Undead Mage: I Have a Skeleton Clone-Chapter 440 - 325: [Harvest Festival] Charging Up, Black Iron Breaking Limit!
"Hurry! Even if he has Skeletons, with so many of us, he won’t last long." Mo Zishu’s face was grim, his voice filled with anxiety.
He realized that with the Skeletons as cover, Fang Zhou’s counterattacks had become even more reckless.
While dodging attacks, Fang Zhou still needed to be cautious. But under the Skeletons’ cover, aside from Magic coming from the sky, direct attacks were essentially unable to hit him.
Meanwhile, Fang Zhou could unleash his own attacks without restraint.
His offense was terrifying. For fragile Professions, a direct hit from a Skeleton Flying Spear combined with the area-of-effect damage from Death Ripple was a death sentence; those two Skills alone were enough to kill them.
Even for Warrior Class Professionals in Heavy Armor, it only took an average of three Skeleton Flying Spears to kill one.
With Fang Zhou’s continuous assault, the defensive line formed by the Skeletons around him grew more solid.
However, the participating contestants had already been driven into a frenzy.
This battle was no longer just about a Portable Concentration Meditation Array; it had evolved into a contest of dignity.
They knew Fang Zhou was receiving special attention and was the focus of everyone watching the main screen. If they backed down now, they would be unable to face themselves or anyone else.
Therefore, even in such unfavorable circumstances, they clenched their teeth and persisted, vowing to take Fang Zhou down.
Suddenly, Fang Zhou’s gaze fell upon a cloaked contestant. That person looked somewhat familiar. Fang Zhou quickly stopped casting, a hint of doubt arising in his mind.
"Fang Zhou, it’s us!" Bai Xiaochan ripped off her hood, revealing her face. At the same time, she unleashed a Shocking Sound Wave, sending a contestant blocking their path stumbling.
"What the hell are you doing?" the contestant demanded, turning around in anger.
"Killing you," Meng Hongzhuang said as she unleashed a Thorny Vine, instantly immobilizing the contestant.
"Die." Ye Fan’s arrow and Gu Zhiqiu’s Wind Energy Missile followed close behind.
Already staggered by the Shocking Sound Wave, the contestant couldn’t withstand their combined assault and collapsed to the ground. 𝕗𝗿𝕖𝐞𝐰𝗲𝕓𝐧𝕠𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝐨𝚖
"Everyone be careful! Fang Zhou has reinforcements!" a nearby contestant shouted. However, upon seeing the terrifying composition of this new team, he wisely cleared a path.
The group from Sea City Military Academy had officially joined forces with Fang Zhou.
As more and more contestants flooded the courtyard, the battle intensified into a deadlock.
By now, a considerable number of Skeletons had gathered around Fang Zhou, and his points had surged thanks to his continuous kills in such a short period.
The courtyard was a scene of utter Chaos.
Although Fang Zhou could temporarily hold his position, he could no longer pay any mind to the breach. Contestants poured in ceaselessly, joining the melee in the courtyard.
Even the Giant Shield Skeletons beside Fang Zhou fell one by one under the relentless assault; the attacks were simply too dense.
If Fang Zhou hadn’t been constantly laying down suppressive fire with his Skeleton Flying Spears and Death Ripple, all while continuously summoning new Skeletons to replenish his ranks, he would have been overwhelmed by the sea of people long ago.
However, the fragile Skeleton Archers were almost impossible to keep alive. The scene was too chaotic. The moment they were summoned, they were immediately bombarded with all sorts of attacks, giving them practically no chance of survival.
The one-man army of an Undead Mage truly hasn’t taken shape yet. It seems I still have a long way to go. Fang Zhou sighed to himself as he attacked.
In my mind, the debut of an Undead Mage should be accompanied by an overwhelming Undead Magic storm that crushes the enemy, leaving them unable to even lift their heads. He should be surrounded by a legion of Skeleton Warriors and Skeleton Archers, forming a combat cluster capable of standing and fighting in any environment. And yet, the current reality is that I’m mainly relying on the Skeleton Series Skills I deduced myself just to hold my ground in this free-for-all.
But I don’t need to think that far ahead right now. I have many advantages that can compensate for my weaknesses, which gives me time to fix these flaws.
Shaking off his distracting thoughts, Fang Zhou quickly adjusted his mindset and focused on the battle at hand.
Bai Xiaochan and the others reached his side and quickly formed up.
"Most of you are ranged attackers," Fang Zhou instructed. "Use these Skeletons as cover and try not to expose yourselves. Especially you Support Professionals—stay even further back and provide healing as the situation requires."
In truth, under these circumstances, with the Skeletons for cover and the defense from his Skeleton Shield, Fang Zhou was basically unharmed. However, Bai Xiaochan and her team certainly couldn’t say the same. Having a super healer was still crucial.
"Underestimating me, huh? Acting like I’m a burden if I don’t show you what I can do," Bai Xiaochan huffed.
She picked up her Apprentice-level accordion, and as she began to play, a beautiful melody enveloped the group.
Fang Zhou checked his status and immediately noticed a considerable increase in his Attributes.
Each different melody brought a different buff.
The others silently reapplied their buffs as well. Fang Zhou’s Attack Power became explosive, and his Defense was greatly enhanced.
This was the benefit of a team; it could elevate Fang Zhou’s combat power to a whole new level.
"Not bad. I didn’t expect you all to coordinate so well so quickly," Fang Zhou praised, his mood lightening considerably.
He continued to command his Skeletons, using them as cover while constantly suppressing the enemy with Skeleton Flying Spears and Death Ripple.
