Two-Faced Husband, Have Some Decency!-Chapter 503: Kaimu Cycling Club
“Dad,” Wei Muran begged with a flushed face before continuing, “I’m not in a rush to get married—I want to stay here longer with you guys too, but… but I just don’t want you to be against up being together. You… you just have to be nicer to him. Please don’t be so fierce toward him…”
Qi Youxuan took the chance to act out the manner of a little daughter-in-law, making Wei Ziqi’s blood boil.
“Humph!” grunted Wei Ziqi, “Next time, besides to do overtime, you must be home before 10. You can’t let that little brat take advantage of you, you hear me?”
“Dad, you don’t oppose us being together anymore?” Wei Muran asked astoundedly.
Wei Ziqi was awfully unwilling to answer a question which would mean handing her daughter out to another man—especially when he had to do it face-to-face. Hence, he did not answer her but instead glared menacingly at Qi Youxuan.
“How dare you kiss my daughter in front of our house! You’re getting gutsier!”
Qi Youxuan did not dare to let out another grumble. If he were to enrage Wei Ziqi any more, he might ban him from seeing his daughter forever.
Wei Muran too, who understood her father’s personality well, did not utter a word.
“Humph! Go home!” Wei Ziqi ordered fumingly. He grabbed Wei Muran’s hand and dragged her into the courtyard.
The metal door slammed shut right in front of Qi Youxuan’s face.
Wen Xu shook his head expressionlessly. He felt empathetic toward the pitiful Qi Youxuan. Just as he was going to drive off, Qi Youning stopped him again.
“My brother doesn’t give up so easily. Watch what he’s going to do,” explained Qi Youning.
Thus, Wen Xu sat quietly and observed Qi Youxuan from afar. Qi Youxuan stood there staring at the Wei family’s mansion for an eternity. Suddenly he went to the trunk of his car, popped it open and produced a foldable ladder from it. He plodded to the Wei family mansion’s backyard while lugging the foldable ladder.
Wen Xu’s vision was sharp like a hawk’s—from a distance away, he could spot a figure clambering up the wall in the mansion’s backyard.
“…” Qi Youning and Wen Xu were both rendered speechless.
At that moment, Wen Xu felt that Qi Youxuan had just opened up the window to a whole new world for him.
If Qi Chenglin did the same as Wei Ziqi, he might follow in Qi Youxuan’s footsteps and do the same too.
“Alright, let’s go,” Qi Youning said.
Wen Xu nodded and finally drove off. However, in his heart, he had secretly made the resolution to talk to Qi Youxuan more from then on.
…
After entering the house, Wei Muran coaxed Wei Ziqi and made him happy. After that, Wei Ziqi quickly made her return to her bedroom and rest as she had a long day.
Wei Muran entered the bedroom, took a kimono, and was heading to the bathroom. Just then, she heard a series of loud bangs on her window.
She turned to the window and was flabbergasted to see Qi Youxuan pressed against her window with one hand holding on to the glass and another one knocking.
Wei Muran opened the window hastily. “Are you crazy?!”
Only after Qi Youxuan crossed over the window frame and entered the room did Wei Muran realize that he climbed up using a ladder.
Where did he get the ladder from?
“I’ve always had it in my car trunk—just in case,” Qi Youxuan explained.
“…” Wei Muran was at a loss for words.
Just in case? In case of what? This?
“We’re still going to see each other tomorrow—why do you have to climb up here?” questioned Wei Muran with a flushed face. She harbored mixed feelings about his absurd action.
“I didn’t get to give you a proper goodbye just now,” whimpered Qi Youxuan as he stared at her with puppy-eyes. “We haven’t had a proper conversation before you were dragged in.”
“…” Wei Muran suddenly felt like her room had shrunk. She felt terribly uncomfortable when alone with him in this tiny space.
“Well, now that you’ve seen me, you can leave. Please don’t do this again. It’s so dangerous,” muttered Wei Muran.
Even so, Qi Youxuan did not move a muscle. Instead, he whimpered coquettishly, “Mumu, come give me a hug.”
This man sure knew how to flirt!
Wei Muran could not resist at all. She mumbled, “Okay… but just a hug, okay?”
Having said that, Wei Muran abruptly came to the realization that she was becoming more and more shameless.
Hearing that, Qi Youxuan pounced straight onto her and wrapped her tight in his arms. Before Wei Muran could react, her feet were already off the ground.
Wei Muran’s heart pounded and her face reddened. She felt as though her room was flipped upside down and everything was spinning round and round. In an instant, she was pressed onto the bed with him pressing firmly on top of her.
“Qi Youxuan!” Wei Muran yelled, but not too loudly to avoid attracting Wei Ziqi’s attention. If Wei Ziqi were to see Qi Youxuan in her room, she had no doubt he would snap his legs in half.
“No… Don’t… Don’t mess around!” Wei Muran whimpered.
“I’m not doing anything. I just want to hold you like this,” replied Qi Youxuan as he buried his face in the hollow of her neck.
As he spoke, he breathed out puffs of hot air, making Wei Muran’s neck itch. She yearned to scratch it.
