TRANSMIGRATED WITH A HYPERMARKET SYSTEM-Chapter 159 - 5: SEVENTH FLOOR
"Is everything ready?" Alayna inquired as she entered the elevator.
Tammy, the young lady with the glasses, stood obediently behind Alayna and nodded, "yes, all the preparations had been completed. The items are all securely stored in the secret room. Everything will undoubtedly go smoothly tomorrow."
Alayna was relieved to learn that, while there had been no reports of a robbery in her area, she didn’t want to make a shambles and end up embarrassing herself.
Tomorrow is a big day in her life; she was finally going to open the auction house to the public, or should she say fated people, because she can’t accommodate everyone, but maybe things will be different in the future.
This was also her first auction, and she wanted it to be different and special. She was going to impress people with the items she had on hand, after all, with the help of the hardworking system, all of the staff she has is top-notch and not easily accessible.
So much has changed in the last decade; for example, Elena, her favorite employee, turned out to be a princess and a Saintess from another world, which wasn’t all that surprising.
Elena returned to her world three years ago because there was something urgent that required her presence, so the person who had accompanied her for years left like that.
Fortunately, Elena had groomed several wonderful people to take her place when she left, and Tammy was one of them.
Tammy began working for her while she was still in college in West town. She was working part-time and gradually climbed the ladder.
Tammy was recently promoted to be Alayna’s special assistant after outperforming the other candidates.
She worked hard, didn’t put on airs, and, most importantly, didn’t cower in the face of pressure or threats. One should not judge her solely based on the cover because she wears glasses and appears to be a nerd.
Despite her lack of talent and cultivation, as well as her status as an ordinary person, she was one of the most difficult nuts to crack, and everyone knew how bad she could be.
Tammy was fearless and capable of defending herself; the best part was her loyalty. People dubbed the girl "Alayna’s little slave" because she idolized Alayna so much.
She was very eloquent and knew how to deal with any situation that arose. The little girl is also being pursued by a prince, which is quite surprising given Tammy’s lack of wealth and lack of descent from noble or aristocratic families.
Alayna and Tammy exited the elevator as it approached the seventh floor. The two were greeted by the staff who had been specially trained and assigned to work on this floor.
And these were not slackers; sixty percent of the staff were cultivators with high cultivation levels. The rest were mortals, but they, like Tammy, were not to be taken lightly.
"Welcome, my lady!"
"Greetings, my lady!"
"Welcome, my lady!"
"Thanks, guys," Alayna said brightly to her employees, "we don’t have much time to waste, so let’s see how far we can get!"
As much as she wanted to talk to them more, she just wanted to double-check everything before nightfall.
The doors appeared to sense Alayna’s presence, as they fully opened as soon as she approached them.
This was no longer shocking to the staff because it was commonplace. Of course, if it was them, they needed a special card to access everything, which was far superior to those who couldn’t even take the elevator up there.
She smiled brightly as she entered the familiar hall. She had been working hard for a year on this location, and it was finally time for her to show it off.
Of course, there was nothing special about the place, other than some seats for regular bidders and private rooms for the V.V.I. P’s.
The hall has three floors, with the third-floor housing the V.V.I. P’s private rooms and the other two have regular seats.
The front section has this massive podium made of glass, making everything transparent, and there was also a projector that would magnify everything so that people didn’t have to narrow their eyes just trying to get a clear picture of what item would be shown at the time.
She walked down the hall to the back, where the storeroom and other offices were. The storeroom was also known as the safe, and in this room-sized safe, several items that would surprise many bigwigs were currently on display, some of which were protected and enclosed by glass.
She was overjoyed when she saw the items she had painstakingly purchased with her crystals and points.
At the very least, her name will be known throughout the world as a result of this auction.
The opportunity to spread knowledge on a higher level was more important to her than the money.
"Umm, lady boss!" As they were about to leave the storeroom, Tammy called hesitantly.
Alayna came to a halt and turned around, her eyebrows raised, to ask the girl, "what is it?"
Tammy’s expression was conflicted as she looked around the room, particularly in the other corner, "are you auctioning that?"
"Why?" Alayna chuckled as she looked at the other, "you can’t stand it?"
"I just feel like it’s a loss," Tammy sighed as she looked at her boss’s playful expression, "will the advantage you’ve always had vanish if you auction it and it sells?"
"How can that be? Let’s just say there are advantages to my doing this. Besides, I will not suffer a loss but will greatly benefit from it!" Alayna reassured the young lady.

She had been a businesswoman for years and knew how to do things and sign deals that would not cost her money unless she was doing charity.
Because her boss had already planned this, she decided to trust her as usual and watch the drama unfold the next day.
"All right, boss. I believe we should now proceed to......"
When Tammy returned to work, Alayna smiled and listened intently to her, with the rest of the staff close behind.
