James finally returned home to live in the house that he used to live in with his parents, he found a young maiden he fell in love with and the two settled down together.

He became a hunter and he would go up the mountains and hunt animals to sell. When he wasn’t hunting, he would do some miscellaneous jobs for the young nobles and everything was going perfectly.

James was actually unlucky, even after marrying his wife for a while, they didn’t get a child. One day he got hurt while hunting and from there on, his medical bills became huge.

He didn’t mind going through all this pain as his beloved wife was with him, but who knew that one day that ungrateful woman ditched him and took most valuables with her?

But before dying, he decided to spend every single cent he had remaining. He didn’t want to leave anything to his relatives, they were never there for him or his deceased parents when they wanted them.

After spending his money like there is no tomorrow, he finally remained with one silver coin and this was enough to get a decent burial when his body was found.

So, he went there but he never expected to see a fool who opened a strange shop in the middle of the forest. His curiosity got the best of him, he would just die later after seeing what the shop was all about.

And to be honest, he was grateful up until this day that he decided to go to commit suicide in the Dark Forest and not in another place.

The enticing aroma cleared some suicidal thoughts from his head for a while. He went to the shop and found the prices ridiculous but he wanted to satisfy himself before he dies, so he used the last money on himself and bought the steamed buns and water.

And when he ate the food, he couldn’t dare believe the change that happened in his body. Of course, he didn’t dare ask the lady boss anything at that time as all he could think about was the change in his body.

James no longer had any thought of dying and returned home hastily where he cultivated seriously and made a breakthrough. Even his injuries healed, solving the problem that caused all of his recent tragedies.

With the money he received from this, he was able to build a house that he was proud of. even his lady boss praised him and that was enough.

Although the money from the stokvel program still needed to be returned to its rightful owners, it was helpful as it was like receiving an interest-free loan.

With a house in his name, he was also able to purchase farming land and hire people to deal with it.

Time quickly passes and the shop was expanding crazily and miraculously. His life was also improving and at some point, an amazing thing happened.

His ungrateful ex-wife came back to him crying and acting shamelessly like a white lotus but he wasn’t one to fall for that act.

he was grateful that she left, at least he saw her true face and during these crazy moments, his miracle happened.

Looking at the person smiling at him, the person who has been meticulously making meals for him, showering him with so much love and affection, he could only thank his God for bestowing him with such a heavenly angel.

He didn’t know what the future holds but he sincerely prayed that she will be there with him and never leave. He hopes for a better future, where he will become strong to protect his beloved ones and give them a brighter future.

Life is not fair but, in most cases, it can be considered fair as well, after all, it is not fair to everyone.
