Scarlett stopped her footsteps when she caught sight of them.

’What are they doing here?’

After making up her mind, she approached him.

Scarlett realized the bracelet was an artifact when it immediately adjusted to the shape of her wrist. "This bracelet is an artifact?"

"Yes. It’s called Eclipse Bracelet." he said the bracelet would alternate between two modes: Solar Mode (Light) and Lunar Mode (Shadow).

When it was in the Solar Mode, it would grant her enhanced speed and the ability to conjure a protective shield.

When it was in the Lunar Mode, it would grant her the ability to hide her aura and heightened awareness of hidden dangers.

Scarlett was startled again.

Her love for him grew bigger because he was willing to give her a good artifact.

"Thank you, Ren." she instantly forgot to ask about his relationship with Lexie because happiness swelled within her.

"You are welcome." Ren smiled softly as he caressed her hair gently.

Then, the duo began to talk.

Scarlett looked like a different person when she talked to him.

The personality she always showed to her people was nowhere to be seen.

At that moment, she was just like herself in the illusion world, as if she were not the city mistress of Nightshire City.

As Ren and Scarlett chatted happily, Lexie smiled softly.

She was sitting by the window so she could see them clearly because the location of her restaurant was not far from them.

"Ren, I’ve signed all your documents. You will officially become a citizen of Nightshire City tomorrow." Scarlett said, "We will announce it to everyone the day after tomorrow."

"Great!" Ren said.

When she wanted to say something about his house, she suddenly remembered what she wanted to ask him earlier.

"Ren, can I ask something?" she inquired.

"Sure." He answered.

"What...what is your relationship with Lexie?" her heart beat fast as she waited for his answer because she was afraid that it would ruin their relationship.

"My relationship with her?" Ren was not nervous and still acted normally. "My relationship with her is quite complicated."

"Complicated? Like what?" she inquired.

"We have no status for now, but our relationship is li-" before Ren had finished his words, Lexie’s voice rang out.

"Ren, can you let me answer Scarlett’s question?" Lexie was close when Scarlett asked about his relationship with her so she could hear her question.

Ren and Scarlett shifted their gaze to Lexie.

"Is your business finished?" he inquired.

"Yes." Lexie answered, "Scarlett, can we go somewhere? I will tell you about my relationship with him."

Scarlett did not answer Lexie’s question immediately; instead, she looked at Ren.

After he nodded his head, Scarlett returned her attention to Lexie. "Sure."

Then, Lexie and Scarlett went somewhere, a place where Ren could not hear their conversation.

Time went by quickly and without realizing it, it had been twenty minutes since Scarlett and Lexie had left.

At this moment, Ren was sitting on a public seating alone because Scarlett and Lexie still had not returned yet.

"Just what are they talking about? Why aren’t they back yet?" Ren let out a deep sigh before finally looking at the sky.

[Maybe they are discussing who will be the first lady, Host.]

The corner of his lips twitched. "What makes you think like that?"

[Because they are in love with you, Host. So, who do you think will be the first lady? Scarlett or Lexie?]

Ren ignored the question.
