Chapter 546: Bo, the systemcist.

Yi Sao was good at manipulating people with her words, it was why she had the job she was doing for the bureau in the police force.

Calling her husband to be an idiot and illegitimate son was an interesting choice of words. She was fishing for something, of that Alix was sure.

Yi Sao laughed softly, playing off Alix’s words. She turned away and got a green baseball cap from a young boy that was selling them and some other items. He was a student from the school’s entrepreneurship club.

She put the cap on her head and folded her arms across her chest. Firmly, she told Alix, "I don’t do sides. I have enough of that in my line of work so i have no desire to carry it home with me. Thank you for the advise, older sister-in-law, i will allow the Zhang’s to iron out their differences. I am not yet married into the family anyway, so what right do i have to intervene."

Alix opened her mouth to respond but she was grabbed from the back, spun around and hugged.

"You are late." her husband complained.

"You know why." she answered.

She stepped back to keep him from squishing Majesty that was back to sleeping again. The cat was like a bear hibernating in winter lately, always sleeping when he was not up to no good.

"This is..." she moved her head to introduce Yi Sao but the woman was already gone and where she had been standing was the system. "She was here, how are you here now?"

"I came with him." It pointed to Caishen. "Buy me a hat Alix, i want a hat."

Caishen paid for the hat and then the system elf run away again. Both of them didn’t try to stop it from leaving, Caishen was already familiar with it as it was not the first time the system was venturing out of it’s world. Normally, it just stayed in their bedroom, it was a first for it to be out in the open world. He would worry but it could protect itself so he let the matter roll off his back.

"Has Zhang An destroyed Wang Yong yet?"

"No, but she has been giving him some serious stinking eye glares that cannot be mistaken for anything other than anger. It took three of us to hold her back the moment she set her eyes on him. While we stopped her body, her mouth went to work, calling him everything she could think of. Bo had to shut her up with his hand and remind her that we are at a family friendly event. For once, i am glad that your family has brought all this noise which prevented people from noticing our drama." he led her to her seat while mentioning some of the names Zhang Yong had been called.

Alix’s head moved around as her eyes searched for the other person that wanted Zhang Yong’s head on a spike, Yura.

"And your mother?"

Caishen pointed to the seats closest to auntie Mo and chairman Tai. Yura and her new boyfriend were sitting with the Tai’s, not next to Zhang Bo like originally planned.

"She and Mr. Aang decided to switch seats as soon as Wang Yong sat himself down next to my father."

Alix noted that Zhang Bo was now sitting with Zhang An and her boyfriend Rongyan. Zhang Xian, Yong and Zhang Mixi from the second family were together. There were other people from the Zhang family around them and they were trying their best to keep up with the cheerful loud Tai’s.

While she was looking around, her eyes met with Zhang An’s accusing ones and she grimaced.

"Sorry." Alix mouthed at her.

Zhang An made a throat slitting gesture and Alix sighed. She was going to have to bribe her way out of this one, but with what?

"Your sister likes nice cars, right?"

Caishen nodded and Alix had her bribe. All those cars from the other worlds that the system was holding for her were being wasted so why not give one to Zhang An. Her eyes continued to move around and collided with some of those belonging to her brothers and their wives or girlfriends.

"Oh, Ho Sun’s little girlfriend is here." she noted loudly.

"She is spending the lunar new year with your family, that’s a sign that they are serious." Caishen commented.

Alix was inclined to agree, it was no wonder her mother was smiling so broadly, she was anticipating receiving a new daughter-in-law.

She moved on from Ho Sun’s girlfriend and went on to soak up the excited air at the small stadium. It was packed full and the noise was all the way high to the maximum. She was certain that half of the people there didn’t understand baseball and they were just there to have fun.

Her grandfather was certainly enjoying himself down on the field, he was even giving an interview to a reporter. What was he even talking about when he was not knowledgeable in baseball? He called a strike out a tap out, and his favorite thing to was blow the whistle and yell, "Tap out."

A whistle was blown and two teams came out onto the field with vigor and pomp. In no time, the match was started. Alix cheered on her brother loudly, shouting his name at the top of her voice whenever he was pitching.

But a three hour game was a long one and she and Caishen engaged in conversations about a variety of things without losing track of the game.

"Aah, why is Mantis unhappy with Bo? What happened between them?"

She had almost forgotten to ask such an important question thanks to Wang Yong and his troubles. Keeping up with the love lives of her friends and family was one of her favorite pass times, an activity she had dragged her husband into.

"He found out that she is...." his eyes moved around and he moved his head closer. "You know." He wrote the word insect on his phone and showed it to her. "He has been avoiding her since then, said he needs to first re-evaluate. Apparently, Bo is afraid of all sorts of insects and he is not certain if they will be a good match anymore."

Alix turned her head up, looked in Bo’s direction and sneered. It was not just insects, it was all system hosts with beast morphing systems he was wary of as if they would eat him in his sleep.

"Tch, that’s discrimination, your brother is systemcist."

"That is not a word Alix." Caishen said.

She snorted and stood up with the rest of the crowd on her side to applaud Yuewei’s sixth strike out in one game.

"Our kid is a really good pitcher, he is going to be a star." Caishen pulled her close and praised Yuewei.

Of course he was going to be a star, he was a system host now. Yuewei was go on to break many records and become the world’s best baseball pitcher.

The human system showed up and demanded for more money, it wanted to buy ice cream. So far, it had spent thousands of yuan filling it’s stomach.

"We haven’t given the human form of that thing a name." Caishen reminded her as they watched it race away with Xiaobo, hand in hand.

Alix looked at it, thinking of all the trouble it loved to cause her. It was only fitting if she name it trouble.

"Mafan, Zhang Mafan."

There was trouble alright, and it was not the system, it was weather boy, right there in the crowd, enjoying the game in a green cap just like everyone else.
