Tyrannical Tycoon Haunts Me Relentlessly-Chapter 958: Listened All Night
Today, the fact that Xia Yinian got injured is something Ye Shushu is well aware of.
Knowing they went to the hospital after leaving the competition venue, she immediately rushed over.
After resting for a few days, Ye Shushu’s body was much better, though for the past two days, whenever she went out, she had to be dressed meticulously.
It’s definitely a good thing if no one can recognize her.
In the evening at the hospital, the VIP elevator wasn’t being used by many people, and a girl wearing denim pants, a white short-sleeve T-shirt, a baseball cap, and sunglasses walked in.
Just as the elevator doors were closing, a large hand reached in, stopping the elevator from closing.
On instinct, Ye Shushu didn’t want to accidentally hurt anyone, so she immediately pressed the button to open the doors.
She raised her gaze and took a glance at the man who entered, then took a deep breath and immediately lowered her head.
Unexpectedly, after a few days of not seeing each other, the two met again, at the hospital no less.
Ye Shushu pulled down the brim of her hat, lowering her head even further.
To be honest, she really resented this man, for forcefully taking her first time and even accusing her of drugging him.
Had it not been for his good looks and wealthy family, she would’ve already found someone to deal with him.
She wasn’t living poorly by any means; when had she ever been bullied like this? He truly was too much of a bully.
Absolutely outrageous! Hateful! Evil!
Thinking of her grievances, Ye Shushu almost cursed out loud.
Staring at Gu Feimo’s back and smelling his unique scent, Ye Shushu felt a sudden urge to move forward and hit him.
She continuously took deep breaths, hoping she could let him off the hook.
With two clicking sounds, the elevator shook up and down and suddenly stopped.
Ye Shushu furrowed her brows, gripping the handrail beside her tightly.
At this moment, could it be that the elevator was going to oppose her too?
Before her emotions could settle down, a flash of light passed before her, and immediately the lights in the elevator went out.
The lights really went completely out; she was enveloped in pitch-black darkness.
"Ah!" Ye Shushu exclaimed, quickly reaching up to cover her mouth.
Gradually adjusting to the brightness inside, she could still make out the man’s silhouette.
Not wanting him to know her identity, Ye Shushu worked hard to calm herself down.
With him there, being stuck in the elevator shouldn’t be too much of a problem, right?
While still grumbling in her heart, Ye Shushu didn’t understand why she felt so confident in him.
She adjusted her breathing and stared at the person in front of her without blinking.
She wondered if her earlier cry had already exposed her identity, but there wasn’t much she could do about it now.
Ye Shushu pursed her lips, remaining silent and still.
Gu Feimo reached into his pants pocket and took out his phone, turning it on, only for it to go off again.
"Did you bring your phone? Mine’s out of battery." Suddenly, he turned to look at her.
Ye Shushu furrowed her brows, bowing her head lower.
"I... don’t think I recognize you." She pinched her nose, trying her best to change her voice.
"I’ve listened to your voice the entire night, there’s no mistake," Gu Feimo replied calmly.
"You..." Ye Shushu raised her head and glared at him, "No phone, nothing at all."
"Forget it, even if we did have one, there might not be any signal," Gu Feimo said as he turned around, pressing a few buttons on the elevator.
He didn’t expect that even the power for the buttons was out.
In complete darkness, Ye Shushu searched through her bag for her phone and took it out.
She swiped open the phone and Yue Mei immediately frowned slightly, "There’s really no signal, so what do we do now?"
