Tribal Sign-In: Immortal At The Start-Chapter 225: Inform the King
Selena and Alger stared at Rion in vigilance.
Rion, on the other hand, was humming leisurely.
Stepping forward, Alger questioned, "What do you want from me?"
Rion smiled and said, "I simply want you to allow us to stay in your town until we have enough knowledge to continue our journey."
Alger, who had been dealing with the schemes of countless nobles, couldn’t even find such an ordinary reason to be true, so he asked again, "Stop these games and tell me what you really want."
Rion sighed. "Your guard is too high, Count Barely. What I previously said is indeed what I actually want."
Alger blinked a few times and mumbled, "That is all...?"
Rion nodded. "Yeah, that’s the most of it... We may need your help in some minor cases, though."
Hearing him, Alger pressed his lips into a thin line and thought, ’Is he really from the same place as the dark king?’
"Is there anything else you want to ask me?" Rion questioned with the most friendly look possible, and Alger shook his head in a confused daze.
"Then I should take my leave." Turning around, Rion left the office.
Just as Rion left, the heavy atmosphere within the room vanished, and Alger fell into his chair.
He took a few quick breaths, and Selena mumbled, "He is from the cursed mountains?"
Alger nodded and commented, "He is and it appears that they are finally ready to tell the world about themselves..."
A shiver ran down Selena’s spine, and she suggested, "We should inform the king!"
Shaking his head, Alger remarked, "No, we are not going to inform anyone..."
"What?! Are you out of your mind?! If any of them causes any trouble, you would be the one to pay for it!!" Selena shouted furiously.
"I know that already, you do not have to scream at me," Alger mumbled in a low voice.
Unable to understand why he was choosing to stay silent instead of informing the king, she muttered, "Tell me, Alger. Why are you doing this?"
Hearing her call him by his name, Alger’s expressions softened, and he explained with a faint smile,
"If we inform the king about a descendant of the gods having stepped down the mountains, he would send the army, which would be more problematic than the four godbloods..."
"And seeing how calmly that young man dealt with everything, it would be better for us to stay silent and wait for them to continue their journey."
"I see..." she whispered. Turning her head towards the door, she stated, "I still do not like that someone stronger than us is staying in our town."
A wry smile appeared on his face, and he mumbled, "There’s nothing we can do about it..."
Selena nodded, knelt before him, and said, "I should take my leave, my lord."
Alger’s expression turned downcast. He walked over to her, and his hands moved to the back of her helmet.
"My lord..." she whispered.
He ignored her, took off her helmet, and finally looked at her face.
She had a beautiful face, much younger than her age, short dark blue hair, and grey eyes similar to his own.
Stepping forward, he wrapped his arms around her and mumbled, "Sister..."

"Pff—!" Rion, who was drinking the juice provided by Aliyah, spat it out and blinked in shock.
"What are you doing?!" Dora, who was sitting right beside him, asked with a furious expression. Ď
"S-sorry, the reveal was just too unexpected," he muttered while wiping off his lips. Ď
"What reveal are you talking about?" She pressed, and he answered with a wave of his hand, "Don’t worry about it." Ď
She stared at his face before she gave a nod and asked, "What are we going to do now?" Ď
Rion placed a hand on his chin and mumbled with a thoughtful expression, "First of all, all of you need to learn Soline and everything that we can, then we will decide a fixed path to the Neptuma Federation." Ď
Dora nodded, turned her head towards Calvus, and said, "What about him?"
He let out a sigh and said, "We don’t have to worry about him either. After two days, he won’t have the power to do anything." Ď
"I think we should also learn these ether arts," Yuura commented with a thoughtful expression.
Dora glared at him and stated with narrowed eyes, "You only want to do that because I can’t learn them, right?"
The corners of Yuura’s lips lifted into a smirk, and he mumbled with a shrug, "When did I say that?"
A vein throbbed at her forehead, and seeing their act, a chuckle escaped Rion’s lips.
He shot to his feet and said, "I think it would be better for me to check out the town instead of staring at someone swinging a sword." Ď
Stars twinkled in Dora’s eyes, and she said, "I want to go with you." Ď
Rion smiled, shook his head, and announced, "You are only allowed to go out after learning their language... I do not want any of you to cause any needless trouble." Ď
"And you." He glared at Dora and stated with narrowed eyes, "Rest instead of using your aura to keep yourself awake..." Ď
Dora gave him a sheepish smile and said, "I cannot stay inside forever." Ď
A vein throbbed at his forehead, and he muttered, "What the hell are you talking about? You haven’t even stayed inside for a day, let alone forever!" Ď
Seeing his reaction, her smile faltered. Nodding her head, she stood up, gave him a final glance, and left for her room.
"Make sure nothing happens to her," he commanded while staring at her departing figure. Ď
"As you command, my liege," Yuura replied with devotion. Ď 𝘧𝓇𝑒𝑒𝑤ℯ𝑏𝓃𝘰𝑣ℯ𝘭.𝘤ℴ𝘮
Turning around, he took a deep breath and began to walk towards the main entrance.
As he neared the entrance, the silver lion knights fell into his vision, and his lips arched upwards.
"Let’s check how trained one has to be to become a knight under a count."
With that, his steps turned towards the knights.
