Universe’s Ultimate BOSS-Chapter 112: Illusionary Battlefield
Translator: Henyee Translations Editor: Henyee Translations
After Wang Hao returned to his room in his villa, he entered the Illusionary Battlefield in the System, hoping to increase his battle experience.
〈〈Ding-dong. The host has entered the Illusionary Battlefield. You may choose opponents of different levels here.〉〉
In the next second, Wang Hao found himself in the cosmos. Before his eyes was an enormous curtain of light, and below his feet was nothingness.
“What an amazing place!” Wang Hao jumped, only to find that he wouldn’t fall.
Wang Hao found three columns on the curtain of light, namely Level, Class, and Difficulty.
“It seems rather detailed…” Wang Hao smiled and inputted level-three Martial Master, Swordsman, and Highest Difficulty into the columns.
〈〈Ding-dong. The host has activated the Illusionary Battlefield with 10,000 Villain Points.〉〉
“Ten thousand? Isn’t it too expensive?” Wang Hao was rather regretful.
“Hooooo!”
A deafening roar burst out, raising ripples in the void. Then, a person emerged.
In the meantime, the space was filled with a freezing aura that came at Wang Hao like an overwhelming flood.
Wang Hao turned solemn as the vibe was so powerful. Though their levels were the same, their vibes were certainly not.
“I am Sha. I’m your sparring partner in the Illusionary Battlefield. I’ll be training you from today on. Are you ready?”
Sha’s eyes were sharper than ever after he introduced himself, making him look like an unsheathed sword. He also raised the gigantic sword in his hand.
Sensing something, Wang Hao stomped and flew back like a bird.
Hu!
The giant sword tore through the air with an earsplitting noise.
Wang Hao’s pupils constricted. He dodged even faster and wandered in the wind like dust.
Squinting, Sha roared, “Sky Slash!”
Bam!
After a dull collision, Wang Hao was flung back like a kite whose string was cut. Sword wounds sprawled on his body like a spider web.
Red blood squirted like springs, and Wang Hao tilted his head, his eyes frozen.
“Seriously? Why do you know Sky Slash?”
The body disappeared, and Wang Hao respawned. He looked at Sha in disbelief.
“I know everything you know, and I’m better at it than you are,” said Sha coldly.
“Better than me? Are you bragging?” Wang Hao sniffed and charged at Sha with his giant sword.
“Garbage, why didn’t you dodge my attack?”
“Come again!’
“Rubbish, why didn’t you press the assault?”
“Come again!’
“Dirty tricks are useless against me.”
“Come again!’
“Idiot, where are you hitting?”
“I quit! You’re too strong!”
“You cannot leave the Illusionary Battlefield until after a hundred games.”
“Shoot! This is a trap… Ahhhhhhhhhh!”
“…”
The next day, all the students in Eleven City marched to the spaceship ports outside of the city.
Wang Hao’s lips twitched when Yun Chuyao took Xia Weiwei and Le Xuan to the Dark Dragon, because they carried ten boxes with them. Were they going to kill zombies, or were they going to travel?
“What are you carrying?” Wang Hao couldn’t help but ask.
“A million bullets with level-three damage, and 100,000 armor-piercing bullets with level-three damage,” replied Yun Chuyao softly.
“Wow, Sister Yun, you really are generous!” Wang Hao clicked his tongue. Apart from the level-three Pulse Energy Cannon, the million bullets cost at least 500,000 contribution points, and the armor-piercing bullets were even more expensive.
“I’m always generous when it comes to my precious daughter.” Yun Chuyao touched Le Xuan’s head gently.
“Mom!” Le Xuan hugged Yun Chuyao.
Wang Hao leaned close to them. “Sister Yun, if you are so generous with your daughter, I’m sure you’ll also be generous with your son-in-law, right?”
Le Xuan’s face immediately turned cold. She glared at Wang Hao as he teased her.
“You’re not like your father at all.” Yun Chuyao sighed, unable to figure out why such a righteous man like Wang Tianyi would have such a foxy and sleazy son.
“Boss, I’m back!” Qian Wanyang trotted to Wang Hao and said, “I’ve figured out that Tianming is a level-two planet with a thriving economy and a population of twenty-three billion.”
“A planet with twenty-three billion people?” Everybody gasped. DY was indeed the most infamous terrorist organization. Killing 23 billion people at once was too crazy!
“It’s nothing to be surprised at,” Yun Chuyao said softly. “According to statistics, DY destroys more than five planets every year.”
“Five planets!”
Everybody felt cold. They never had a real-life understanding about terrorist organizations until now.
“You’ll encounter people of the Military Department, the Guild of Adventurers, and the Guild of Pharmacists, as well as the students of other branches and colleges,” Yun Chuyao said solemnly. “You may meet the terrorists of DY, too, so be extra careful.”
“Why are they going there?” asked Xia Weiwei.
“For money,” Qian Wanyang said solemnly. “Twenty-three billion people have turned into zombies, but their possessions are still there. Whoever claims them will own them.”
“Doesn’t that mean we’ll make a fortune?” Xia Weiwei’s eyes glittered greedily.
“It won’t be so easy.” Le Xuan knocked Xia Weiwei’s head. “Don’t forget that it’s twenty-three billion zombies on the planet, not twenty-three billion ants.”
“The Guild of Adventurers is going for money, but the Military Department is there for order maintenance and the new humans on the planet.” Yun Chuyao explained, “The new humans have special mental power and can establish alternate dimensions. If their mental power is strong, they’ll be perfect mecha warriors.”
The reason was simple. The shortcoming of the mecha warriors was their lack of combat ability when they did not have their mecha, but mecha was too clumsy to be carried all the time.
With an alternate dimension, it would be possible to carry mecha all the time, which would make those people the best mecha warriors.
“Why is the Guild of Pharmacists there?” asked Wang Hao curiously.
“To sell antibodies,” Yun Chuyao said enviously. “The zombie virus is transmitted through air. It’s all over the planet right now. To hunt for treasures, you’ll have to take the antibodies, or you will be poisoned.”
Everybody else was jealous, too. The Guild of Pharmacists deserved to be the wealthiest force in the Universal Federation. Their way of making money was incomparable!
