The Young master's fake bride and her lucky system-Chapter 526: I am coming to you.

"I love you," he said again. "I have been wanting to tell you this for a long time now. I think i fell for you within the first month of our marriage when i found out that you were secretly fighting people online that were mocking me for my my health situation.

You hid your little secret so well and used a fake account but i found out anyway and i saw your sincerity finally. You, you brought the sun back into my life and got me off of my feet. I wanted to tell you this on the day of our wedding with some grand gesture but things have changed thanks to the systems and bureaus.

I don’t want to wait in case more danger comes our way and we find ourselves in a situation where we are afraid or fighting for our lives. I know, okay, i know the timing could be better and perhaps this is not the most romantic confession you have received but if i don’t get it off my chest i feel like i just might explode and....

"Shut up." Alix placed her palm on the laptop as if she was really stopping him from talking.

Caishen did as she wanted, shutting up and he blamed himself for confessing out of the blue because the business with the Heinrich’s had frightened him some. He should have done it the right way with flowers, her favorite chocolates in a nice place and...

"Why would you confess to me when you are hundreds of miles away from me you dummy? Do you know how long i have waited for you to say this to me? How am i supposed to throw myself into your arms now and tell you that i love you too?"

Her telling him to shut up was not because she didn’t want to hear the rest of his confession but because her emotions were heightened and she was feeling so happy that she could die. Every once in a while when he was on the brink of saying it, he would make a joke or say ’like’ instead of ’love’.

With his actions however, he had proved exactly how he felt about her time and time again. This was the first time he was confessing his love to her genuinely but he was miles apart.

Filled with energy after hearing her tell him that she loved him too Caishen wanted to to punch a few things or do a few burpees to celebrate. If she was there with him, he would pick her up and spin her around.

"I am coming to you, wait for me. Do you hear me Alix, i am coming so wait for me." he said enthusiastically.

"Break the sound barrier baby." she replied.

She ended the call and giggled, feeling giddy and in disbelief. Caishen had just confessed to loving her, she had not misheard him. She pinched her arm and slapped her cheek lightly a few times.

"He loves me." she whispered to herself and laughed. "Break the sound barrier...ah, why did i say something so cliche like that." She groaned and covered her eyes with the palms of her hands.

She wondered again if she was dreaming, so she slapped her cheeks again, prompting herself to wake up.

Mantis found her giving herself light slaps and moaning. She didn’t know what to make of it and just grabbed her arm and dragged her away.

"Come on, party at the pool Alix."

She was not kidding when she said party because there were other people at at the pool, strangers that Alix did not know, around thirty of them. They were already having fun when Alix joined them against her will.

"Err..."

She wanted to asked who they were because she had been assured that she would have the chateau to herself, the workers excluded. Before the question could come out of her mouth, Mantis put two of her fingers in her mouth and whistled loudly.

The sound she produced captured the attention of everyone as it happened to overpower the music.

"The guest of honor is here." she announced in English, pointing to Alix.

Every eye turned in her direction, there was still silence for a few seconds and then someone roared loudly. The roar was followed up by a sudden applause and a lot of picture taking and hand shaking as excited people told Alix they were happy to meet her.

Alix was not sure what to make of it until she heard someone say, "It’s the dragon of the East."

Mantis was by her side, steadily making introductions and Alix came to realize that these were all system hosts that had come to meet her. Most of them were from the European bureau and happened to be nearby when Mantis reached out to them.

A very large man with shaggy honey blonde hair swept Alix off her feet. Mantis slapped his large bicep and hissed at him so he put her down.

She leaned towards Alix and made an introduction. "This is Oris, he is the one that roared earlier, a white lion."

Oris opened his arms to go in for a hug but Alix dodged it by stepping to the side and Mantis kicked Oris into the pool, arousing laughter from everyone including Oris.

"And we have our first victim of Mantis’s swift feet for the day." The DJ or the world famous music DJ Jan Raf announced.

The system hosts cheered and cat called while Oris roared playfully. For a moment there just after Mantis kicked him, Alix had detected a strong threatening strength from him and she had been anticipating a fight but nothing happened. He was happy now acting free and easy as he played in the pool.

"He is strong." she told Mantis.

Mantis nodded, " Oris is one of the top ten strongest system hosts in the world but he is a big goof so you don’t have to worry about him. He is also a hugger and a big flirt that claims philandering is his right as lions don’t have single mates. Then again, it’s not a claim as lions are polygamous creatures."

Alix turned to the DJ who was tall, about seven feet and a few inches. she nodded her head once in his direction. "What’s his deal?"

"Giraffe system, you can guess from his height and the Raf name which is short for Giraffe. As you can tell by now, most of the people here have beast morphing systems. Asshole Wei was right, you can find us everywhere, we have the biggest number of system hosts and we are also the ones that have been abused the most by the bureau and it’s policies. Even Oris has scars to show for it.

That’s why they all showed up to meet you, they are excited. Nobody has stood up to the bureau the way you have. You are an inspiration to them all."

"Genesis did." Alix mumbled.

Mantis sneered, even hearing the name Genesis alone was enough to anger her. "Genesis wants war, power and control. That’s not what we want, we just want to live freely without being threatened or forced to do things against our will."

Mantis grabbed Alix’s shoulders and turned her around so they could speak eye to eye.

"As long as you keep pushing, they are all willing to follow you and there are many more. Even if it means relocating, they will follow you. I don’t know how you feel about politics but you should consider running for the position of president of the Asian bureau, heck president of the entire bureau. We don’t want a non system host leading us anymore."
