The Villainess Married The Evil CEO-Chapter 95: You Like Him?!
Owen understood on the other side. This young woman was clearly foolish, not even seeing through the contract before signing. Seriously, what kind of foolish patient had he been given?
But he didn’t complain since he was given money. No matter how foolish, she was still his patient.
So he kindly guided her, "Well, how about you give your contract a read?"
Abigail blinked and nodded. "Okay. This will be the first thing I’ll do in the morning!"
"As for your relationship with him..." Owen thought about it and said, "Why do you want him to have a good relationship with you when it’s only a contract marriage? It’s not like you love him. You can separate and have a good future with someone else if you’re not comfortable with him."
Abigail frowned. Of course, she knew this. It wasn’t that she was a fool of a person who would hang onto a broken branch for the rest of her life. It was just that she hadn’t thought that there was a contract term.
Now that there was a contract term involved....
Her brows furrowed. She still didn’t know what to do, honestly. Nicholas was indeed her favorite character, and he was also fun to tease, but it didn’t mean she would have to force herself to spend the rest of her life with a man who never valued her presence.
Actually, Abigail herself wasn’t sure if she liked him or not. She was only going with the flow because she thought it was a lifelong marriage.
But now that she had been given a second option, she didn’t know what to do about this information all of a sudden. She was stunned silent at this time as her thoughts wreaked havoc in her head.
Owen felt bad for starting this topic. He sighed and said, "How about you give him a try?"
"What do you mean?" Abigail blinked, slightly confused about his sudden change of topic.
"Aren’t you confused about whether you should continue to like him or not now that you know about the contract term?" Owen patiently explained, "Give him a chance. What if he turns out to be a better husband for you?"
Abigail was stunned. How did he know what he was feeling? This doctor was certainly magical! He knew exactly what she wanted to hear!
"Are you sure?" She bit her lower lips and asked, "What if he remains the same?"
"It doesn’t matter." Owen smiled as he got up from his chair, knowing the conversation was nearly over. "You still have to wait until the contract expires anyway. You have all the time to think about it. So don’t worry, okay?"
Abigail nodded as she said excitedly, "Okay! Thank you Owen! I’d surely give him a chance. Wait, how long do I try?"
"Uh... That’s up to you." Owen packed his bag and walked to his door. "If he still remains cold and indifferent even after you seduce him, not reacting to you at all, then woman, it’s time for you to move on."
"Okay." Abigail understood what she had to do. "Alright. I’ll quickly work on this plan to seduce him. Seriously, Owen, you’re a God sent angel!"
"Says every patient of mine." Owen was quite proud of his achievements. "So, is there more?"
"Ah, no. I don’t think so." Abigail secretly looked at her husband and chuckled. "I’d make sure to seduce with all my heart and soul!"
"Uh..." Owen felt like he shouldn’t let the woman go astray. What if she ended up falling for him, and he remained indifferent?
It would be his fault to lead her to depression in the beginning. Thus, he warned her, "Wait a moment, Abigail. Don’t you think you’re missing out on something? The point isn’t about seducing him or not. The point is about you.
"Look, just try once or twice. If he doesn’t give you a hint, let him go and don’t put him in your heart. You should guard against him from that moment onward once you make a decision."
Abigail noted down every word in her heart and nodded. "Alright. Only once and twice."
If it’s only once or twice, she should do her best!
But how should she seduce him, ah?!
She can’t possibly ask her doctor about it, can she? It would be too awkward. Maybe she should try calling her friends.
A familiar woman’s face flashed in front of her eyes as she said, "Okay, doctor. I’ll go! Thank you for your time!"
Before he could even respond, she hung up the call hurriedly to call her friend, Katherine. Owen looked at his phone and chuckled, shaking his head. "Weird girl."
On the other side, Abigail called her friend, but the line was busy. So she hung up and called Anne instead.
This time, the woman picked it up, saying, "Abigail!!! It’s been so long! How are you?"
"I should ask you the same thing!" Abigail’s eyes squinted. "Aren’t you the one in trouble?"
"Oh that." Anne groaned as she sighed. "Don’t mention that. I was in trouble, but somehow, all the negative comments were removed one after another. I think someone is helping me secretly."
Abigail was stunned to hear that. Nicholas’s help came so fast?! Sure enough, her husband was the best in the world!
But when she thought of Owen’s warning, she scolded herself, ’Shut up! Don’t think of him romantically yet before you confirm his stance toward you! Stupid girl! Don’t you know how to guard your heart?’
She took a deep breath and said, "Thankfully you’re alright now,"
"Yes! This was a God sent help!" Anne sighed with emotion. "If I find that person’s address who helped me, I’ll worship him all my life!"
"It was William." Abigail finally blurted it out. "I had Nicholas help you in exchange for something, and he ordered William to help you."
"Oh...." Anne mysteriously went silent after hearing those words. So silent that Abigail almost thought that the call was hung up.
The latter frowned and said, "Hello? Anne? Are you still there?"
"Ah? Yes." Anne’s voice sounded a little odd as she cleared her throat. "He really helped me?"
"Yes..." Abigail’s brows furrowed as her eyes narrowed the next second. This time, she understood something. "Wait a minute, don’t tell me you like him!"
"...."
Anne felt she had no face to show in front of her friend. She groaned and finally admitted it to her, "Yes. I have liked him for a long time."
