The Wicked Female Is Wild and Scheming, Living in a Love Battlefield Every Day-Chapter 112: Throwing Down at the Drop of a Hat
Luna Sutton was surprised. Did the ice-faced guy actually volunteer to dance? And in this manner—has the sun risen in the west?
There was no time to respond.
Corbin Crowley had already stridden over, his silver eyes narrowing, his tone carrying a hint of danger, "If you’re dancing, it’s with me first."
With those words, he suddenly grabbed her wrist and tugged her into the crowded, lively throng.
Dominant and decisive, without any hesitation.
Swept into the chaotic scene by Corbin Crowley, surrounded by passionate Beastmen and females, she was completely dazed.
Before she could react, Corbin already had an arm around her waist, dragging her into the rhythm.
"Hey, what are you doing?"
Luna Sutton frowned, trying to break free, but Corbin’s arm was like a clamp, impossible to escape.
"Dancing."
Corbin maintained a stern face, silver eyes briefly flashing with undeniable dominance, "Didn’t you say you wanted to dance? Then dance with me first."
Luna Sutton: "..."
She indeed wanted to dance, but not with the dog-faced man in front of her; she wanted to dance with Rhys Blackwood.
No time to protest, the dog-faced man had already spun her around, dominantly occupying the center of the dance floor.
Instantly clearing out a vacuum space.
Corbin’s movements were bold and swift, somewhat rough.
Luna Sutton was pulled off balance, nearly crashing into his embrace.
Beastmen and females around them stopped, their eyes fixed on this spot, filled with gossip and excitement.
"Wow! Corbin is dancing with Luna Sutton!" 𝓯𝙧𝙚𝒆𝙬𝙚𝒃𝙣𝙤𝒗𝓮𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢
"Wow, doesn’t Corbin usually dislike Luna Sutton? Why is he proactively dancing with her today?"
"Who knows, seems like Luna Sutton’s recent changes have stirred Corbin’s interest."
...
Hearing these discussions, Luna Sutton felt speechless: interest? More like messing with me! This was clearly the dog-faced man intentionally causing chaos.
She attempted to break free, but Corbin’s arm didn’t budge; instead, he tightened his grip.
He looked down at her, silver eyes filled with teasing dominance, "What’s wrong? Didn’t you say you wanted to dance? Scared now?"
She gritted her teeth in anger, glared at him, "Scared? I’m scared your dancing can’t keep up with my rhythm!"
Corbin raised an eyebrow, a cold smirk tugging at his lips, "Let’s see."
As soon as the words fell, he spun her rapidly, the movements dizzyingly fast.
Luna Sutton nearly got flung away; struggling to maintain her balance, she cursed inwardly: Is this dancing or fighting?
Outside the scene, Rhys Blackwood watched, a flicker of displeasure flashing across his stern face, his lips pressed tightly together, eyes as dark as a storm.
Kian Sterling appeared from somewhere, smilingly approaching Rhys Blackwood, but his gaze fixed on the scene, "What’s wrong, got beaten to it?"
Rhys Blackwood’s brow furrowed slightly, his gaze still on Luna Sutton, "She owes me a dance."
Kian Sterling raised an eyebrow, his fox-like eyes showing surprise, "You genuinely want to dance with her?"
Wasn’t it for promising food?
Rhys Blackwood shot a cold glance at Kian Sterling, his voice deep, "She said she’d dance with me, so she must dance with me."
Kian Sterling’s fox-like eyes curved, his smile deepening, "What do you plan to do then? Just go over and take her?"
Rhys Blackwood said nothing, but his eyes spoke volumes.
Kian Sterling chuckled with meaning, "I’m really curious to see how the ice-faced man melts."
At this moment, Luna Sutton was already dizzy from Corbin’s spins, feeling as if her head was full of stars, unable to tell east from west.
Is the dog-faced man intentionally tormenting me? His dancing feels like war, spinning me until I’m nauseous!
She shouted urgently, "Corbin, stop it! One more spin and I’ll ascend into the heavens!"
Corbin’s silver eyes flashed slightly, his tone teasing, "Already overwhelmed? Weren’t you talking big just now?"
Luna Sutton was so angry she ground her teeth, "Is this dancing or revenge?"
