Chapter 577: Another world, already!!

At night, Alix was sleepless. She had too many troubles to be sleeping, her mind just wouldn’t relax enough. Not even the anti anxiety gum helped.

A part of her envied Caishen that was sleeping so easily with a little smile on his face in fact.

She did not want to disturb him so she decided to go out flying over the forest in the hidden city. It was one of the places she was curious about because the creatures there were not ordinary.

She flew out through the window and headed in the direction of the many thick trees. Half-way through the journey, she had a change of heart and turned around. Instead of exploring the forest, there were other ways to spend her time, like playing the game. She just had to make sure that she did not die.

Inside the room again, she got her laptop out and put on all of her equipment. It was time to face that deadly fifth world which was full of death.

"Wait, snacks."

She planned to play for as long as she could so she needed snacks. Alix arranged them on the table, cracked her knuckles and them dove into the game.

To her greatest surprise, the fifth world was already locked.

[Fifth world closed, please proceed to the next world.]

"Huh!" she was drawn back by surprise.

When was the fifth world closed and what happened? She had been so busy lately and afraid to connect to the game because of her pregnancy. Such a big had happened without her knowledge. She had really come to depend on the elf so much that every notification from game that she got came from it.Who could she blame but herself.

She took a sip of some lemonade and moved on to the sixth world. Alix had a feeling that she was already late to the party, others had beaten her to it already.

The sixth world was already open indeed. There was no video introducing it or explaining the details about it, just one sentence.

{Welcome to the prison dungeons of Moklor.]

Her passion was ignited the moment she saw the word dungeon. Now this was another kind of game she loved, slaughtering monsters in dungeons.

"Dark death, are you online?"

A dungeon game was not the kind one usually played solo, she preferred to team up so she had to look for her partner in victory.

First, she had to choose which class she was going to play. Her mind went to warrior first, it would guarantee her high health and she could wield a variety of weapons. It had already been claimed however. All available warrior classes were gone, mage class had been claimed, thief was claimed, priest was taken, ranger was gone.

"Ah, did they take everything?"

She scrolled up and checked the instructions realizing that each player could claim two classes on this world.

"No wonder almost everything is gone."

Paladins had been claimed.

"Bard!!" she closed her eyes briefly and crossed her fingers.

When she opened her eyes, two bards were left for claiming and she chose one immediately. Less that two seconds later, the other was also claimed.

Alix gasped, it was really a marathon it seemed and she had almost missed it. There was no time to rest, she had to pick a second class immediately.

The only classes available with options were druid, necromancer and barbarian. She knew she didn’t have a lot of time to waste before making a choice. Rather than analyze strengths of each character, she analyzed their weaknesses.

Luckily she had played all these classes before and if it was anything similar, she knew what she didn’t want. Druids could be limited in transformations. Necromancer spells were unpredictable and often fragile. Barbarians had no magic.

One of the available druids was claimed while she was thinking. Not to delay further, Alix chose barbarian immediately.

Her chosen classes locked in and she was kicked out to prevent any changes if she suddenly decided she wanted another class.

"Ho!, they are so strict." she muttered.

She had no plans to change her mind, barbarian was excellent at combat, had a high resistance to damage, could deal massive damage to an opponent and she could still wield the swords or any other weapon she preferred. In short, it was brutal and efficient.

As for the magic, the bard could make up for it so she was satisfied with her choices.

Dark death had not replied so as she waited for a response, she went to the forum to search for information on what had happened on the sixth world.

Navigating the gaming world without the blue smurf giving out orders was quite different. She had to find information on her own and read everything word by word. Her speed had been cut down a great degree.

She perused through every conversation on the forum, looking for the the word fifth. It took her a while but she found it after searching for six minutes.

When she clicked on the details of the conversation, all the details had been erased.

"What is this?" she whispered.

She decided to keep searching but every chat she found was the same. All information on the fifth world was gone. Alix put on her thinking cap and started analyzing what had possibly happened.

The minimum three hundred hours the players had been given had not been exhausted. This meant nobody had won the final prize. Her amateur detective brain came ti the conclusion that something had gone wrong on the fifth world itself.

With all the warnings the blue smurf had given her, it was the only conclusion she could come to. The question on her mind now was what exactly had happened?

"Any way, let’s forget it for now and see what we have here."

Someone had been kind enough to provide information on this world but at a cost which she paid gladly. Without the system, she had to use money now to buy information.

"Aah, wake up." she cried out softly.

The pinch of paying currency for information was really felt to the depth of her core.

[There are three levels of dungeons, you must kill a final boss on each level or capture a wanted monster in order to advance to the next level. Once you start the game, you have five days to clear each level. After five days, if you are still stuck on the same level, you will be disqualified from moving further.]

"Tch, how can someone charge fifty coins for this little information." she muttered.

It was barely information at all. The game itself should have told them this, the developers were really cheating them.

The system had ruined Alix and she was reluctant to begin playing. The five day deadline for each level was really tight.

Without the system, would she make it? She had become so used to easy victory that struggle was new to her. Was this how other players felt all the time?

She shook herself out of the foolishness and dependency. "No, no, you must learn to do things on your own."

She left the forum and was directed to three boxes marked one, two and three, with instructions that said click here to enter on one. Her fingers hovered it, hesitant, unsure.
