To Byul (Omegaverse)-Chapter 163: What if Woo-bin comes back?
Once she was gone, Hae-won dropped his back on the bed and sighed.
That’s three in one night. Was it that time already when they all worried so much about who they were going to spend the rest of their lives with?
He sighed once more. His kids were making him worry.
The door opened and Baek-Hyun walked in.
"Rough evening?" He asked and Hae-won nodded, stretching his hand to accept him into his arms on the bed.
"The kids have so much going on for them," Hae-won said as Baek-Hyun lay on the bed, dropping his head on Hae-won’s chest. "I think we’re going to be grandparents soon."
"Already?" Baek asked, but he didn’t sound too surprised.
With all the romance drama going on here and there, it wouldn’t be a surprise if someone suddenly announced they were pregnant.
It would be funny, though. Of course, if it was only related to the twins.
"Did Hwa come to you yet?" Baek-Hyun asked but Hae-won shook his head.
"No. He did say he wanted to talk to me about something but he said tomorrow morning." He stoked Baek-Hyun’s hair. "What are you guys hiding from me?"
Baek-Hyun went silent. He already promised Chin-hwa he would let him do the talking so he didn’t need to say it himself.
"Just wait a few more hours," he snuggled on Hae-won. "By the morning, you’ll hear it from him so be a bit patient,"
Hae-won wondered about that. What could it be? What could be so important that they were so tight-lipped?
As much as he was curious, he decided not to worry his mind too much. He was still recovering from his rush to meet the deadline of his book.
While resting, he shouldn’t use his brain too much.
"By the way, where’s Woo-bin?" Hae-won asked.
"I tricked him on an errand so he wouldn’t disturb this time we have together," Baek-Hyun said, smirking like the devil and Hae-won laughed. 𝒇𝒓𝙚𝒆𝔀𝓮𝓫𝒏𝓸𝙫𝓮𝓵.𝓬𝙤𝙢
"You two hurry up and grow up." He said. "It’s like you’ll never change no matter how many years pass by."
"Well, that’s a given." Baek-Hyun said. "What’s the use of changing, anyway? It’s not like we’re harming anyone like this."
"I guess you’re right. Better this than being cold, I guess." Hae-won said as he dug his fingers through Baek-Hyun’s hair.
Baek-Hyun locked eyes with him, hinting how much he wanted to go for Hae-won’s lips.
"Did you lock the door?" Hae-won suddenly asked, catching the hint but Baek-Hyun glanced at the door and back at him, saying,
"No,"
"What if Woo-bin comes back?"
"Don’t worry, I sent him ’really’ far." Baek-Hyun said and pushed himself forward to kiss Hae-won’s lips.
Hae-won brushed his hands through Baek-Hyun’s hair as they kissed deeply, but then the door slammed open, putting their action to a halt.
"I knew it," Woo-bin exclaimed, panting like a horse that had just ended a race as he pulled off his scarf that had a bit of snow in it. "You sent me on that away so you could have some quality time with Yeobo, didn’t you?"
Baek-Hyun clicked his tongue.
"Ah, you sent him ’really’ far, you say," Hae-won narrowed his eyes at Baek-Hyun who cleared his throat and said,
"He must’ve driven with the speed of light." Baek-Hyun got down from Hae-won and sat up, brushing his fingers through his hair. "Did you drive them safely?"
"Yes, I did." Woo-bin answered, entering the room looking exhausted. "I had to specifically drop a group of kids off at their houses, so of course, I drove safely. What do you take me for?"
And yet, they looked at him like he was unreliable.
"Oh, come on. I drove fast but safe." He sat on the bed and dropped his head on Baek-Hyun’s shoulder. "I’m tired and cold so let me rest a bit."
"You should take a hot bath," Hae-won suggested, resting his back on the headboard and hugging the pillow. "Have either of you taken your bath this evening,"
"Not yet." They both chorused.
"Then," he twiddled his toes, hinting he wanted to get up to something. "Wanna... shower together?"
Hm, it was a pretty unexpected offer but they did not take two seconds to think about it before ripping their shirts off and saying,
"Why not?"
Hae-won laughed. They were so gullible.
The next day, Chin-hwa woke up pretty early and resolved himself to finally talk to Hae-won about his heat.
He took in several deep breaths before going to Hae-won’s room and knocking on the door.
He knocked once but there was no response. On the second knock, he heard a response but it wasn’t Hae-won’s voice. It was Baek-Hyun.
’Hm, should I have come at a later time?’ he wondered. But he wasn’t sure he would still have this resolve if he delayed speaking about it with his mother.
The door opened, and he saw Baek-Hyun, who had quite the bad bed hair and a sleepy expression. He yawned,
"Baby, what is it?" He asked, resting his arm on the door frame.
"Well," Chin-hwa paused his lips. It was indeed a bad time. "Is mummy still asleep?" He asked and Baek-Hyun glanced back into the room to find Hae-won sitting up on the bed and scratching his neck.
Woo-bin stretched his hand towards him and pulled him back into the bed.
"Well, not anymore." He answered. "Is it about that talk?"
"Yes," Chin-hwa answered playing with his fingers. "But if you guys still need time to get out of bed, it’s fine. I’ll just wait."
"No, no need to wait." Baek-Hyun said. "It’s better to say it the earliest so your mind can finally be free." He turned around after tilting the door, thinking it would close, and then walked inside the room.
Hae-won was being tied down to the bed by Woo-bin who didn’t want him to get out of bed yet. Childish.
"Aein, can you stand?" He asked with a caring tone.
The door was slightly ajar so Chin-hwa could hear their conversation pretty closely even if he didn’t want to.
"It’s your fault, Baek." Woo-bin said. "You were going so hard like a wild dog in heat."
Baek-Hyun could not refute his accusations because he knew it was true. But then, it wasn’t like he was the only one who overdid it. They would only end up arguing like kids if they dragged each other now so he decided to stay silent and asked Hae-won,
"Can you stand?"
"Yeah, I’m fine, really. I’m the one who kept asking for you to do it harder. You know I like it rough," he said, not realizing that Chin-hwa was at the door. "Besides, I’m already used to this so don’t let what Woo-bin say get to you."
"Alright, then Hwa is outside and would like to have the talk now."
"Already?" Hae-won got up from the bed. He was wearing a big shirt belonging to one of the two and shorts.
He walked to the door and opened it, only told in Hwa blushing hard after hearing what he wasn’t supposed to hear.
Hae-won gulped. What did they say in front of their sweet innocent son?
"Hwa, are you... Okay?"
