To Byul (Omegaverse)-Chapter 165: I don’t think I need to

Kang-woo laid quietly on his bed with his eyes fixed on the ceiling. He had woken up a while ago but he couldn’t bring himself to get up or even check the time.

Judging by how bright it was outside and how loud the birds were chirping, he was sure the time was a little over 8 to 9 but he still couldn’t bring himself to stand up.

’I miss Hwa,’ was the thought that rang through his head all morning since he woke up. 𝘧𝓇𝑒𝑒𝑤ℯ𝑏𝓃𝘰𝑣ℯ𝘭.𝘤ℴ𝘮

He could’ve just gotten up and gone to their house since he missed him so much but he would be too early and he didn’t want it to seem like he was eager to take Hwa away either.

They might’ve not even had breakfast yet so he shouldn’t rush.

"Haa," he sighed and finally sat up. He should brush his teeth and take a bath at least.

He went to his bathroom and started brushing his teeth when he heard a knock on his room door.

He got out of the bathroom with his brush still in his mouth and opened the door, thinking it was his mother but it was Tae-won.

"Dad," Kang-woo called, taking the toothbrush out of his mouth. "Good morning."

"Good morning too son," he said and looked past him, inside the room. "When you’re done brushing your teeth, come down. We have visitors,"

"Okay," he answered and watched his father leave but wondered who would visit so early on a Saturday morning. "Is it Hwa?" He wondered but shook his head.

His thoughts were revolving around Chin-hwa alone that it was starting to feel like an obsession. It must be his rut messing with his head.

He rinsed his mouth and walked down, only to find his parents sitting in the living room and with them were Chin-hwa’s parents but Chin-hwa was not present.

"Annyeong," he greeted as he bowed at them and Hae-won waved.

"How are you, Kang-woo?" He asked and Kang-woo nodded.

"I’m fine. What brings you here this morning?"

"Oh, I just found out something rather serious this morning," Hae-won said and Kang-woo guessed it had to do with Chin-hwa disclosing he was going into heat.

"I understand," he nodded.

"Why? Aren’t you going to ask me what I heard?" Hae-won asked but Kang-woo shook his head and said,

"I don’t think I need to." He said and sat down next to Lee Ga-ram. "If I’m correct, then this is about my rut and Chin-hwa’s heart, right?"

"Ah, so it’s true." Ga-ram said. "I didn’t think you’d experience a rut so soon. Are you feeling okay?" He placed his hand on Kang-woo’s forehead, checking his temperature. "Any temporary fevers lately?"

"I’m fine, mum." Kang-woo answered holding Ga-ram’s hand and pulling it down from his head. "Don’t worry."

Then, he turned to Woo-bin who was sitting with his arms folded and Baek-Hyun, who looked neither bothered nor angry.

"Why didn’t you tell us till now?" Tae-won asked Kang-woo. "Now there’s just four days to go."

"Yes, dad." Kang-woo answered, not too proud about itm

"Alright, since we’re all aware of this, I would like to say something," Hae-won said. "Since this is going to be my poor Hwa’s first time, I can’t help but feel uneasy about it all. So, I’m tasking the Alphas in this very living room to fill Kang-woo in on all he needs to know." He announced, causing them to look at him in confusion. "And by that, I mean educate Kang-woo on sex."

"What?" Woo-bin was the first to react, though his exclamation seemed rather rehearsed as if he knew what Hae-won was going to say from the start.

"Is there a problem?" Hae-won asked him.

"You want us to teach the kid how to screw our cute and innocent kid?" He asked and got them thinking.

"If you put it like that, it makes us seem like rather immoral parents." Hae-won said and laughed. "And I get your concern but don’t you think it would put us at ease if we left Hwa in the hands of someone who knows what he’s doing? If we let it be, I don’t think I’ll be able to rest easy when the whole stuff is going on."

"But still..." Woo-bin was rather adamant and he looked at Kang-woo who was feeling awkward about it as well.

Getting tutored on sex education by Hwa’s parents wasn’t exactly a comfortable tour.

"They’re both adults but they’re both oblivious," Ga-ram said. "I understand what you’re worried about and I think it’s a good idea." He turned to Kang-woo. "Even if his mind gets controlled by the raging desire, if the basics are etched into his mind, I’m sure he’ll do fine and not hurt Hwa."

As soon as Kang-woo heard that, he suddenly went down on his knees with his head bowed.

"What are you...?"

"Please help me." He said.

His pride as a man and alpha might restrict him the comfort of learning from others on what he had to do as a man but when thinking of thr possibility that he couldn’t hurt Hwa, his pride disappeared in an instant.

"I don’t want to hurt Hwa," He said. "I’ll do anything and I’ll learn carefully so please, help me."

Seeing him beg so earnestly, Woo-bin could only click his tongue. He couldn’t refuse him when he was spelling it out so body that it was for the good of their baby Hwa.

"See, you have a willing student ready to learn from you," Hae-won said, snickering to Woo-bin. "Won’t you take him in and teach him your ways?"

"Stop that, Yeobo, it’s embarrassing," Woo-bin said, his face slightly flushing and Hae-won laughed. "I’ll teach him so cut it out."

"Now that that’s settled," Lee Ga-ram said, helping Kang-woo up from the floor and back to his seat. "Let’s talk about something else."

"Something else? Like?"

"I wanted to call a meeting like this but it looked like Hae-won beat me to the punch, as always." Ga-ram said. "Anyway," his expression turned serious as he said, "I got a call from the doctor that treated Byul overseas," this information immediately spiked all their interests. "He said, concerning ’its’ possible reoccurrence and Byul’s life being in harms way once again... We don’t have to worry about it because it has passed the reoccurrence period so Byul is finally free from it."
