Trapped in a Novel as the D-Class Alpha I Hated Most-Chapter 25: Let’s Spend The Whole Weekend Together
I stand on the balcony, letting out a soft breath.
Ah... the morning is beautiful—and freezing at the same time.
I stretch my arms above my head, joints cracking lightly. Today is the weekend. No office. No endless meetings. No suffocating schedules.
Finally... a day to rest.
My hair is a mess, strands falling over my forehead as I run a hand through it lazily. Below, in the garden, Shine is walking among the flowers. The morning sunlight brushes over him softly, making him look unreal—gentle, quiet, almost fragile.
He looks up.
Our eyes meet.
I lift my hand and wave with a bright smile. He smiles back and waves too, then gently motions for me to come down. For a second, my smile falters. My fingers rise unconsciously to my lips.
That punch.
The memory flashes sharp and unwelcome. I don’t want to be beaten again by Zyke’s hands—not today, not ever.
I force my smile back in place and shake my head slightly, gesturing an excuse. Shine nods in understanding and turns away, his fingers brushing over the flowers as he walks. He looks beautiful like this—peaceful, untouched by cruelty.
I step back into my room, sliding the balcony door shut behind me.
It’s the weekend.
I should do something normal.
Deniz.
I pick up my phone from the bedside table and drop onto the bed with a soft thud. My fingers hover for a moment before typing.
Me: Deniz, it’s the weekend. Do you have any plans?
A few moments pass. The reply arrives with a soft clink.
Deniz: I don’t have any plans.
A small smile curves on my lips. I type quickly, excitement sneaking into my fingers.
Me: Let’s spend the whole weekend together.
Another pause.
Deniz: What do you want to do?
I don’t even hesitate.
Me: Let’s go to a fun fair.
A longer silence this time.
Deniz: Fun fair?
I grin at the screen.
Me: Yes.
Then—
Deniz: Okay.
I lock the screen instantly, clutching the phone to my chest as a bright smile spreads across my face.
A fun fair.
In my real life, I never went to one. I used to watch my classmates go with their girlfriends, laughing, sharing snacks, wasting entire days without worry. I always wondered what it felt like—to spend time without counting money, without calculating hours.
But I never had that luxury.
Weekends or weekdays—it was all the same. Work. Survive. Repeat.
I used to tell myself outings were a waste of time and money. Dates were pointless. Deep down, I knew the truth: I had neither money nor time. And who would want to go out with a broke orphan boy anyway?
My fingers tighten around the phone as I stare up at the ceiling, memories pressing quietly against my chest.
Then—
Knock. Knock.
I flinch slightly, pulled back into the present.
Sitting up, I steady my breath and say,
"Come in."
The bedroom door opens softly.
Angel steps inside, holding a coffee tray with careful hands, as if even the slightest mistake might break the quiet of the morning. I look up at him.
He bows lightly.
"Good morning, Young Master."
I smile, warmth slipping naturally onto my face.
"Good morning."
He sets the tray on the table, lifts the cup with both hands, and offers it to me with practiced grace.
"Here is your coffee, Young Master."
I take it, my smile brightening as the warmth seeps into my palms.
"Thank you."
Angel bows again.
"If you need anything, please let me know."
He takes a step back, ready to leave—always like this, always retreating before anyone can pull him closer.
"Angel."
He stops instantly and turns toward me.
I meet his eyes, my expression soft.
"Have you ever been to a fun fair?"
The question catches him off guard. His eyes widen slightly, surprise flickering across his face before he lowers his gaze.
"No, Young Master."
Of course not.
The world beyond these walls is something he’s never truly known—only corridors, duties, and silent obedience. He knows how to work perfectly, but not how to have fun.
I set the coffee cup back on the table and stand, walking toward him with light steps.
"It’s my weekend today," I say cheerfully. "What about going outside with me?"
His breath stutters.
He looks at me again, eyes wide, then drops his gaze. His fingers curl into the fabric of his shirt—the same nervous habit he has whenever he’s unsure or overwhelmed.
"Young Master, I—"
I interrupt gently, smiling.
"Me and my friend are going to a fun fair. Come with us."
His fingers tighten even more, knuckles pale. I don’t wait for his answer.
"Go get ready," I say lightly. "We don’t have much time."
I turn away, walking back toward the balcony. Without looking back, I add softly,
"Today is going to be a fun day."
There’s a pause behind me. 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝓮𝒘𝙚𝙗𝒏𝙤𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝒐𝙢
Then—
a quiet nod.
I hear his footsteps retreat as he leaves the room, and for the first time, the thought settles warmly in my chest.
Maybe today...
he’ll see a little more of the world.
I step outside, the cool morning air brushing against my face. I’m dressed neatly in a casual outfit—no office wear, no work, no pressure. Just me.
In the garden, Shine and Zyke are sitting at the table, sipping their coffee in the fresh morning light.
I walk toward them with a bright smile.
"Good morning, sister-in-law. Good morning, big brother."
Shine smiles warmly.
"Morning."
Zyke, as always, only stares at me coldly.
I ignore him quickly. I don’t want him ruining my weekend.
Shine’s gaze moves over me from head to toe, then he smiles.
"Zyren, you look cute in casual clothes."
I pause for a second.
I thought I looked handsome... but instead, I get cute.
Well—fine. I can live with that.
I smile.
"Thank you, sister-in-law."
Zyke’s eyes stay on me.
"Are you going somewhere?" Shine asks.
I nod.
"Yes, sister-in-law. I’m going out with my friends."
Zyke speaks, his voice cold.
"You have friends?"
I look at him.
The question isn’t wrong. Zyren Kael makes enemies, not friends.
Still, I smile.
"I do."
Glancing at my watch, I straighten.
"I should go now. Please enjoy."
Shine smiles at me.
"Good luck."
I walk away, turning back just once with a cheerful grin.
"Thanks."
