The Villain's Little Cat-Chapter 35
Chapter 35: Changes
“Meow...”
Kate could only sulk by herself as she laid on her bed. If she was at least a human being, she will be able to do whatever she wanted by herself.
But as a cat?
Tell her, how she was supposed to live by herself?
“Little Kitty.”
Kate raised her head and looked at Kyle. At this moment, she could see Kyle was looking in her direction with astonished expression.
Kate blinked her blue eyes.
.....
Anything wrong?
“Do you want some warm milk before sleeping again?” Kyle asked slowly.
“Meow!”
Kate then turned around, showing her back towards Kyle. She had no intention of drinking that milk again.
Seeing the little cat sulking again, Kyle just smiled lightly. He could sense that there was something different about the little cat and guessed that she must have upgraded her space based on how Kate looked at her tail not long ago.
He himself will still take some time.
Does it mean that his talent was not as good as little cat?
Kyle arched his eyebrows and was determined to finish all the crystal and at least improved his ability once.
...
The next day, Kate was annoyed because she was once again pulled to tag along with Kyle and his group. There was nothing much different compared to yesterday aside from the fact that there were more people who gathered.
So many people were not afraid of death and challenged themselves in this event.
Well, Kate had no time to care about them, though.
“There are surprisingly more awakened people,” Jake commented as they got their number and lined up.
Kyle nodded. “Everyone want to try their luck.”
“Well, the rats on the surface had been dealt with. But I heard that outside the cities, there are actually more mutated animals.” Jake grinned. “Do you want to try heading out of the city? You don’t need to line up there.”
“There will be more mutated animals. If you’re not afraid to die, you can head there by yourself.” Kyle was calm. ƒ𝓇e𝙚𝔀𝐞𝚋𝓃𝐨𝘷e𝙡.𝒄𝗼m
“Tsk, and here I thought you’ll be interested.”
“Dangerous.”
“I know, I know, Dylan.”
Kate blinked her eyes and looked at the wall in the distance. Their city was surrounded by walls due to the wars decades ago. It was this same wall that protected them from the mutated animals outside the city.
But at the same time, Kate also felt heavy.
Would the outside world be the same now?
How much had changed ever since there were countless mutated animals went on rampage?
Kate didn’t know.
And she didn’t want to know.
