TRANSMIGRATED WITH A HYPERMARKET SYSTEM-Chapter 119 - 117: SUCCESS
Alayna drove the kids to the shop, when she arrived it was around seven but to her surprise, the place was already packed with customers standing in proper queues waiting for the shop to open.
Elena and the other employees were already inside the shop, doing some preparations which weren’t a lot.
Seeing Alayna, everyone was very excited as most of the people came for one reason and that was to buy the magazine they heard about.
[Lady boss, good morning!]
[Morning fairy!]

"Good morning, everyone, I hope that you had a great weekend!"
[It was fine!]
[Just dying to see what you prepared for us!]
[Can we see it now!]

"Don’t worry everyone, I have enough copies for everyone here and if there are not enough, I will do my best to make sure that you get them as soon as possible. I will be setting a stall outside the shop to allow those who want to buy groceries and other stuff to have space. I don’t want any stampedes going on because of some pieces of paper."
"As I said previously to those that managed to attend the seminar last weekend, the magazines will be published monthly but I will try in the future to publish something I call an advertiser and this can be published weekly. We will talk more about it in the future."
"And the most important thing that I didn’t tell anyone before is the magazine price. There is a lot of effort required in creating it, a lot of resources, time, and money. Even the quality is top notch so the price will be slightly higher but also affordable. At the moment an individual can only buy one copy and in the future, you can do as you wish. Each copy costs 50 copper coins, I hope that you will not be disappointed by this."
To be honest, the price of the magazine was very cheap when comparing it to the price of Merita’s book. The book was currently being sold at 200 copper coins which were four times higher.
She wanted everyone to afford it but at the same time, she also wanted to cover some cost of production. As much as she wants to spread happiness, she wouldn’t provide anything for free.
She wasn’t the government and didn’t gain anything in receiving taxes, so there was absolutely no way she will be a messiah but if it was for charity, she didn’t mind opening her wallet and providing things for free.
[Although the price is a little bit high, it is still understandable.]
[Yes, with how expensive everything in the shop is, we can still afford it.]
[I wish we could buy more copies.]
[Let’s check the magazine first, it may not be worth the price.]
After saying her piece, Alayna didn’t bother to go inside but took out a desk, chair, and a tent to cover herself. The security men were already in place maintaining order and helping those that needed help.
Everyone watched as Alayna took out boxes from her storage ring and set them on the ground, just near her legs. After that, she opened one box and took out two sealed plastic bags with several thin books.
[Ohh, so that is how they look like?]
[I think I have seen something like this before? Do you remember that movie *****? It was there!]
[Yes, it looks the same. I can’t believe that we are also having something like this.]
[I can’t wait to buy a copy!]
Alayna didn’t care about how anxious everyone was at the moment, she took out one copy and looked at the cover page with a bright smile. The cover has a full bloom photo of the supermarket without any customers and the majestic words ’THE RISING PHOENIX’ could be seen clearly.
’Alas, my shop is still the best!’ she was shameless enough to boast about it, after all in this world, who else will be so powerful as to contest against a system from God knows where?
[What is the lady boss doing?]
[Aya, when is she selling?]
{Lady boss, when are you starting to sell?}
{Yes, the anxiety is killing us!}
"Just be patient, I will be done very quickly!" Alayna responded as she opened the magazine to take a peek inside.
The magazine wasn’t that complicated, the first page was more of a content index that directs an individual on what to find on what page.
She didn’t make it complicated for readers to read, even those that couldn’t read could also look at photos and understand what is going on.
Alayna introduced the supermarket on the first pages and the Dark Forest in detail. Of course, she left some crucial information that was directly linked to the system.
She took this chance to promote and advertise her supermarket. She didn’t forget to include the Draak town and the nearby villages, towns, and cities as well.
The Hope Institution was also there and images from there. In conclusion, there was the social section that showed the way of living of people, the business section where she put her supermarket mostly and other projects that she started so far.
She didn’t forget to include some testimonies she still recalls as she didn’t really note down everything before. There was the entertainment part, she advertised the Phoenix Garden and what is provided there.
There were even photos to support everything that was written there. There were even photos of locals playing and having fun. If one is lucky, he/she may him/herself in one of the photos.
In the sports section, there wasn’t much as she had not participated in any sporting activities lately but she didn’t forget to write up some crucial notes on the importance of being healthy and maintaining it.
There was also the kids’ section that had a lot of different games that kids could play as well as adults as well, for example, puzzle games, tracing games, crosswords, and spot the difference.
And there was the letter section where adverts can be put, interaction and let people become pen pals with each other. As long as the lucky ones leave some details, then there might be a chance to receive some response.
Many other sections will be added in the future when she has more employees who can split up and be in charge of their respective departments.
It took her around five minutes to peruse the whole magazine and she was satisfied with it although there was still room for improvement.
"Okay, I am done now! Let’s start!"
This is what everyone was waiting for, so the cheering was very loud.
The first customer Alayna served was Merita who stole everyone’s heart with her cuteness followed by Olinda.
[Lady boss is still unique. To think that they even have to pay too!]
[Why shouldn’t they pay when even the lady boss herself paid for the copy she opened?]
That was true, everyone saw Alayna setting aside some money when she took the magazine from the sealed plastic earlier.
Just like that people started getting their copies in an orderly manner. Seeing the copies disappearing, those who had not bought were very anxious and couldn’t help but voice out their concerns.
[Lady boss, don’t finish them. We still want to buy!]
"Don’t worry, I have more copies, so be at ease," Alayna assured everyone, after all, she hasn’t even sold a quarter of the copies, she brought with her.
On this day, she managed to sell a total of 1,000 copies which was already a lot. It seems she was going to get busier in the future.
Those that managed to buy the magazines were very intrigued and couldn’t stop praising Alayna for producing something like this. Even some reporters and some personnel from the news publishing agencies in Ciliren and nearby cities bought some copies to study and see if they can either improve themselves or completely take Alayna out of the business.
But just looking at the quality of the paper itself, they all knew that they wouldn’t compete or compare themselves with her, so the only option for them was to improvise and improve themselves, otherwise, they will definitely lose customers.
The debut of the Phoenix magazine was considered a success, as long as people buy and praise it, as long as they show their adoration, that was already enough for her.
She didn’t have a target, as long as the copies get finished and people continue to buy more, that was already enough for her.
She wasn’t going to spend most of her time selling the magazines, she was going to find someone to do that and at the same time, she was going to start hiring people for the new job as well as employees for the post office will be establishing.
And she couldn’t wait!
Alayna handed over the job of selling the magazines to Olinda, she was going to do it like this for one week before she put all the magazines in the shop. This way people only need to go to another section of the shop to get the magazines or the books.
