝚠𝚎𝚋𝚗𝐨𝐯𝕖𝕝.𝕔𝐨𝕞

The two ate breakfast together. Afterward, Liu Shilin went upstairs to change while Lin Kuang cleared the table and washed the dishes. Their division of labor was quite clear.

Just as Lin Kuang finished, Liu Shilin came downstairs, now dressed in professional attire. Seeing her elegant figure exuding a captivating charm, he felt a surge of heat rise within him. At that moment, she was utterly irresistible, and he found it difficult to control himself.

"Shilin, my love, you get more beautiful every day," Lin Kuang said, his eyes burning with desire. "Looking at you, I can barely hold myself back."

Hearing his words, Liu Shilin's face turned beet red, but inwardly, she felt a thrill of pride. It was a wonderful feeling.

"Don't be so impatient," Liu Shilin said, her face still flushed. "Just two more days. In two days, I'll be all yours."

Saturday was just two days away—her birthday. On that day, she planned to give herself completely to him.

Lin Kuang couldn't help but nod. "You're right. I'll wait, then. Just two more days," he said with a smile, his gaze drinking in her fiery allure.

"Well, aren't you going to get changed for work?" Liu Shilin retorted, blushing, in mock annoyance.

"Yes, ma'am! As you command, my dear wife!" Lin Kuang snapped to attention and gave a playful salute before hurrying off to change.

Watching his comical antics, Liu Shilin couldn't help but giggle, her mood brightening considerably. A few moments later, Lin Kuang emerged from his room, dressed and ready.

"Let's go to the office, my beautiful wife," Lin Kuang said with a smile.

"Let's go, my handsome man," Liu Shilin replied, her face flushing. It was the first time she had ever called him that so directly. Her heart hammered against her ribs, and a wave of shyness washed over her.

Lin Kuang blinked in surprise for a moment, then broke into a grin. "As you command, my beautiful wife."

With that, they both got into the car, and Lin Kuang sped the Mercedes toward the Yashi Company headquarters.

When they arrived, they went upstairs, greeting the employees they passed on their way to Liu Shilin's office. Liu Shilin immediately got busy with company matters, while Lin Kuang settled onto the sofa, bored. There was nothing for him to do there.

Around ten o'clock that morning, Lin Kuang's phone rang. He pulled it out and frowned at the unfamiliar number on the screen, but answered it anyway.

"Hello, who's this?" Lin Kuang asked coolly.

"Lin Kuang, it's Yang Wucheng," the voice on the other end said, his tone heavy.

Lin Kuang stiffened. From the sound of Yang Wucheng's voice, something was wrong. His mind instantly flashed to Okamoto Daiki and the syringe filled with blue liquid.

"Uncle Yang, what happened?" Lin Kuang shot up from the sofa, his voice turning serious.

"Okamoto Daiki is dead," Yang Wucheng said grimly. "He didn't say a single word. That man's lips were sealed tight.

"Furthermore, we've analyzed the blue liquid from that syringe, and we've learned it's no ordinary substance. It's something far more advanced than a simple stimulant. That liquid can cause a person's genes to go into overdrive, granting them immense strength for a short period.

"Our preliminary analysis suggests this is the gene technology the Island Country has been secretly researching. What you found is likely a Gene Potion!"

The Island Country had been researching this in secret, but no one had expected them to have actually succeeded. If word of this got out, spies from countless nations would undoubtedly try to steal the technology.

Lin Kuang's expression grew grim. He had heard of things like a Gene Potion before, but he never imagined the Island Country would have actually created one.

"Uncle Yang, can they mass-produce it?" Lin Kuang asked, the gravity of the situation sinking in.

Yang Wucheng gave a bitter laugh and shook his head. "I don't know for sure. However, according to the researchers at the institute, a substance like this is extremely difficult to mass-produce. I suspect the Island Country has only just recently succeeded in developing it and hasn't yet reached the point where they can produce it on a large scale."

Lin Kuang nodded, breathing a small, internal sigh of relief. If the Island Country could really mass-produce something like this, the consequences would be catastrophic.
