Bloodmancer in the Jurassic Era: I use my Dinos to seduce Human mates-Chapter 245: Munchies
The steel-enforced path that pierced across the mountainside was nearly shaped like a dried up river. It wasn’t wide, it could barely fit eight people shoulder to shoulder, and much like a thin river, its depth was entirely predictable.
The depth of the path was as tall as two humans, and likewise, humans and other small creatures made the best use out of it, assuming they could climb in and out of the path. Big dinosaurs, such as the monstrous clones that Jimmy essentially created, weren’t meant to stride the pathway.
Luckily, the clones could all fly, so they didn’t have to walk across, or even close by to the pathway, and could just float over it instead.
Although there were many hills across the tip of the mountain, the depth of the pathway remained mostly the same, so whoever was small enough to walk the pathway, such as the set of enemy tribes, were within reach of the Compy clones, and alien apes.
Either types of clones were too big for their own good, so they simply had to reach into the pathway, and start chewing or swinging!
This was exactly what they did.
A few hundred meters past the tip of the rocky mountains, the clones heard the enemy. Contrary to Jimmy’s belief, they had not been camping, and were continuing their march!
The clones could not see well in the dark, but the enemy made the mistake of lighting torches, even though they were in a path that was nearly straight, and easy to follow. These cavemen were either dumber than suspected, or they were confident that nothing could stand in their path.
The alternative was that they didn’t expect to allure predatory dinosaurs this high up in the mountain. Either way, they gave their location away already.
The one Compy clone that had been taught, or re-taught what to do, flew forward at full speed, stuck his big snout within the steel-enforced pathway, and managed to grab a hold of a couple of cavemen!
In the melee, he knocked down plenty of others, breaking spines, and breaking the bones of the many fragile men and women in its way! Cavemen may be tough, but against a dinosaur that was ten times as tall, and perhaps over thirty times as heavy, they were like fragile dandelions. They could be broken down if stepped on.
The clones didn’t step on them, sure, but they did plenty of damage while airborne as well. Their mass did not change when they were given the ability to fly.
Once that one clone attacked, the rest of them, all forty-four of them, followed suit. They didn’t have a strategy, they didn’t have a plan, and just used raw strength to pierce through the enemy!
They followed their ’leader’ as if they were a hivemind, but the truth was, they didn’t even care enough to behave like a hivemind in its definition. They simply remembered what their purpose was, they remembered that they had to kill, and so that was what they did.
With the dark depths of the night, a pool of blood formed across the pathway, nearly mimicking a river at certain short moments, but the bodies that were either bitten in half, or broken beyond ’repair’ all together were the highlights of this horrible night.
The screams of the enemy, the many men and women who bit more than they could chew without even realizing it, reverberated across the mountainside.
The Compies spread across the pathway, so they could get a mouthful of the enemy. At this point, it looked like they were developing a strategy of their own, but no, it was just brute strength mixed with the need to chew!
The twelve-foot tall alien apes flew around for a little while, but they got bored of swinging their large, muscular arms around mid-air. For that matter, they dropped down into the long, ditch-like pathway, grounded themselves, and then started swinging!
"I am hungry!" Two of the apes hollered, in their own alien language. "Hungry!"
The apes charged forward, their large, muscular arms jerked upwards so they could charge up an attack.
Using their size to their advantage, they then swung their large arms downwards, and smashed whoever stood in their path!
One of the apes smashed seven men and women in one go, using the aforementioned attack, and then used the momentum to use his arms like a spring, and leap into the crowd.
The enemy were stashed within the mountain, close to one another like sardines, so the ape had no trouble finding targets to pounce on!
Weighing at four-hundred kilos, or close to nine-hundred pounds, the ape had no trouble crushing several enemies to death as he landed on them. He either crushed their spine, neck, shoulders, or all of the above, before he started swinging!
"Hahaha!" The ape exclaimed, as he held two men upwards, and on his hands like trophies, before he crushed their spines, and stuffed one of them in the wide-open mouth in his stomach. "Yummy..."
The cavemen close by, who grew half a mind to understand what was going on, attacked, and tossed their spears towards the ape. They couldn’t dare to walk closer, they were scared, perhaps they were even traumatized, so all they could do was try and keep their distance, and use the spears they had stashed on their make-shift backpack, made out of dinosaur skin.
While some of the cavemen tried to crawl out of the twelve-foot deep pathway, and try to disappear somewhere within the tip of the rocky mountainside, the cavemen who were brave enough to at least try and fight back, hurled their spears with all their might!
The first ape on the line was struck with spears twenty-two times already! Some stuck on his skin, one-foot deep at average, while some spears even passed through him, but regardless of that fact, he was in a sense, a super ape!
Normal apes, or gorillas, specifically, were dangerous enough on their own, but a guy his size, not to mention alien, was all the more dangerous! Menacing, even!
"Hahaha!" He hollered, as his lust for blood increased exponentially, higher than what it was already at. "Puny hairless apes!"
After absorbing the many spears, the ape then charged forward at full speed, fists on the ground, nearly galloping like a horse, he caught up with some of the enemies who tried to distance themselves from him, and simply smashed into the crowd like a bowling ball, mowing down the ’pins’ rather than just knocking them over!
It took a while for his momentum to be slowed down, and halted all together. He killed at least thirty people on his own by now, and injured a bunch of others.
Once halted on the spot, stuck between either the living, or a bundle of bodies that he had ’slightly’ crushed, he started swinging.
His fists barely landed on the enemies, as he was knocking them over with his tree-trunks of forearms, crushing them into the sides of the pathways as if he wanted to strengthen the pathway with a new layer, a foundation of bones!
He kept swinging, but the blood loss he experienced from all the spear wounds got to him eventually. He started feeling tired, and ran out of breath. His moves turned sloppy.
All of a sudden, his world went dark!
One of the howling cavemen gathered the infinite wisdom to aim at the ape’s head.
This particular caveman had Dinosaur Strength too, and at just the right moment, even if tens of corpses late, he shot the ape through his mouth, knocking him out! The ape died of shock.
"What the fuck are these thing!?" The same caveman shouted. "Is this why no one crossed the mountain before?"
Their fears were valid, their confusion even more so, but the fact of the matter was that this horrible battle had only just begun! With four more apes standing, and forty Compies too, flying across the mountainside like free spirits, the enemy had quite a problem on their hands! A terrifying one at that, so no one had time to ask questions, and simply wanted to survive.
The four apes had long leaped above, or around the first one in the line, the first victim, and they were smashing through the enemy already. They had been doing so for a few minutes, and in the melee, they suffered many wounds as well.
"Aim for the head!" One caveman shouted, many times over, up until his voice that was drowned by the crowd of panicking men and women, finally surfaced. "The head!"
The apes who were swinging left and right, and got creative enough to toss some of the cavemen up towards the sky as if they were baseballs, reached a point where they were being targeted significantly.
The cavemen and women within their vicinity, now paid little attention to the flying dinosaurs, and essentially spammed their spears against the apes.
With around three-hundred of their own people killed, they could not afford arsing around like inattentive, spooked fools, and had to ’erase’ their problems one at a time!
