Chapter 91: I Look Good!

Of course, not that Owen would speak a single word of doubt that was bubbling in his heart. He only smiled professionally and said before she could speak out her secrets, "No need to tell me if you don’t want to."

At this time, Abigail remembered her husband’s warning as she pursed her lips.

Not telling her mom, friends, etc, was one thing, but what about her doctor? She had a terrible habit of blurting out everything in front of her doctor back in the asylum during every session; of course, it was when she was still going to see him.

Abigail shook her head and said, "Actually, it was meant to be a secret, but since you’re my doctor, I’ll tell you. The reas-"

"No need." Owen smiled as he turned the car to a stop after reaching the hospital, "Since it’s a secret, keep it a secret. You don’t have to push yourself in a difficult situation. I’m okay with whatever you want."

Abigail sighed as her body relaxed. Seriously, this doctor indeed reminded her of her own doctor. This was dangerous.

What if she fell for someone else while married to her husband?!

But she can’t just stop talking to her psychiatrist, can she? She really did need help at this time when her symptoms were worsening.

A frown crossed her forehead as she said, "Doctor, will my symptoms ever reduce?"

"Sure it will. Don’t worry." Owen nodded at the receptionist in the lobby as he continued to walk, entering the VIP elevator. "Now, what else do you want to talk about?"

"Nothing." Abigail’s cheeks turned slightly red as she patted one of them with her free hand and blurted out her innermost desire, "Can I call you everyday?"

"Sure."

"Okay, thanks!"

When Abigail finally hung up the call, she realized what she had done as her body froze. She facepalmed herself and put a pillow on her face, screaming into it.

Stupid, stupid Abigail! What the heck is wrong with you?! Hadn’t she decided not to talk to him anymore because of his similarities to her own doctor?! How the f*ck she blurted out her thoughts without any reason or rhythm?!

So stupid!

But never mind. Since she had already said it, she would have to have daily sessions. Maybe this was happening for good.

Abigail quickly calmed down in the blink of an eye as she pulled out the make-up kit that Asher had handed her. When she opened the box, her eyesight fell on the disguise mask on the side. She pulled it out and looked at it.

It seemed like a skin-colored peel that looked slightly disgusting, but she was also eager to try it out. Thus, she stood before her mirror beside the bed and started putting it on her face.

Sure, it wasn’t easy, but she was a quick learner. After fifteen minutes, she was able to wear it. When she looked at her own face in the mirror, she was stunned.

Damn, she looked completely different in this mask! No, she didn’t look like Abigail at all!

Someone arrived at the door as she was sitting, knocking on it momentarily. Hearing it, Abigail instantly turned her head and looked back.

Asher, who had arrived just now, was stunned seeing her face. Even though he knew how effective the disguise masks were, he was still shocked by seeing it on this woman’s face.

Her facial appearance had changed so drastically that even he couldn’t identify her. Her nose, cheekbones, and sharp eyebrows made her look more elegant and sophisticated. Only now did he realize that he wasn’t currently facing Abigail but rather Olivia.

Abigail, who was being stared at so brazenly, shifted in her seat uncomfortably as she cleared her throat and asked, "Am I looking that weird?"

Asher blinked and shook his head. "No... Yes..."

He was stunned for the first time in his life. He took a deep breath and said, "Well, let’s get your hair done now, shouldn’t we?"

"Hair?" Abigail looked at her hair and tilted her head. Wasn’t her hair normal?

Asher didn’t say another word as he moved aside, bringing a lady with her make-up bag inside. She was a middle-aged lady but still looked elegant in her professional outfit.

"So you’re the young woman who wanted her make-up done, right?" She winked and said, "Don’t worry. I’ll make sure you look completely different from now. So stay put and let me do my thing, alright?"

Abigail had been to a parlor before, but it was only once when her nurse had taken her there. Of course, since she was naive, she let her nurse do whatever she wanted, and in the end, she only got a hair color.

Of course, it was right before she ended up in this world. Thus, her hair color was still there and didn’t fade away.

Since she still knew nothing about make-up, she sat straight on the chair in front of the mirror and said, "Okay. I’ll wait."

Asher also crossed his arms on his chest and leaned against the wall, staring at her. Since his cousin was still inside, sulking, he had all the time in the world to stare at this woman. It wasn’t like he was some creep, but he couldn’t help it. His emotions had spiralled out of control too soon, making him feel empty if he didn’t stare at her for long.

So he continued to lean at that place and stare for at most half an hour. It was only then that he heard Nicholas’s door opening. He sighed and turned around, walking outside the room as if he hadn’t been there in the first place.

By the time Nicholas finally came out of his room, he had long calmed down; he glanced at Abigail’s room and saw a stranger doing his wife’s makeup. He frowned and walked over.

By this time, Abigail’s makeup and hair were finally done. The middle-aged woman was fast in her work. So she finished it all in half an hour.

When she backed away, she said, "Girl, you look awesome!"

Abigail looked at her new look, of course, with a new disguise mask stuck to the skin of her face. Her hair was completely blond, giving her a slightly villainous touch. Her blue eyes complimented her hair.

"Wow, I do look good."
