The Villainess Married The Evil CEO-Chapter 80: Sneaking Inside The Bar Again
The bar was filled with men all around the place. In such a place, the only women in a gay bar included lesbians, staff members, and cleaners. Of course, some groups of friends included girls, but that was all.
Among them, surely, Abigail and Rosa stood out the most. Neither were staff, lesbians, cleaners, or friends of people. They were, in fact, in-laws standing among the gays and lesbians for the second time.
Rosa cursed under her breath. "I swear I creep out every time I come here." She pursed her lips. "Of course, no offense to our lesbo friends here. But the way they are looking at me...." She shivered as she felt a young woman’s intense gaze upon her. "Damn it. Youths these days don’t even leave us olds."
Abigail squinted her eyes. She was sure that woman wasn’t staring at Rosa but herself! But why should she speak these words? Let the old woman have her day... uh, I mean night.
She glanced around only to find Chris already arrived at the place, standing in one corner, leaning against the wall. Thankfully, the two came wearing masks, prepared to hide among the crowd. She nudged her mother-in-law and whispered, "Mom, there."
Rosa also found her son and nodded, rubbing her arms. She took a deep breath and walked onward, directly stationing herself at the barstool, into a space that wasn’t very close or far from her son. Then she glanced at the young man sipping into his drink alone.
When he walked out of the house, he was originally wearing only a red turtleneck shirt, but right now, he is wearing a black jacket and a silver chain around his neck. He probably bought it from the outside.
Rosa’s eyes narrowed, and even Abigail noticed these changes as she pursed her lips and stared at the man deeply.
She had forced the man to change into an outfit he had at home for a reason, but he still bought a black jacket and that similar silver chain. But his outfit still differed from what she had written in her novel.
So it should be good, right?
Abigail stared for a while before shrugging it off. Her excited and mania phase didn’t let her ponder over it further. Thus, she threw that thought to the back of her head and continued sipping her drink.
Soon enough, what Rosa feared had to happen. A young woman wearing ordinary party clothes walked forward. Her black outfit was exquisite as she looked beautiful with her full make-up on. Of course, she was also wearing a mask on her face to hide her identity, but that mask was only half showing her rosy lips.
Her lips hooked up as she leaned over the counter and ordered two drinks for herself. Another, she directly bypassed Abigail and handed over to Rosa. But when she bypassed Abigail, the woman’s body stuck close to the young woman, making her frown.
Abigail backed up a little as she cleared her throat and caught the woman’s hand, saying, "I’m sorry. We aren’t queers."
"I can tell." The masked woman chuckled and leaned forward. "But since you two look beautiful, I still wanted to buy you guys a drink. What do you think? Can you accept my graciousness?"
Abigail was about to reply when Rosa grabbed her daughter-in-law and said, "I’m sorry, but since my daughter said no, we refuse."
After saying that, she grabbed Abigail’s hand and said, "We are going."
Then she dragged her away from there. Behind her, the woman continued to look in Abigail’s direction as the corners of her lips curved up to form a pleasant arc.
"Ah, she’s too adorable," the masked woman whispered to herself and sighed. "Too bad, she’s straight."
Abigail didn’t know that even lesbians had eyes on her. But she was indeed glad to walk away from that place. It was just that she didn’t understand why these people were eyeing her. It wasn’t like she and Rosa came dressed in attractive outfits.
They wore extremely ordinary dresses that looked like walking in a garden. Then how come she still looked attractive to even lesbians?
If Abigail was really that attractive, why was her husband still so averse to her beauty, huh?!
Abigail pouted and quickly texted her husband.
"You should learn something from these lesbians! They know more about how beautiful I am than you!"
After hitting send, she instantly regretted sending that text in an impulse. The more she looked at it, the more she felt she shouldn’t have texted that. Thus, she was about to return it when Nicholas’s message came right after that.
"Come back right now."
That was so Nicholas.
Abigail pouted as she poked at the messenger and typed, "No! What will you do if I refuse?"
This time, Nicholas didn’t reply, which made Abigail’s mood off a little. Just as she was about to angrily reply, her mother-in-law poked at her and said, "Our target is here!"
Abigail instantly placed her phone in her pocket and looked over.
The young man also looked handsome, wearing a black shirt and denim. His hair was also done nicely, showing that he cared to make himself look even better than the last time they met. The strands of his hair were covered up with copper-brown highlights.
Abigail’s eyes sparkled seeing him.
This was her main character! So cool! 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝒆𝒘𝙚𝓫𝙣𝙤𝒗𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢
She still couldn’t believe she wrote him in her novel!
Just then, she watched Arthur walking closer to Chris. Even though the man looked calm and composed on the surface, she knew Arthur’s heart must have been thumping loudly in his chest like a little rabbit making trouble.
When Arthur walked over, even Chris noticed. The latter looked for a while and smiled, handing him a drink. Then, the two of them sat on the barstool.
Since they were sitting a bit far away, the duo in-laws couldn’t hear a word. Of course, Abigail still wanted to hear the conversation and was about to head closer when her mother-in-law grabbed the woman’s hands and said, "Don’t. We shouldn’t invade their privacy."
Abigail’s lower lips jutted out, but she nodded. Just as she turned around, she directly bumped into a young man coming in her direction. What was worse was that the moment they bumped, the entire drink in his hand spilled onto her outfit, making her scream because of how hot it was.
