Transmigration; A Mother's Redemption and a perfect Wife.-Chapter 369; That many?
The firmness in her tone made it clear this wasn’t a suggestion.
"We’re creating something new here," she said, her voice softening again. "A company where talent matters more than connections, where hard work is valued over politics, where kindness is just as important as skill. If that’s the kind of place you want to be part of, then prove it, not just with your audition, but with how you treat the person waiting next to you."
Behind her, Huo Ting Cheng’s expression, what was visible of it, held a hint of satisfaction, This was the woman he’d fallen for. The one who believed in changing systems, not just succeeding within them.
"That’s all from me for now," Tang Fei concluded with a warm smile. "I’ll check in once more before we close for the night. Until then, break a leg, everyone. And remember, whether you’re selected today or not, the fact that you tried makes you braver than most people ever dare to be."
She reached forward to end the livestream....
And before her finger could touch the button, Huo Ting Cheng did something that would break the internet for the second time that night.
He turned his head and pressed a slow, deliberate kiss to her shoulder.
Not so quick and not hidden.
Unmistakably possessive and tender at once.
Tang Fei’s eyes widened, her cheeks flushing pink, but she didn’t pull away. Instead, she turned her head just enough to meet his eyes, and the look they exchanged was so intimate, so private despite being completely public, that people watching felt like they were witnessing something sacred.
Then the screen went dark.
The internet didn’t just explode this time.
It combusted.
Within thirty seconds, the livestream had been screen-recorded and shared across every platform.
Within two minutes, it was trending on Weibo, WeChat, TikTok, Instagram, and Twitter simultaneously.
Within five minutes, engagement hit 500 million.
By the fifteen-minute mark, it had surpassed 1 billion interactions, likes, shares, comments, and reposts flooding in so fast that multiple platforms temporarily crashed.
@RomanticAtHeart: I JUST WITNESSED THE MOST INTIMATE MOMENT AND I FEEL LIKE I SHOULD APOLOGIZE FOR WATCHING
@BusinessInsider: Huo Ting Cheng, known for NEVER appearing on camera, just kissed his wife’s shoulder on a livestream watched by millions. This is not a drill. I REPEAT, THIS IS NOT A DRILL.
@CelebGossip: The way he holds her... the way he looks at her... this isn’t PR. This isn’t business. This is a man absolutely GONE for his wife.
@SkepticalNetizen: Okay, I was one of the people who said their marriage was fake, and I would like to formally apologize. That man is IN LOVE and I was BLIND.
@EntertainmentDaily: Breaking: Huo Ting Cheng’s public display of affection toward wife Tang Fei shatters previous records for viral content. Centurion Entertainment’s social media accounts gained 75 million followers in under an hour.

@AnotherCoward: [This account has been deleted]
@SmartPerson2024: Note to self: Never say anything negative about Tang Fei ever again. Her husband just claimed her on camera in front of a billion people and I do NOT want to find out what happens to people who cross her.
@WiseObserver: Everyone talking about the kiss, but did you HEAR her speech? That woman is building an empire on principles. With a husband who clearly worships her. They’re going to change the entire industry.
@ReformedTroll: I used to make fun of celebrity marriages. After tonight, I believe in love again. Also, I’m terrified of Huo Ting Cheng. But mostly the love thing.
Within an hour, negative comments about Tang Fei had completely vanished from the internet.

Because everyone remembered what had happened to the previous wave of online harassers, they’d disappeared. Completely. Some said they’d been sued into oblivion by Centurion’s legal team. Others whispered darker rumors about bodies found in rivers.
No one knew the truth.
No one dared to find out. 𝑓𝘳𝑒𝑒𝓌𝘦𝘣𝘯ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝑚
@SurvivalInstinct: Lesson learned: Tang Fei belongs to Huo Ting Cheng. He just made that crystal clear. If you value your continued existence, keep any negative thoughts to yourself.
Back in the office, Tang Fei stared at her phone, watching the numbers climb with a mixture of awe and disbelief.
"One billion engagements," she whispered. "In fifteen minutes."
"Mmm," Huo Ting Cheng hummed against her neck, apparently unconcerned with breaking the internet.
"Ting Cheng, do you understand what you just did?" She turned in his arms to face him. "You kissed me on camera. In front of millions of people. You.... you who hate social media and avoid journalists like they carry plague, just voluntarily appeared on a livestream."
"I’m aware," he said calmly.
"Why?" she asked, searching his face. "Why would you do that?"
His hand came up to cup her cheek, his thumb brushing across her skin with a tenderness that made her breath catch.
"Because," he said quietly, "I wanted everyone to know. No room for doubt. No space for rumors. You’re mine, Tang Fei. And I’m not hiding it....."
Her throat tightened with emotion. "You didn’t have to...."
"Yes, I did," he interrupted. "Because you deserve to be claimed. Publicly. Proudly. Without hesitation." His eyes held hers with an intensity that made her feel like the only person in the world. "And because anyone who thinks they can hurt you needs to understand exactly who they’d be crossing."
Tang Fei couldn’t speak. Could only stare at this impossible man who’d just upended his entire stance on privacy and publicity for her.
"Sir," Huo Wu interjected quietly, holding up his tablet, "All negative commentary about the Missus has ceased. Major entertainment news outlets are now running positive coverage, and..." he paused with satisfaction, "....the three primary harassment accounts have been permanently deactivated."
"Good," Huo Ting Cheng said simply.
Tang Fei knew she should probably feel something about that, concern, maybe, or worry about the implications.
But when she remembered the cruel things that had been said, not just about her but about the children, about Huo Ting Cheng, about their family, she found she didn’t feel bad at all.
