The happiest person to see them was Olinda, the girl had been alone and only accompanied by the servants and it was boring. It wasn’t the same without the others and she wished that she had gone with them.

So, seeing them back, Olinda was so jovial she showed it by preparing a feast for the family. Merita was also happy to reunite with her older sister, after all, it was lonesome for her in the village.

The village was good and all, but her mother was so busy that she didn’t have time to play with her or be with her. it was the same as being alone, so returning home was the best.

Alayna shook her head helplessly seeing this but she was also happy seeing that the kids got along very well with each other.

Alayna had a lot of things to do back home so she didn’t leave immediately but visited her establishments one by one.

Her first destination was the magazine factory which was in the forest. The factory was working perfectly and seeing the magazines in production, she couldn’t help but take a look at them.

After the factory, she visited the magazine firm where she spent the full day looking at the several magazines that the teams had been working on. To be honest, the standards weren’t up there but comparing them to the ones she has seen in this world, they were perfect.

She didn’t want to spend her time being concerned about the production and distribution of every business. This will only make her stuck in one place and she didn’t want that at all.

Alayna gave some pointers on the overall work and rewarded everyone for working hard without being monitored.

The next day, she spends her time at the post office and she was greatly amazed by how awesome the place has become. A lot of people had become used to using the post office services and with the Ciliren city branch open, it became even easier to operate business between the two places.

And with the introduction of mailboxes, a lot of people had registered and rented boxes, so there was now a steady flow of income for the post office side.

She didn’t forget to leave more stock for the two firms before returning home for the day. The next day she didn’t go anywhere but entertained the merchants who rushed to see her upon hearing that she was back.

Thanks to these enthusiastic merchants, she wasn’t able to go anywhere for the next week and happily did business deals with them.

When she was done, she revisited the magazine firm and the post office to check on them again before visiting the institution. The institution was faring well and there were several new faces.

As children grow, some of them gradually left the institution to start their own lives. Some elderlies failed to make it and gradually passed on and this isn’t something that happened in the one month that she was away but with time.

Alayna didn’t forget to check on the progress of the stokvel program, more members joined and others also dropped out. Some decided to form their own groups and deal with the money themselves without using a middleman, and this wasn’t bad at all.

She even applauded them, after all, it wasn’t easy to manage the lot of them. she only did it at first to give a helping hand.

People were still taking loans from the shop and everyone was repaying the loans. They didn’t dare to run away without paying, they were all afraid of facing the consequences of going against Alayna.

Cooperatives were also doing well, of course, others still failed to gain everything. This couldn’t be blamed on Alayna, if they couldn’t manage their business then it will be doomed to fail.

Others also joined the program and the people’s lives were doing perfectly well.

Olinda was still preparing for the entrance test and Merita already started getting ready for school.

Alayna’s next visit was to Ciliren where she checked the post office, the only shop that she opened there. As for the other shop, she hasn’t thought of what to do with it yet but maybe with time, the answer will come.

She stayed in the city for another day before returning home. The next day, she returned to Athalia village where she opened the shop.

People were a little mad but what can they do to her?

Alayna’s purpose this time was to solve the employment issue so she held the interviews as soon as she returned. She had gone through all resumes sent to her and posted the list of the people who qualified for interviews.

Alayna practically held the interviews in the afternoon for two hours for the next three days before accepting suitable candidates. After accepting these candidates, she began to train all candidates that qualified for the cashier positions.

And the best way to teach them was to show them how to do the job and this is something that took only two days. On the third day, she showed them videos on how to be a cashier which cemented the knowledge that she taught them.

On the fourth and fifth days, she gave the eight cashiers a chance to personally serve customers. Seeing their good aptitude, she knew that it was time to upgrade the shop.

So, she posted a notice that the shop will be closed for a while once again after she used the upgrade card. It was going to take one week for the shop to be upgraded and this gave her time to train other people as well.

The next batch was the post office and magazine employees. She started with the post office staff and only took one day to personally teach them and left them to watch videos on how they should serve customers or hold themselves.

On second thoughts, Alayna went back to the Dark Forest and took a few employees to the village. She picked Sonya to teach the cashiers a thing and two, after all the little girls now have experience and this was another way to boost her self-esteem.

There was one from the post office side to help the fellow new members and after leaving the old drivers with the new, she began to concentrate on the magazine employees.

As these people had to use technology in the future, their training was quite long and with the help of the old employees who were very happy to be teachers and show the new people the ropes, Alayna’s job became very easy.

Alayna left the new employees in the hands of the old ones and began to deal with another pressing issue. Alayna found an empty plot of land where she began the construction of another paper factory like the one back in the Dark Forest.

Alayna didn’t neglect the employees as well, she kept on checking up on them and helping them.

All employees will live in the dormitories but if they are those who don’t want to live in the village, she wasn’t going to be forceful.

With one day remaining before the shop finishes upgrading, she visited Belshoy to check on the alley shop. It’s been a while since she was there. She wasn’t planning on staying for long, all she wanted to do was check on the businesses.

Alayna spends two days there; this time also gave her a chance to take a closer look at the employees she recruited and she was happy with them. She refused to see the old employees she fired last time; she didn’t have time for any drama.

She also didn’t forget to have a few meals with Selena, it will be very bad if she just leaves without seeing the other.

She didn’t have time to visit Astrid as the shop in Athalia village was ready to be opened.

She returned back to the village and checked the shop first without revealing it to the public.

The shop had leveled to a supermarket and it was now the same as the shops in Belshoy and Ciliren cities.

There wasn’t any difference with the other supermarkets except for the private mailboxes that will help greatly when the post office is open.

After checking the supermarket and making sure that everything was okay, she went home to wait for another brilliant day.

Alayna already passed the day for opening, so the next morning she found out that there was a huge crowd waiting for the fog to dissipate and when they saw Alayna, they were all happy and excited.

Seeing her here, meaning that the shop will be open. Many of them had come the previous day and they went back home disappointed.
