Tiny Genius Alert! Mom & Dad Better Make Peace-Chapter 370 - 354: Don’t Speak Ill of Her in Front of Me (Part 2 of 4)
"Uh..." Jin Jumo looked at her in confusion.
Yue Jingcheng said nothing more, glanced at Xixi and Hanhan, and then stood up to walk upstairs.
Jin Jumo frowned, turning her head to watch her figure walk upstairs.
Aunt Tao, emerging from the kitchen at some unknown time, looked at Yue Jingcheng’s thin back and said with a tone of sympathy, "Ma’am, the flowers in the garden have bloomed, aren’t you going to take a look? Your favorite peonies."
"I’m a bit tired, Aunt Tao, I’ll look at them later." Yue Jingcheng didn’t turn her head back.
Aunt Tao wanted to say something but caught a glimpse of Jin Jumo and swallowed her words.
Standing for a few seconds, Aunt Tao looked at Jin Jumo and said, "Miss Jin, breakfast has been warmed up. Please take the children to the dining room, and I’ll bring it out shortly."
As Aunt Tao spoke, her gaze lingered for a moment on Xixi and Hanhan’s faces before she turned back into the kitchen.
Jin Jumo glanced up towards the third floor, then led Xixi and Hanhan to the dining room.
Sitting on the chairs before the dining table with the little ones in her arms, Jin Jumo left the dining room and went to the kitchen.
Aunt Tao, holding a pot of porridge, was slightly startled upon seeing Jin Jumo enter, "Miss Jin, you..."
"I’ll help you," Jin Jumo smiled at her and took the porridge from her hands.
Aunt Tao, somewhat apprehensive, hurriedly placed sugar buns and hot dogs on the table and followed closely behind Jin Jumo.
"Aunt Tao, where’s my brother?" Jin Jumo asked Aunt Tao as she placed the porridge on the table.
Brother?
Aunt Tao was stunned and looked at Jin Jumo in confusion.
Seeing the puzzled look on her face, Jin Jumo’s brow twitched lightly, and she laughed, "I meant Mr. Mu."
A strange light flickered in Aunt Tao’s eyes, and after a pause, she replied, "The young master went to the company. Is there anything you need?"
"No," Jin Jumo shook her head, passing by her to get the remaining side dishes from the kitchen.
Aunt Tao watched Jin Jumo moving around naturally, as if this were her own home, feeling a slight displeasure, though she didn’t show it.
It wasn’t until Jin Jumo went to the kitchen again for a small bowl that Aunt Tao suddenly intercepted it from her hands, saying, "These tasks are for us servants to do. Miss Jin is the distinguished guest of our young master; how can we let you handle these? Please sit, and I’ll get you whatever you need."
Jin Jumo was stunned, watching as Aunt Tao quickly walked into the dining room with the small bowl.
After a while, Jin Jumo suddenly curled her lips into a smile, about to head towards the dining room when a wave of dizziness swept over her unexpectedly.
Feeling uncomfortable, Jin Jumo frowned, swaying twice before falling to the ground.
Before losing consciousness, Jin Jumo seemed to hear a rush of footsteps approaching.
Before Jin Jumo completely fell to the floor, an arm caught her in time.
Yue Jingcheng’s breathing was a bit rushed. Though she caught Jin Jumo, she was unavoidably too frail, with limited strength, and both of them ended up collapsing onto the floor. 𝐟𝕣𝗲𝕖𝕨𝗲𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝗲𝚕.𝗰𝚘𝐦
But Jin Jumo was on top, and she was underneath.
The commotion outside the dining room was too loud, and Aunt Tao hurried out in a panic.
She saw Yue Jingcheng lying on the floor looking uncomfortable, while Jin Jumo was directly passed out on top of her.
Aunt Tao’s face turned pale with fright and she rushed over, her voice trembling, "Ma’am, Miss Jin..."
Aunt Tao reached out to try to support Jin Jumo.
However, Yue Jingcheng spoke with difficulty, "Aunt Tao, don’t help, call an ambulance... never mind, just have Uncle Sun drive to the hospital."
"Alright, alright."
Aunt Tao, with reddened eyes, ran hastily outside to call Uncle Sun.
Mu Group’s office tower, the 64th-floor executive office.
"The gala is scheduled for three days from now at the Afei Royal Hotel. Journalists and media from all over the world will attend, and LED screens in major cities around the world will broadcast the event live. If there is anything else you require, feel free to ask." Shen Yizhi smiled lightly, looking at Mu Qinnian, who was smoking beside him.
Mu Qinnian squinted through the swirling smoke, his voice hoarse, "Requirements... I do have one."
"What is it?"
"Invite a person for me."
"Who?"
"The person who will have to respectfully call me brother-in-law in the future!"
"Uh..."
