Alayna couldn’t help but shudder the more she listened to this crazy conversation, to think that people will go to such great lengths to deal with relatives for a measly inheritance and something they didn’t even work hard for, how can people be pathetic?

Alayna didn’t make a move on them and simply returned. She didn’t want her little girl to be worried or cause a ruckus just to find her.

That night, Alayna spent it thinking of ideas for how to solve this problem, in the end, she came up with something that will help her deal with this once and for all.

She didn’t want to dirty her hands or have blood on her hands, and although she wanted to avenge her kids, killing wasn’t something that she wanted to do again.

She sneaked into the Yemen mansion that night, that is the family that Merita and Neal were supposedly from but didn’t know as they didn’t grow up there.

Her main purpose was to sort this two-faced woman and let her own family deal with her accordingly.

Lady Fiona had no idea that she wasn’t alone in the room, so when she suddenly got attacked, she didn’t even have time to call out for help.

Alayna had covered herself very well so that she won’t be identified. Lady Fiona looked at the masked person with so much hatred in her eyes, to think that she was caught unaware in her own home, she was so furious.

"I will make things quick and I hope that you will also cooperate. If you give me satisfactory answers, I will let you go. I need to remind you that it is pointless to scream or shout for help, no one will come to your aid!" Alayna coldly informed the other as she removed the tape covering Fiona’s mouth.

"Just who are you?" Fiona asked with gritted teeth as she looked at the unknown assailant.

"Who I am, it is none of your business. Now we are starting, I hope that you won’t disappoint me!" Alayna smirked as she looked at the angry Fiona.

’I swear I will find you and teach you a lesson you will never forget. I will give you the most horrible and painful death anyone has ever experienced!’

Whatever Fiona was planning and thinking, Alayna wasn’t in the mood to know as she started her own interrogation for answers, answers that turned her heart cold and also made her receive a notification that didn’t make her as happy as before.

[The host has completed the mission and has been rewarded with two guardians for the children.]

Alayna’s mood quickly improved upon hearing about the guardians of the kids. At least the kids will be protected and their safety guaranteed. Why should she fear some crazy woman who was blinded by power and fame?

She was going to leave all the revenge to the kids and this was something that will be done in the future and not now.

Alayna claimed the rewards and two humanoid robots stood in front of her, one male and one female. After checking their attributes, she was quite shocked seeing how powerful they were.

She was quite satisfied with them and leaving her babies in their hands, there was nothing to worry about. So, she ordered the two to guard the kids without exposing themselves.

After issuing her orders, the guardians vanished and this didn’t make her worry as she knows where they went.

This reward reminded her of the rewards she hasn’t used yet for completing that other mission of opening a shop. As she was required to have three draws, she didn’t hesitate but began.

Her luck was off the charts and she managed to win a mobile shop that can either be pulled by a vehicle or animals from one place to another. She also won a 5-use house upgrade card which was a huge bargain and lastly, she received a spirit gathering pill that aids an individual to breakthrough.

Her job was done here, so there was no need for her to stay any longer but for the sake of the little girl, she stayed for two more days before leaving again.

As for Lady Fiona, when she woke up the next day, she couldn’t remember what happened the previous night and she had no memories of being interrogated at all, so her plans were still in motion and she had no idea that she exposed herself to her greatest enemy.

Alayna didn’t head back to the Dark Forest but made her way to Athalia village. It’s been a very long time since she checked the progress there and she also thought that it was time for her to open the village and operate it.

But before opening it to the public, she needed to go back home and sort out all issues as she will be staying at the village for a longer time.

The village had developed beautifully and most building structures were already completed. Alayna instructed for more construction and this was the last construction that will be done in the village as all buildings were built, and only people were left.

After doing this, she upgraded her house in the village and teleported back home where she began to handle any pending business.

To be honest, she didn’t want to continue operating the magazine the way she was doing. If she isn’t there, how were these people going to get anything published?

So, she bought all the machines needed to print the magazines and had them installed in a building she had the system built for her at short notice in the Dark Forest, she didn’t trust leaving those machines in a place without the system’s protection.

During this time, she hired more employees, promoted some, and fired those that were unruly. She also held another training for all employees and this took over one month.

Those that were supposed to run the machines were knowledgeable and with Elena’s friends who seemed very capable of operating these machines, she was at ease.

There was also another reason why Alayna took over a month to deal with things at the Dark Forest, Merita wanted to tag along. The school term was coming to an end, and she wanted to follow her.

So, she agreed, as for Olinda, she was currently in a tricky situation that didn’t allow her to leave, so she decided to remain and look after the house. She will also be responsible for passing on any important messages in case any customer that requires her personal service comes.

Alayna also checked the other shops and left stern instructions before leaving for Athalia village. It wasn’t that she will not be stopping at the shops while dealing with the village, it’s just that the time she will be going there will not be many.

Merita was very excited, she had no idea that her mother now owns a whole village. Her mother was mighty and she was her idol, how can she not love such a woman?

Alayna was also happy, going with her daughter to the village was a blessing. At least they will have each other and won’t be lonely.

When Merita saw the beautiful village, she was amazed. It was as if she was looking at those dramas she always watches on TV, this was probably the most unique village in the whole world and her worshiping gaze didn’t leave her mother.

Alayna had no idea that her daughter was acting like this as her eyes were glued to the blanketed side where construction was still in progress.

"Let me show you around!" Alayna finally turned to her daughter with a smile.

"Sure, I can’t wait!"

The village turned out to be great, there was the housing district where villagers will live in the future, and the commercial district where businesses will be opened. She wasn’t planning on doing a monopoly, as long as one can start a business, they were free to rent a shop and do it.

There was the administrative district where the council building, police office and fire brigade, bank, court, and prison were.

There was also an institution that consists of kindergarten school, primary school, high school, and college. Of course, this catered more to mortal beings but if there is any cultivator who wants to attend school, then they are free.

Alayna went all out as she knows that no authority will do anything to her and if anyone tried to covet what belongs to her, she will simply destroy everything and there was nothing that they could do about it.

Merita was awed by everything that she saw and it was the first time that she saw how ambitious her mother was. She was also touched seeing how much effort her mother has put into building this village.

"Mom, you don’t have to worry. I can assure you that soon this place will be crowded and it won’t be empty anymore."

Alayna smiled as she ruffled her daughter’s hair, "I believe you."

"Umm."

The two smiled at each other knowingly and continued with the tour.
