Thrown Into A New World: Let The Punishment Begin!-Chapter 845
Chapter 845: A Fool
Yvonne frowned when this information she had read in the past resurfaced in her mind.
In the script, it was mentioned that the three villainesses who stood up against the union between the Crown Prince and his beloved woman were disposed of through the power of true love.
Princess Felicia was sent away to a neighboring kingdom where she was set to be married to the King there.
After the incident that Yvonne had just recalled, it was mentioned in the script that Young Lady Glennise Brodie was found guilty of conspiring to drug the Crown Prince so that she might be able to take advantage of him in his drunken daze.
For this crime, she was stripped of her title as the Duke’s only daughter, the one thing she was most proud of, and was left to wander around the streets of Rosenhyde as a commoner for the rest of her life.
Finally, Yvonne St. Claire, who had become Grand Duchess Yvonne Roschester after her marriage, had been put on house arrest after her attempt to poison the Crown Princess candidate during their tea time together.
The servants of the Grand Duke’s mansion were witnesses to the crime she had committed and without even getting an opportunity to make her defense, she was punished right away.
.....
A few months after her punishment had begun, the people had already forgotten about the wicked Grand Duchess since something new had attracted their attention.
They were busy admiring the lady who had been at the lowest position of being a Baron’s daughter but had managed to climb her way to the highest seat and become the official Crown Princess of the Kingdom.
She would soon be crowned the Queen when the Prince ascended to the Throne and everyone in the Kingdom would have to bow down before her.
When they were rejoicing at this joyous occasion, a solemn news reached the ears of the general populace.
The Grand Duchess who had been placed under house arrest had not been able to cope with her current circumstances and had developed an illness that deteriorated her health rapidly.
In a matter of months, she had lost her life due to this illness.
Since the Kingdom was still in a joyful atmosphere, her funeral had been held in a low-profile manner, with very few people attending it.
Everything was completed without drawing too much attention from the people and thus came the end of Grand Duchess Yvonne Roschester, whom most believed had reaped the fruits of her sins.

Recalling how little effort the Bird God had put in while writing about the miserable endings of the three ladies, Yvonne could not help but grit her teeth.
The Princess was shipped away by her elder brother to a place where she knew no one at all.
Since she did not support his decision to be with Lady Hilda, he had gotten rid of her through this method.
Based on what she recalled, after the initial resistance from the King when Prince Fritzen just started chasing Lady Hilda, not much was mentioned about the ruler of the Kingdom.
After she had obtained the love of the people through the efforts put in by the two male leads from the shadows, the King did not have any further reason to object to their union.
Especially after his younger brother, the Grand Duke, had spoken in her favor as well.
While the Queen was still displeased about her obedient son becoming reckless and blinded by love, she could not voice out her opinions on this matter as there were so many people who seemed to like Lady Hilda.
It was a well-known fact even in the script that the Queen disliked her daughter but pampered her son excessively so she did not care about how the Princess ended up.
However, there was something that Yvonne could not wrap her head around.
‘How did the King get talked into letting his daughter be shipped away to some different Kingdom?’ She frowned as this was something unusual to her.
Though it was common for Princesses to be sent as collaterals to different Kingdoms to improve political relationships between the two lands, the King’s extraordinary and immense love for his daughter was also unquestionable.
One of the major reasons why the Princess along with her playmates were able to go unchecked for so long was due to the King’s protective nature.
He turned a blind eye towards her actions yet had allowed her to be sent away so easily?
Yvonne found something suspicious in his behavior towards the end of the script.
However, she had no way of knowing as the ending was mainly focused on how Prince Fritzen and Lady Hilda had overcome numerous obstacles to finally become a couple.
The others were mere side characters who, after having served their purpose, were forgotten about entirely.
The Prince and his lady love lived happily under the protection of the Grand Duke who silenced his yearning heart and watched them from the sidelines.
The King and Queen were non-existent after they had given their blessings to the couple, either wholeheartedly or with dissatisfaction buried in their hearts, no one would know.
The three villainesses were taken care of by punishing each one according to the crime they had committed.
After all, how could the Prince and Grand Duke let go of the people who had offended and harmed the woman they loved?
Yvonne felt a wave of disgust rising in her heart when she recalled this part of the script.
It was heavily implied that the two men were involved in incidents that took place after the crimes of the villainesses came to light.
The Bird God had simply brushed it off by mentioning that the three ladies had borne the consequences of their evil actions and this was exactly what they deserved.
One was the blood-related sister and niece that they had sent away without remorse.
Another was the girl they had watched grow up right before their eyes, the only daughter of the man who had supported King Ophire throughout his life and later even helped Prince Fritzen secure his position as the Crown Prince.
Finally was the girl who had become related to them through marriage.
With no sympathy, they had dealt with them, punishing them, ruining their future, and it was all for the sake of the woman they had been close to just for a few years at most.
‘Did that scum of a man not feel even an ounce of guilt when he worked so hard to punish his lawful wife so that he might support the woman hidden in his heart?’ Yvonne glowered at the thought that she would have been forced to marry such a man if she had not taken matters into her hands.
If she was in the position of ‘Yvonne’ from the script and had experienced the same incidents happening to her then she would have been burning in the flames of anger and humiliation each time she saw her husband running after another woman. 𝘧𝔯e𝗲𝙬ℯ𝙗𝓷o𝘷e𝗹.𝐜𝑜𝒎
The fact that she had died in the script after being imprisoned in the Grand Duke’s mansion did not come as a surprise to her.
She too would have been depressed if she went through such trauma which could gnaw away at anyone’s will to live.
The mysterious sickness could have easily sucked away her life due to her already depleted vitality in such a situation.
Thankfully, she had taken measures to avoid such a pitiful future and hoped that things would continue to move in the direction she was planning for.
‘Scum!’ She cursed once again, her face reflecting her contempt before she tossed the thoughts of that absurdly foolish man out of her mind.

In a Palace not far from the St. Claire mansion, a certain Prince grimaced when he bit his tongue while speaking.
The two men standing before him paused and waited to see if he was alright.
Prince Draco’s face scrunched up in pain as he had bit himself too hard and now his tongue was beginning to swell.
“Someone must be cursing the Master,” Sigma muttered this well-known superstition then scoffed at whoever it was for daring to commit such insolence.
However, Horace shook his head immediately to reject the statement his fellow knight had made.
Sigma and Horace were two of the best Black shadow knights and also the Prince’s secret guards so they could speak freely before him at times.
After hearing Sigma’s words, Prince Draco’s attention had shifted from his stinging tongue which now moved to Horace next.
“My mother always said that if you bite your tongue while speaking, you will soon kiss a fool.” The second guard coughed as he recounted the old wives’ tale he often heard his mother say when he was young.
