Chapter 579: Babarian mode.

"Vampire!!" Alix exclaimed.

She had watched enough vampire movies to know one when she saw it. Of all the creatures or prisoners she expected to see behind the impenetrable walls of this prison, a vampire was not one.

They were not real for heaven sake!!! However, this game simulated real worlds, real creatures, so they were real...or were they? Alix was momentarily shot with a bullet of confusion.

Before she could respond with a determined no. Dark Death put her hand on the lock.

As the door to the containment cell opened, Alix switched to barbarian mode immediately and her size increased significantly. If Caishen could see her, he would finally see the real sister hulk in action.

It was not the most attractive look but she figured this was a strength vs strength battle.

In the movies, vampires had superhuman strength, speed and....what else? Their eyes...they could charm with their eyes.

But, this one had used it’s voice. Was that also a vampire thing?

She always though vampire movies were silly and never paid much attention. She did know about garlic and holy water plus stakes.

She put away the club that she had chosen as a weapon and decided to try a two sided big axe. Cutting off his head would be a wiser option.

In her mind, Majesty was noisy and excited. "Alright, let the massacre begin, it should rain blood for this king."

She swept her foot outwards and caught the enchanted Dark Death off guard, sending her falling to the ground. The knock woke up the woman out of her slumber.

Alix didn’t have to waste, she was not going to have her blood sucked out. The vampire was already attacking, lunging at her with fangs out and claws extended. Her defensive instincts set in and she swung the axe out, sending the vampire back with sheer strength alone, achieving her first successful hit.

Dark Death did not give the creature a break, she threw out knives swiftly with the plan of trapping it on the wall.

With all this commotion, the other prisoners were strangely silent. Alix didn’t know why and now was not the time to figure it out. The creature was attacking her again.

She let out a thunderous roar which reverberated through the dungeon and leaped up to meet the creature half way.

With sheer brute force, she swung the axe again, and the creature moved to dodge. Dark Death was waiting with her long chain. When Alix’s axe missed, she caught one of it’s legs and pulled it down.

Alix swung her axe downward, cutting the vampires body in half from head to toe. The body turned into drops of body that floated up and vanished.

"Ha!, that was easy." Dark Death had a triumphant smile on her face as pulled her chain back.

Alix did not respond to the declaration of ease with which they had killed the vampire. The loot had arrived, she wanted to see what killing a vampire could get you in the game.

Blood amulet.....*1

Charm stone...*2

Bloodsucker blood vial....*1

Gold coins...*100

Fake death spell.....1

She put the loot away and gestured to Dark Death. They had to keep going.

[Congratulations on killing your first bloodsucker. For the rest of this level, you are to kill as many blood suckers as you can find until you reach their Lord the Night walker. If you kill Lord Night walker you automatically pass this level.]

Both of them received this notification and they looked at each other. Did this make things easier or harder. They had to weed through all sorts of monsters and criminals looking for only blood suckers. Would it be simple?

If the system was here, she would have a real time location of lord Night walker and the could clear the first level in a day.

"What kind of new setting is this? This prison has over one hundred floors and about three million containment cells, not to mention the open areas for prisoners that cannot be contained. How are we supposed to find blood suckers?" Dark Death whined.

She had really been quick in opening her mouth to declare this level easy. But when she remembered how easily Alix always located final bosses, she cheered up.

She pulled on Alix’s shirt and looked at her with stars in her eyes.

"Boss, do you have a clue?"

"Let’s go."

She had a cat that was boiling with lust for blood. Of course it knew where to find the final boss but it would not be giving her answers easily like the system. It wanted to see blood rain first.

Alix tightened her hands around the axe and forged ahead for five hours. By the time she left the gaming world, she had accumulated another small pile of wealth. Sleepy as she was finally, she fell asleep at the desk. Majesty slept off as well, laying on top of the laptop as if it was his personal possession.

*********

When she opened her eyes the following day, Majesty was waiting by her side with an eager look in his eyes. It looked like he was ready to continue.

Slaughtering close to a hundred blood suckers and thirty other monsters had not been enough for him.

"No, i have a headache." she turned him down gently.

The cat was persistent, and he grabbed onto her.

"Don’t you need my help? You should take it when i am offering."

She looked around, the room was empty. Caishen had left behind a note informing her that he had gone swimming with some of her brothers.

He had left behind ready breakfast for her, all she needed to do was warm it. Alix got the food, warmed it with her dragon breath and logged in to the virtual world.

She was on day two, it was best to take advantage of the little cat ancestor when he was still willing to help. It would be a big shame for her to be kicked out at the first level.

She returned to the dark tunnels which she didn’t like. In this round, she was on her own because Dark Death was not online.

A chill passed through her and she looked up.

"There is not even a single ray of the sun down here." she muttered.

She activated a lamp and bright light was emitted. Not far from her was a little skeleton wielding a bone knife. It sort of hissed hostilely as soon as it saw her and raised it’s hand.

Looking at small shriveled put together of bones threatening her was more funny than scary. It was like a baby attacking her with candy.

Alix rolled her eyes and got a hammer which she had not used before. It was large and delivered a brutal hit when used.

"Perfect, i will begin my day by turning you into bone dust."

She roared and lifted the hammer. Just as it was coming down on the little skeleton she heard the voice of the blue smurf in her head.

"I am back."