Corbin sneered, "What do you think?"
She was just about to retort when suddenly her waist loosened, and she was forcefully pulled away.
The next second, she found herself in another embrace, cold and carrying a hint of abstinence.
Looking up, Rhys Blackwood’s stern face was close, his gaze as icy as snow.
She shook her dizzy head, "Eh, Rhys Blackwood, why do you have two heads?"
This comment successfully amused Kian Sterling outside the scene, his fox-like eyes full of teasing.
Malachi Arcanus stood with arms crossed, eyes fixed on this spot with a playful expression, "Interesting, really interesting."
Zeke Veridian stood in the corner, his emerald eyes showing regret, thoughts occupied with the missed beast crystal.
His attention wasn’t even directed here.
Mia’s face was as dark as ink, her eyes filled with jealousy nearly overflowing, glaring like a poison snake at this scene.
Her mind consumed with thoughts of how to get rid of Luna Sutton.
On the dance floor, Rhys Blackwood watched the dizzy Luna Sutton, his mouth twitching, his voice unmistakably commanding, "My turn."
Luna Sutton: "..."
Corbin’s face turned dark, silver eyes flashing with aggression, "Rhys Blackwood, what’s the meaning of this?"
Rhys Blackwood casually glanced at him, his tone calm, "She owes me a dance."
Corbin sneered, "Owes you? She just promised to dance with me."
Rhys Blackwood remained expressionless, "That’s because you snatched her."
Luna Sutton was caught between the two, feeling the intense, invisible clash of auras, inwardly exclaiming: Is this a chaotic scene? I just want to complete my task!
She tried to escape from Rhys Blackwood’s embrace, "Um, why don’t you both calm down first?"
Rhys Blackwood looked down at her, his gaze frighteningly cold, "You want to go back on your word?"
Luna Sutton’s brow twitched, hurriedly nodding, laughing awkwardly, "Of course not, let’s dance, right now."
With that, she voluntarily placed her arms on his shoulders, ready to start dancing.
She didn’t want her task to fail; the mysterious grand prize was still pending.
Corbin’s face darkened, silver eyes coldly fixed on her hand resting on Rhys Blackwood’s shoulder, as if penetrating, "Are you sure you want to dance with him?"
Feeling Corbin’s icy glare, knowing the dog-faced man was angry, but no time to care, "Um, Corbin, we just finished dancing, now it’s Rhys Blackwood’s turn, take a break at the side."
Corbin’s silver eyes narrowed, "Not finished yet."
Luna Sutton: "..."
A herd of grass mud horses galloped through her heart: Is the dog-faced man deliberately causing trouble?
Rhys Blackwood, with a stern face, directly began spinning her, completely ignoring Corbin’s presence.
There’s logic in snatching people, not directly swatting him away was giving him face.
Corbin’s face instantly darkened, silver eyes flashing with hostility, right hand transforming into wolf claws, gaze dangerously fixed on Rhys Blackwood, "Are you looking for a fight?"
Rhys Blackwood remained expressionless, "Let’s fight, who’s scared of who."
Luna Sutton: "..."
Holy, are these two really going to fight at the bonfire party?
She quickly broke free from Rhys Blackwood’s embrace, positioning herself between them, laughing awkwardly, "Um, everyone calm down, we’re all on the same side, let’s talk it out, no need for violence."
Corbin’s eyes were full of disdain, sneering, "Who’s on the same side as him?"
Rhys Blackwood maintained a blank expression, voice cold as ice shards, "Not familiar."
Luna Sutton: "..."
Her head was pounding; how come these two were acting like school kids? One disagreement and onto fighting?
She was just pondering how to mediate when suddenly a chill crept from behind.
Turning around, she saw Kian Sterling had somehow approached, his fox-like eyes forming crescent moons, smilingly looking at her, "Cynthia, having danced with the two of them, later I want to dance too—don’t favor one over another."
Luna Sutton’s mouth twitched, this old fox was definitely intentional, why join the fun?
She had no intention of paying attention to Kian Sterling.
Turning toward Corbin with a dark expression, her head feeling twice as large, furrowed brow, "Corbin, cut it out or we’ll cancel the delicious treats for three consecutive days."
