The Young master's fake bride and her lucky system-Chapter 566: A long pregnancy.

By the time Caishen rushed out to catch up, Alix was gone. He did not get far either because the Tai brothers came after him like a pack of hyenas and dragged him back. The sight of Xiaobo activating a rocking horse which Alix had given him did not escape his eyes.

He was busy showing off, without a single thought to anything else. He was so comfortable like this was his own home. Caishen couldn’t help thinking that they should just change his name to Tai Xiaobo.

"What did our sister mean?"

Where is the red tailed fox?"

"It’s a six tailed fox Fong, you just talk without thinking."

"Don’t forget red, red tailed...no, red six tailed fox."

Caishen groaned the way Alix had done many times on that day. The sudden bombardment of questions one after the other suddenly reminded him of where he was; the Tai house, with Alix’s many brothers that were quite talkative.

He surrendered and he was dragged back to the dining room, instead of sitting around the dining table, they moved to the bar. Caishen, had another glass of wine, chugging the entire drink down in two large sips before filling them in on the story of weather boy, the rain and the attacks.

When he came to a stop, most of them were checking the bureau website for information while Ho Sun and Haoyu opened the nearest window and looked up at the sky which was pouring rain down mercilessly.

Tai Ho Sun’s face was dark and he was scowling. From everything they heard, things were a lot more dangerous than they thought. Perhaps this light rain was like the calm before the storm.

In their sisters’ current condition, they agreed with Caishen that it was not safe for her to be out there, fighting all sorts of system hosts. They needed to protect her, but against system hosts, they were not equipped to take on such a battle.

"We need systems." Ho Sun calmly said.

Haoyu nodded. "I agree, but we are not completely hopeless without them. Don’t they have a hidden city with so many weapons. As investors in the bureau, we can request for weapons for now. I know i would not mind owning a few guns like the ones sister has."

"Or the grenades." Tai Haoyu laughed.

His laugh was brief and the darkness returned to his face rather quickly. He looked at the sky once again and then the time, Alix had been gone for twenty two minutes precisely.

What was taking so long for the attack to be fended off? Why were they allowing a pregnant woman to fight in the first place. What if she was kicked in the abdomen, or shot, or stabbed.

"Do you think she is doing okay out there?"

Tai Haoyu sighed, he could not lie and give a perfunctory assurance. He suddenly came to the realization that the worry they experienced because they had a sister now was going to multiply when they had nieces?

"Ho Sun, do you think we should look up all female child care centers, kindergartens, middle schools, high schools, universities." He put a finger to his lips and made a hissing sound for a few seconds. "We should probably form a branch of the company for women only and...hmph!"

A slap to the back of his head stopped him from talking and he glared at his brother.

"What did you do that for?"

"To stop you from talking nonsense. All female child care centers, kindergartens, universities!!! have you lost your mind? Are you planning to raise our nieces as nuns? You might as well send them to a temple immediately after Alix puts to birth."

"Hmph!" Tai Haoyu turned his nose up at his brother. "What is so bad about about protecting them from wolves? Ho Sun, with our sister’s good looks, our nieces will be the most good looking girls in the world. We must stop the wolves at the door quickly before they are deceived.

We must also make sure that they are happy all the days of their lives. The Zhang family has a tradition of matchmaking their daughters and marrying them off to grow their connections. Even though we can trust our brother-in-law, how do we know that cunning first elder will not betroth our nieces?"

Ho Sun found Haoyu a little too similar to their grandfather in that moment. In fact, it was not just him today, everyone had already leaped to the conclusion that Alix was having female babies.

His mother, grandmother and aunts were already buying little dresses and shoes. Even his dad and uncles had joined in the madness.

If Alix gave birth to boys, what would happen to the bows, hair ribbons, tiaras, tutus and other items like those.

"You are jumping to conclusions like grandpa, what if she gives birth to nephews?"

Grandpa Tai walked up on them and he looked outside, all around and then up at the sky. There was not a single thing to see, it was still raining.

He pointed his phone at his grandsons and warned them. "Close the window, if your sister falls ill because of the cold wind what will you do? Are you trying to kill my precious great granddaughters before they arrive?"

He turned around and saw Tai Bo smoking a cigar.

"Hey, Tai Bo, how dare you smoke inside the house? Are you trying to kill my great grand babies? Tai Change, don’t think i have not seen you as well." He bellowed and marched in their direction like a general on a mission.

He was still barking orders, and accusing everyone of attempting to kill his great granddaughters.

The two brothers had no choice but to close the window and watch their grandfather hinder everyone’s fun time. Even the wine was being packed away by maids and replaced with juice or soda.

This was being done on the orders of grandma Tai because Alix mentioned the smell of wine irritating her.

Chairman Tai Heng wailed out, "Father, why are getting rid of the non-alcoholic wine?"

"My lucky star is pregnant, my great granddaughters are on the way, if i catch any of you polluting this house in any way i will break your legs."

Grandpa Tai continued going around like a buzzing bee in search of nectar, getting rid of this and that. In the midst of this, a brown almost realistic looking horse galloped through the dining room with an excited Xiaobo on its back. Tai Fong and Yuewei were running after it.

If it was not for its semi translucent skin and the gears turning inside it, everyone would have been freaking out because horses wete not meant to live in doors.

"What the hell is it?" Tai Haoyu asked.

Barely had the question escaped his lips when another horse joined with Tai Wong on the back. Not just Tai Wong but all the cats including Majesty were on the back and head of the horse.This one was not galloping but trotting slowly.

"If those horses bump into Alix when she returns, somebody will get an ass kicking." Grandpa Tai warned everyone that was partaking in the horse riding game.

"This is going to be a very long pregnancy, six months of crazy." Tai Ho Sun sighed.

Their grandfather was just starting, it was only going to become worse from here. He had a feeling that the entire house was going to be child proofed before the following month arrived.

"Crazy fun." Haoyu amended.

"God help us all." Tai Ho Sun concluded, with another sigh.
