"It was all your fault from the get-go."

When they were still in college, He-Nari had actually experienced his first heat but he did not inform anyone about it. That is, he did not inform his family or his friends.

He thought he could handle it by just going through the pain of the heat fever in silence.

But Deok-ryu was headed to his house that day and since he usually went in without knocking, he discovered Nari was in heat.

He did not want others to find out, so the only ones who knew were Deok-ryu and Si-woo, who had entered the house right after.

Deok-ryu was confused and worried since Nari was in pain, so he suggested helping him. As soon as he did, Nari wanted to accept it since he would rather share his first heat with Deok-ryu but then he thought of so many things at that point.

Deok-ryu was someone who only listened to what he wanted to listen to. If they did that, there would be no going back and no matter how much Nari tried, he may never believe that his feelings were sincere.

He was such a stubborn mule.

So, instead, he asked Si-woo for help. Si-woo was shocked but knew went with him anyway.

It was only after Deok-ryu left that Nari explained to Si-woo that she was so in love with Deok-ryu that it was driving him mad.

He told her his worries and why he did not let Deok-ryu help him.

"So, are you okay with having your first with me?"

"I’ll be okay if it’s just your Pheromones," Nari said. "I’m sorry to put this on you, Si-Si. I really am."

He was in pain but trying his best to make the most rational decisions like he would always do. He didn’t want to experience regret in his life. He was already seeing how it was going with Chin-hwa, so instead of that, he would keep pressing forward with Deok-ryu till he finally believed his feelings for him.

So, on Mark’s first heat, he took just a Pheromone shower. It was hard for Si-Si most especially because she had to struggle with her own feelings, and desires and try not to let lust take over her mind while enveloped in Nari’s heat Pheromones, and all while releasing Pheromones in excess and helping He-Nari jerk off.

It was from that point she knew that no matter what she did, she would never be able to win Nari’s heart so she decided to do what she could to help him with his happiness.

That much she could do.

But it wasn’t like it didn’t hurt. She just happened to be the bigger person.

’Ryu-Ryu is honestly such a dumbass. What does Nari see in him?’ she wondered but there was no way one could understand another heart simply by wondering about it.

"So, you didn’t do it with her?" Deok-ryu asked and He-Nari sighed.

"No, we didn’t have sex if that’s what you’re asking." Nari said. "I told Si-Si I was into you,"

Deok-ryu was still not convinced.

"Do you still not get it?" Nari asked in annoyance. "You’re such a dumbo when you’re not thinking of Hwa. It’s as simple as I said. I didn’t want our relationship to be based off lightly like that. I didn’t want you to tell me that my feelings were fleeting and they were not real, whereas I have had these feelings for almost a decade. Ugh."

He started liking Deok-ryu in their first year of high school and had been trying to convince him since then, but for some reason, Deok-ryu never took it seriously and took it as a joke.

From then on, no matter how what Nari said, it was as if Deok-ryu had programmed it to be a silly remark or a joke in passing. It was so annoying to Nari but he just had to come up with something strong enough to convince him.

"No matter how many times I told you," Nari slowly slid his hand over Deok-ryu’s chest. "No matter how many times I said I liked you and wanted to date you, you brushed it off as a joke. Do you know how painful it feels to have your feelings taken so lightly?"

Deok-ryu began to think back to all the times He-Nari said something like that to him.

It started at the flower garden in their high school, and then the robot convention, their high school graduation, following their hot spring visit, their first Christmas Eve as freshmen, the water fountain adorned with beautiful lights at the back of their school, and following all other instances.

And with each confession, Nari seemed to get angry at his reaction, when he brushed it as a joke. How did he never see it?

Even when Nari tried to act intimate, he never thought much of it and thought he was just fooling around.

So, all that was real? And he had been the fool who disregarded his feelings every single time?

His heart thumped. He was feeling so guilty. He had no idea. No idea that He-Nari would genuinely have such feelings for him.

They had grown up together and done everything together so even sincerity felt like a joke.

"I... I’m sorry, Nari." Deok-ryu apologized. "I had no idea and did things like that. It must’ve been awful, wasn’t it? I promise I didn’t plan to make you feel that way; I just..."

"You didn’t know." Nari completed his words for him. "I know. If you did, you wouldn’t have been able to hide it from me but it’s so annoying that you didn’t know when after how many times I tried to tell you."

"Sorry," Deok-ryu looked flustered.

It looked like he had finally come to terms with it.

"Now that you understand, can you let me confess like a normal person?" He asked.

"What do you mean?" Deok-ryu asked and Nari smirked.

"I mean, I’m going to take my time telling you how I feel," he pushed Deok-ryu back and he fell on the bed.

"What are you doing?" Deok-ryu asked.

"What do you mean?" Nari responded, getting in the bed as well. He climbed on top of Deok-ryu and placed his hand on his chest. "We’re both adults, so even if you’re a bit dumb to someone’s feelings, you can’t tell me you don’t understand body language."

Deok-ryu gulped. He wasn’t going to what he was thinking, right?

"Yes, it’s exactly what you’re thinking." Nari answered as if he had read his mind. "Right here, right now, I don’t care if I have to force you into this or rather, ’seduce’ you, but I’m going to make you claim me as yours."

Deok-ryu gulped. He knew Nari had a tendency to get forceful if things weren’t going his way, but he didn’t think he would also do that in regard to adult stuff.

Did he even know what he was doing? He wanted him to claim him?

Wasn’t the sequence like this? Confession, acceptance, dating, and getting to know each other (you guys alright, know plenty of each other), and then having sex?

Why did they skip the entire lace after the confession and get to the sex part?

He was still surprised by the turn of events and didn’t even get the chance to understand his own feelings. Was he okay with Nari? Could he come to love him like a partner? Could he have sex with him?

Okay, all that was a ’yes’. They even played family when they were younger, and he happened to be the husband countless times, so he’d already imagined what it would be like to start a family with Nari a couple of times, and he had such a great body now, too.

His hand was on his waist and his skin was so smooth and tender. How could he not want to have sex with him? But then it would feel like he was only after him for his body so his conscience wouldn’t rest easy.

He could simply just go with the flow, but he felt they were rushing things way too much.

"Nari, hold on. We planned a surprise celebration for Chin-hwa, so we can’t do this now. Can we reschedule?"

"No, I know you’ll avoid me for as long as you can if I let you go now." Nari said. "We’ll have to do it now so you won’t have the conscience to run from me. You’ll have to take responsibility for me."

Just then, the lights went off for a moment and the door opened. Nari made sure to hold Deok-ryu down so he wouldn’t escape but then who came into the room?

Was it Si-woo?

Then, the lights came back on, and they were faced with Myung-woo and Yun-tae, who had sneaked inside on Myung-woo’s insistence.

The sight was truly not something he had expected to see but it was quite amusing.

"Wow, I never thought you’d get the hint, you unromantic blockhead who only thinks about his baby brother," Myung-woo said and tilted his head. "Or did He-Nari do all the work... again?"
