The Young Master's Escaping Bride Who Lost Memories-Chapter 796 - 816: Nangong Feihong Disappeared
He widened his eyes, staring at the sky above, somewhere between blue and gray.
It felt like his entire world had been completely turned upside down.
Tears kept streaming from his eyes.
Many pedestrians walked past him on the street, but... no one dared to approach him.
His entire body exuded a sense of desperate destruction, making anyone who got close feel a chill down their spine.
"Such a good young man... What’s wrong with him..."
"Yeah... No idea... Quite pitiful..."
"Might be mentally ill..."
Someone whispered.
Nangong Feihong heard the murmurs around him.
Suddenly, like a madman, he started laughing hysterically.
He laughed for a long time, until people nearby were so scared that they ran far away.
Then he finally got up from the ground.
He took out his passport and ID from his jacket.
Limping forward, his hand dripped blood onto the ground as he walked.
Bright red blood blossomed into enchanting roses on the ground.
That bastard Situ Yan had insisted he go alone, which he had found odd at the time.
Now it seemed, perhaps it was Xia Xiaonuan’s idea after all.
In front of them, he was like a huge light bulb, blissfully thinking it was all for her good.
Thinking about it now, it was truly laughable.
Nangong Feihong turned around and hailed a taxi.
"To the airport," he said expressionlessly.
...
Sunlight poured over the large bed in the hotel room.
Xia Xiaonuan felt a bit hot and turned over.
She found her body pinned down by a long leg.
A hand was draped over her chest.
She frowned slightly and, upon seeing the stern and handsome face in front of her, her own face immediately darkened.
She reached out and angrily flung Situ Yan’s arm aside.
With a strong kick, she booted him off.
Situ Yan groaned in pain and glared at Xia Xiaonuan: "What are you doing?"
"Shouldn’t I be asking you that?" Xia Xiaonuan glared back indignantly, huddling on the other side with the blanket: "Didn’t you say you’d sleep by yourself?"
Situ Yan feigned innocence: "Maybe we accidentally tangled up while sleeping! As he sat up rubbing his leg, he glanced disapprovingly at her: "Why are you always so violent."
Xia Xiaonuan couldn’t be bothered to respond, got out of bed in her pajamas, and looked at the clock.
"It’s already eight o’clock!"
Thinking of something, she asked, "Feihong hasn’t gotten up yet?"
"Probably not," Situ Yan said as he got out of bed and headed to the bathroom: "That guy is definitely still sleeping in."
Xia Xiaonuan felt uneasy and walked out of the room to Nangong Feihong’s room.
However, the room was empty; there was no sign of Feihong.
"Feihong? Feihong!" Xia Xiaonuan felt a twinge of anxiety and called out loudly.
Walking out of the suite and into the hallway, she called several more times with no response.
She quickly returned to her room, her face pale, and said to Situ Yan: "Feihong is gone!"
Situ Yan was getting dressed, and upon hearing this, he froze.
A flicker of panic flashed in his dark, cold eyes. He quickly finished dressing and rushed to Nangong Feihong’s room.
"He’s taken all his things!" Situ Yan glanced at Xia Xiaonuan and immediately dashed downstairs without another word.
He asked the receptionist, who said she had seen Nangong Feihong leave early in the morning.
He seemed very angry.
Situ Yan’s face turned as pale as a sheet in an instant.
Xia Xiaonuan said anxiously, "Oh no, Feihong must have seen something and misunderstood us!"
Situ Yan raised his hand and smacked his own head forcefully.
"It’s all my fault!" Situ Yan stood there, at a loss, then fixed his gaze on Xia Xiaonuan and said through gritted teeth, "Feihong must have gone to the airport. We need to get to the airport immediately!"