Qi Youxuan sighed softly. “I want to hold you in my arms like this every night. I want you to be the first thing I see every morning.”
Judging from Wei Ziqi’s attitude toward all this, there was no way he would allow them to live together. All they could do was get married quickly, yet Wei Ziqi had no intention of marrying his daughter off anytime soon.
Qi Youxuan’s heart was in anguish. Thus, he decided to seek Qi Chenglin’s aid.
With a face redder than a rose, Wei Muran whispered, “Even if you want to, you can’t stay here for the night.”
“…”
His Mumu just read him like an open book!
Qi Youxuan moved his face closer to her neck. He tucked her long hair away. Immediately after, his warm lips landed right on her neck, making her tremble.
Qi Youxuan held on to her tight. His lips slowly worked their way up her neck and onto her lips. He sucked hard on her lips.
Their breaths were unsteady. Both of them were at an age where they easily get aroused. Moreover, they were lying on a bed. Qi Youxuan was very close to losing control. He kissed her passionately, with no intention of stopping.
Qi Youxuan could not restrain himself. When he kissed her, it was as his brain stopped functioning.
Wei Muran noticed his change so she pushed him off hastily.
Qi Youxuan did not want to scare her, so he let go. His charming face was glowing red as he sighed heavily.
“I… I’m leaving now,” Qi Youxuan stammered.
Wei Muran stood up and tidied her clothes a little. She walked Qi Youxuan to the window. “Next time, don’t do such rash things again. Don’t come in like this again; it’s too dangerous.”
“But I miss you.” Qi Youxuan held Wei Muran’s hands and stared at her without uttering another word.
“I… I’ll try to convince my dad,” Wei Muran said.
“Mumu, I’ve waited for so long. I’ve been so patient because I want to make you my wife.” Qi Youxuan smiled softly. His eyes were filled with fondness toward Wei Muran. “I was overjoyed when you said you feel assured being married to me.”
“…” Wei Muran’s face flushed red. She was too embarrassed to continue the conversation. She nudged him gently. “Be careful on the way down.”
Qi Youxuan nodded. He opened the window and climbed down the ladder.
Only when he reached the ground safely could Wei Muran rest assured. The more she stared at him lugging the ladder away, the more she wondered what kind of odd situation she got herself into.
…
The next day, Qi Youxuan, Wei Muran, and Zhang Ming went to the cycling club.
The three of them stood in front of the club, staring at the signboard: Kaimu Cycling Club.
Zhang Ming compared the name on the sign with the name on the business card. “This is the place.”
They had already made a call to reception before going, thus, they merely had to show the receptionist their documents and was immediately led to the drawing room.
Just seconds after they sat down, the cycling club’s general manager came in.
They had done background research on the cycling club before—the club was established five years ago by the son of a rich entrepreneur. However, the reality was that the son only provided the capital needed to establish the club—he had no hand in managing the club. Instead, he employed someone to manage it for him—the general manager standing in front of them now.
“I apologize for the wait.” The general manager sat down and handed them his business card with both hands.
Zhang Ming took the card and examined it. On the card, it was written: Yu Zhijie, General Manager of Kaimu Cycling Club.
The night before, Yang Shaozhan did overtime to investigate the cycling club, but he could not find much. He merely found out that the owner was the son of a rich entrepreneur and was named Wei Guangzheng. As for Yu Zhijie, he was thirty-two years old, not married but had a stable girlfriend. He started working since the establishment of the club—he was only twenty-seven back then. From his conduct, it was clear that he has been a notable man from young.
“Are you the boss?” Zhang Ming inquired as if they did not know the answer.
“Our boss doesn’t come here often. He’s only responsible for distributing our salaries. The club is managed by me,” Yu Zhijie clarified.
“Oh? How did your boss come up with the idea to open a cycling club? If it’s just for fun, there are so many different paths he could have taken. What drew him to this? It’s such an unusual field,” Zhang Ming pointed out.
As the son of a rich entrepreneur who had virtually unlimited amounts of money, Zhang Ming understood his want to venture into multiple fields and make random investments everywhere just to fill time—regardless of whether his investments were making profit or loss. What mattered was the facade that he had many investments, making others think he was a highly successful man. Besides, small companies like this did not require much capital. Even if it made losses, it would not be anything he could not endure. Moreover, it was something he could do to ease his mind.
“Well, our boss is passionate about traveling the world on a bike. He has the time and money to do so, so he frequently travels with a group of men who are also sons of rich entrepreneurs. At first, he traveled with his friends to a nearby destination to get a feel of what it’s like. After that, our boss fell in love with the activity. Nonetheless, his friends could not accustom themselves to this mode of traveling. They were too used to their luxurious first-class seats and private jets. They could tolerate it that one time but were not willing to go through that suffering on a regular basis. Later on, he met a group of rich men from overseas and they would travel together but not often. Hence, he decided he might as well open his own club. When there are interesting events, he would sign himself up,” Yu Zhijie explained thoroughly, not hiding a single thing from them.
