She heard the sound of a whistle and then Bi Cang and Third knife fell to the ground. Majesty leaped out of Bi Cang’s hands in time and he landed on one of the shelves. From the shelves, he leaped onto Alix’s shoulder and meowed fiercely. It was not the soft meow of a cat but the fierce roar of a male adult lion. At Alix’s command, he was ready to attack.

A group of men in black, decked out in full gear like special soldiers with their faces fully covered made their way into the chocolate shop and half-jogged towards her unconscious bodyguards.

Without lifting a finger, Alix activated a special feature of her bag and the two bodyguards disappeared from the floor before they could be touched. She had long prepared for the possibility of having to face off against people from the dark side or members of the Heinrich family.

The amount of money they had lost in compensation and pay offs as system hosts threatened to sue them was a lot. As a matter of fact, many wealthy people had lost money which was pennies to them but their egos were bruised greatly. Obviously, someone would be looking for payback sooner or later.

"Hmm, it looks like you made preparations." The man smiled. "Well, we made preparations too."

He showed Alix his phone and she saw a lived feed of her three brothers, Wu Wei, Wu Gang and Yuewei.

"We also have eyes on your father, the chairman of TFK. You should have warned him not to take random meetings with an unknown business man looking to introduce TFK to the German market. I can also show you your grandparents or your brother Tai Chang.

There is that little boy you adore so much, Zhang Xiaobo, you wouldn’t want anything to happen to him, would you? You may be the big bad fire breathing dragon but what about them, are they dragons too? Family is the thing that makes all system hosts weak Alix and you are no different from everyone else. If you refuse to obey, boom. You can cut your tour short and return for burial, perhaps the dragon fire you so selfishly want to keep to yourself can be used to cremate them."

Majesty hissed and Alix calmed him down slowly by rubbing her hand through his fur. It wasn’t as if she was not angry too but the bracelet on her hand was still, not hinting at any immediate life threatening danger to her. She didn’t want to make any unnecessary moves or waste fire power.

"Easy baby." she whispered.

There was a time to kill and now was not it. She looked at the man and smiled dangerously. He was smiling cunningly but also proudly and acting like he had everything under control.

She knew that they would not allow her to contact her family members and warn them. Of course, they didn’t know that she had a system that could send the warning for her and she didn’t have to lift a finger.

They also didn’t know that she had made arrangements to protect her school and her brothers.

"Blue smurf, send them the warning signal and activate the weapons." she sent an order with her thoughts.

She had taken a page out of minister Wei’s playbook and stationed self defense robots of her own that had only one goal, to protect every member of her family. Her robots were not as big as the ones minister Wei had and they were smaller in size, like little toys. However, they were more lethal and faster.

"What about you?" the system asked her.

She glanced at the man who was acting all unbothered and already victorious, helping himself to some of the milk chocolate beans from the shelf. "I am still considering my options."

"I bet he has never played with fire. Let’s play along and see what we find, i haven’t leveled up in a while anyway. Let’s go and eat something good." her system suggested.

She pulled Majesty closer to her chest and sighed. She used her free hand to sweep around twenty packets of those milk chocolate beans into her basket slowly. Then, she walked to the now empty counter first and left behind a wad of cash. Just because the cashier was gone did not mean she didn’t have to pay for her purchases.

She put Majesty on the counter and started packing up her different chocolates, putting them in her back. All the while when she was doing this, the man and the his men in black did not move an inch.

She turned to him and sighed loudly. "Well, you have me beat i guess, so i will go without putting up a fight. All i have to do is blow out a candle right?"

The man nodded while maintaining his deceptive smile. Alix was led out of the shop and led straight to one of the cars that was waiting outside the market. The windows of the expensive black were tinted so dark that she couldn’t see a single thing outside even with dragon eyes so, she switched to the special vision provided by the system.

In the meantime in his office, Caishen was enthusiastically working out, doing burpees like a man on a mission, which was something he was actually on. At the same time, he was discussing business with Biming who was exasperated because all he wanted his boss to do was sit down and converse normally.

"How is the leveling of the ground in the forest and..."

"Boss, are you really going to build a house next to a mountain? Why would you leave the comforts of the bright city and go to such a remote tourist area?"

Caishen who was wiping away the sweat from his face pondered on what response to give his assistant. He certainly couldn’t tell him that one of the entrances to the hidden city was there. His wife wanted space where she could fly freely and the bright city with it’s lights and cameras was a little too inconvenient.

"My family has grown larger." Caishen responded.

Biming thought about all the members of the Zhang family, it was true they were many but they had always lived in the city. Also, his boss did not have children yet, only a wife.

"I have an active wife and three active brothers-in-law and....."

Caishen’s voice trailed off as he received a notification from his system. He checked his phone and his aura suddenly changed and a deep frown came over his face.

In a strong urgent voice, he commanded, "Biming, i am going to Xiaobo’s school right now, have my car prepared....NOW!" frёewebnoѵel.ƈo๓

He started calling Alix’s phone immediately, extremely worried. But he realized quickly that she could handle herself so he decided to focus on the weaker members of the family. It was time to put his own strength to use.
