The various departments were receiving patients in an orderly manner. Many had come because of its reputation. The shift change was complete, and the lights in several buildings were brightly lit, even though it was only early evening.

Before leaving work, Ian Shelby specifically went to see Ethan Dalton, exchanged a few words with the attending doctor, and then left.

As he exited the elevator, he immediately saw someone supporting Jocelyn Morgan in the lobby.

It seemed that Jocelyn’s right leg was injured, making walking awkward. Her right foot couldn’t touch the ground, and the pain made her frown slightly as she looked around.

"Cecilia, let’s go." Jocelyn waved at him, "Bye." Then, bravely enduring the pain, she pulled her friend forward.

With each step she took, the pain made her wince, but she acted like a warrior, not looking back.

Ian turned and glanced at the two girls leaving, exchanging a look with Cecilia as they walked towards the elevator.

Ian also headed towards an elevator in another direction.

At this moment, Vera Ford was already busy in Ian’s villa kitchen.
