Chapter 561: The danger of Caishen.

"I want to face him already."

Boldly, Alix answered his question. "I am tired of this game that we are playing. Initially, i wanted to hold out and see how long weather boy could keep up this brutal rain assault but now, i am bored."

"No." The captain immediately rejected her decision. "One storm, a few lightning bolts, a tsunami. Any of those can take you out easily." He shook his head frantically.

Abby Chung nodded, agreeing with his captain. "There is a reason why weather boy was sent, he is that strong. For years we have been trying to capture him but it has been in vain.

Do you know how many system hosts have died because of him? He buried some in landslides, drowned another in the south sea, froze two to death. No offense but you are just a dragon, as impressive as that is, you don’t have what it takes to take on weather boy."

"He can use the wind to fly and match you in battle in the sky. On the ground, he can move the earth and make it swallow you, on water he in invincible. He can even use the sun’s rays to burn you." Yi Sao shared with her more details about how frightening weather boy was.

Alix calmly shrugged. "I have heard all you have said and still, i am going to face him. What do you guys expect me to do, hide for the rest of my life? If he was so confident then he would have taken me on already but he has not done so. He is just as wary of me as you all are of him. Besides, i have my own trump cards that he will not see coming."

She had her flute from the world and the music, she could put him to sleep if she wanted. She could make him hallucinate in the midst of a fight, catching him off guard. She had one bullet left over from the fourth world which she had not handed in.

There were many ways she could fight back and she was sure that she would win. If worst came to it, she would have her system pull him into the bag, that was her domain, he would be powerless in there and she could strip him of his system.

The captain grabbed her by the shoulders and he dug his fingers into her shoulders, but he didn’t cause her pain. Her body was not ordinary after all.

"You are not listening." he loudly shouted at her.

She grimaced and drew her head back, the captain’s booming voice had almost shattered her eardrums.

"It will take at least eight to ten strong system hosts to bring down weather boy. On your own, you will be nothing but a sitting duck so do not face him and do not search him out. You are the first system host outside of the seven...six families to declare your intentions of standing for world bureau. You have the support of almost every system host, you have united our kind in a way no system hosts has done in fifty years. Things are on track. If you die, we are back to zero."

Caishen’s right hand came down on the captain’s right arm and he clamped down tightly.

"Let go."

He stared at the man icily and commanded in a harsh but soft voice. His voice actually managed to make the captain shudder and for some reason, he let go. His own system was warning him to be cautious.

The captain frowned as he stared back at Caishen curiously, wondering why his system was telling him to be wary of an ordinary human. His eyes moved back to Alix and then to Caishen.

These two, what were they hiding?

Alix placed her hand to Caishen’s left hand and she squeezed it. She wanted to say, "Come back to me." She was not hurt by the captain’s tight grip on her shoulders, it had not even caused her the slightest pain.

What it had done was leave some bruises on her skin which was visible since she was wearing a grey sweater that was of the off shoulder fashion.

Those bruises were certainly going to drive her husband crazy all day, wishing to retaliate and struggling between the need for violence and keeping their secret a secret.

"I am o." Alix whispered to him.

Caishen clenched his fists and stepped away from the captain, moving Alix back as well. It was best to create some distance between all of them.

Yi Sao and Abby Chung were unsure of what to do, worried that a fight might break out. They assumed that the captain would win but would Alix allow him to lay a hand on her husband?

Could this meeting continue if they suddenly started fighting?

The captain had read the air so he decided that he had to be the one to clear the air so that they could go back to serious business.

"I apologize, i over asserted my strength without meaning to."

"Never touch my wife again." Caishen responded coldly.

The captain’s eyebrows shot upwards and he smirked. What if he had to save Alix’s life and it required that he touch her? Was he supposed to let her die because her obsessive possessive cave man of a husband didn’t want another man touching her?

He had so quickly forgotten about the red bruises he had left on her shoulders. Caishen was angry about them more than anything. If his wife had been any other woman, an ordinary one, her shoulders would have been broken.

Alix was just about ready to leave and she wanted this meeting wrapped up. Her mind was made up, she was facing weather boy with or without their permission.

"Captain, i know that you are worried less about weather boy and more about Genesis and Afaro. Currently, i am your best bait to finding them and you are worried that if i die, your bait is gone.

Don’t worry, i do not plan to die. I have to get married in two weeks. I want to get married on a sunny day without worries about weather boy flooding the wedding venue of attacking it. This has to end, and i am going to be the one to end it. Just you watch and wait, i will make him drag him to the hidden city in handcuffs."

She put her arm through Caishen’s and leaned against him.

"Let’s go, hubby."

Caishen nodded at the three people and led Alix out to find Aang who sent them back to the old Zhang mansion.

Today was the day the were returning to the Tai family home as agreed. They were spending a week there and the last week of the holidays at their home.

They picked up their empty suitcases which they were rolling out for show as all of their luggage was in Alix’s bag.

When they came out of the bedroom, they found the troublesome munchkin Xiaobo waiting with his own suitcase and Alix’s owl plushie.

"Lets’ go." he said, eagerly.

Alix looked at Caishen and then they looked at Xiaobo.

"Where are you going our little young master?" she asked him.
