The Whole Internet is Shipping Me with My Ex-Boyfriend-Chapter 351: With a Kiss, She Pries Her Lips Open_2
"You smell so nice." He sighed contentedly.
Gu Yuan said nothing.
"Hey, can’t you just have a bit of conscience, woman?" he said, helplessly.
Gu Yuan: "My conscience was eaten by a dog long ago, none left."
He: "..."
She coughed a few more times, since he was pressed against her, she felt her breathing become a bit tight, and coughing was laborious.
He’s really heavy.
And he’s not even aware of it.
"Are you sick?"
He finally noticed.
"No." She denied it.
"You’ve coughed twice in front of me." He said.
Gu Yuan: "Does coughing mean I’m sick?"
Quan Jin stared into her eyes.
Gu Yuan couldn’t stand his gaze, so she said, "If you get off me right now and let me breathe some fresh air, my sickness would be much better."
"So I’m the stumbling block on your road to recovery?"
"Aren’t you self-aware?"
Thick-skinned by nature, he couldn’t change that, but he got up anyway.
He was tall, and after getting off her, he stepped out of the car. The thin air that once surrounded Gu Yuan instantly felt vast like a prairie after he got up.
She slowly sat up.
Her collar had been messed with a bit by him earlier, it was a bit disheveled.
Her bra had been pushed up a bit by him, but it was stuck, so he didn’t succeed.
Yet he was strong, leaving some marks earlier.
When Gu Yuan was unhappy, her face didn’t look good. She didn’t get out of the car, just sat in the back seat, tidying up her clothes to their original state.
Her hair was a bit messy. Today, Gu Yuan had tied her hair with a headband, but now she couldn’t find it.
Just as she was frustrated, she heard his voice, "Here it is."
Gu Yuan looked up and saw the headband tied around his wrist, swinging it pompously in front of her, a mischievous smile on his lips, you could tell it was irritating.
The headband she thought was lost had somehow ended up in Quan Jin’s hands.
He even flaunted it like it was his possession, waving it in front of her.
Shameless.
Quan Jin sniffed the headband at his nose: "Smells just as nice as your hair."
Gu Yuan suddenly said, "Oh, I haven’t washed my hair in four days, what you’re smelling is probably dandruff."
His expression didn’t change, but his attitude seemed a bit displeased: "Are you a porcupine? Why do you always prick me!"
Gu Yuan smirked: "We might not be from the same world; in my world, the Chinese zodiac doesn’t include porcupines."
Quan Jin: "..."
She kept her face stern, still having no good attitude towards him: "You can leave now."
"Don’t want the headband?" he grinned mischievously.
Gu Yuan couldn’t bear to look, just reached out her hand.
He suddenly pretended to be dumb: "Want what?"
Gu Yuan withdrew her hand: "Want you to get lost, don’t appear in front of me, just looking at you now annoys me."
Of course, he wouldn’t leave easily, he got into the driver’s seat and closed the car door.
"Won’t you stop?"
"Taking you to the hospital."
"Not necessary."
"It is, my little pet is sick, what if you infect me." He spoke as if it was a matter of course, treating her as his possession.
Gu Yuan felt upset and stifled but didn’t want to argue with him.
Without Chi Yu’s memories, Quan Jin spoke so irritatingly.
Dean Quan, that aloof persona, no matter how she flirted, was unresponsive back then, even when attracted, still ridiculously aloof. Now that Gu Yuan wants to strategize against the memory-less Quan Jin, she finds it frustrating to even look at him.
Quan Jin seemed too lazy to deal with her, immediately driving onto the road.
Actually, Gu Yuan was in a bad mood, largely due to her illness; during sickness, everyone is vulnerable, needing care and attention. Before meeting Chi Yu, Gu Yuan was a strong, independent person; after meeting Chi Yu, she naturally enjoyed all his care.
After parting with Chi Yu, she had no lingering dependency, remaining as independent and self-sufficient as ever.
Perhaps time is too grinding, under its trials, Gu Yuan has changed a lot; sometimes she couldn’t control her heart, wanting to drop everything and move towards light.
Upon arriving at the hospital, Quan Jin took Gu Yuan to see a doctor.
With his nonchalant demeanor, he didn’t seem the least bit anxious. Gu Yuan felt uncomfortable and didn’t want to be near him, causing the doctor to give them several strange looks.
Gu Yuan had a bit of throat inflammation, nothing serious, a result of not fully recovering from a high fever. The doctor prescribed some medicine, explained how to take it, unclear if Gu Yuan listened or not.
Once out, Quan Jin asked her, "How much of what the doctor just said did you hear?"
