The Villainess Married The Evil CEO-Chapter 29: The Main character: Arthur Taylor
Nicholas didn’t even realize when his mom and wife went out. He was still busy sorting out his work when he got a call from his mom’s driver/bodyguard.
"Yes?" Nicholas was typing speedily with utmost focus as he picked up the call. "Young master... Madam and younger madam came to a gay bar and... and they’re sneaking around."
"What?" Nicholas furrowed his brows as he closed his eyes. An intense sense of irritation filled his heart, making him want to throw things in anger.
But he wasn’t his crazy wife. He still had some class.
So when the driver repeated his words, he calmly said, "Hm. I’m coming."
He hung up the call as he stood up, gripping his phone tightly. This time, the screen cracked once again showing how angry he was!
That woman now was even influencing his mother! Just what the heck were they doing in a gay bar?
When on one side, an angered Nicholas was rushing over to the address texted by the bodyguard/driver, Abigail and Rosa entered the bar through the front door, sneaking in like little cats.
Of course, since they were here to find trouble for a certain second young master, they dressed appropriately while wearing masks on their faces. No one could identify them, not even their own son.
But they also had to dress as lesbians on a date, a pair of in-laws, quite unlike their original identities. So they sneakily sat on the bar stool, glancing around the place to search for that youngest son.
"Where is he?" Rosa asked as her feet tapped to the ground constantly, indicating her impatience. "Didn’t you say he would come here every weekend at night?"
"That’s right." Abigail pressed her index finger against her lips. "Shh, lower your voice. We don’t want his people to hear us."
"His people?"
"En." Abigail felt quite proud of herself as she described her own male lead. "He’s quite famous around here."
"How do you know?" Rosa’s eyes narrowed at her daughter-in-law. "You followed him here before, didn’t you?"
Mom, I wrote him. "Cough, yeah." Abigail lied without blinking eyelashes or feeling even a trace of remorse.
Rosa sighed and shook her head, taking the glass full of wine served by the bartender. "Let’s wait then. You know he’ll be here, won’t he?"
"For sure!" Abigail looked utterly determined at the moment as she looked around. When she finally found their target, her eyes brightened like a thousand tube lights. "There! Look at him! He’s the center of attention right now!"
She discreetly pointed at a young man who sat surrounded by several young men trying to hit on him, but that second young master didn’t even bother sparing them a single glance. Not far from him, the shou, the main character of her novel, was hiding in the corner with a row of empty bottles on his table.
Abigail rubbed her hands and whispered to her mother-in-law, "Mom, how about hooking him up with someone from our side?"
"Do you know someone?"
"No, but it’s not too late to get to know someone." She pointed to that depressed shou right on the table, who sipped another glass of wine, slamming it on the table. Then, the man lowered his head as if he had nothing to live for.
There was a reason why he was depressed. In the setting of her world, she had meticulously planned to make the shou go through a depression phase because he wasn’t getting any break in the entertainment world. He was an excellent singer who knew how to use many kinds of instruments, but he excelled in playing acoustic guitar while singing soft music.
Even then, since he had no connections, he got no break. Today was his last day to get rent, but he couldn’t pay anymore since he lacked money. In her novel, Abigail made sure that the main character had no choice but to resort to working as a staff member in the bar to earn some bucks. He even had to withdraw his name from the acting university.
That’s how he ended up bumping into the male lead.
Oh, there was something she forgot to mention. They were classmates during their high school days and even sat at the same desk for an entire semester! So the fluctuations of their emotions had long happened when they were teenagers!
As for what the main villain of her novel was doing in a gay bar...
Well, for starters, the villain was a homophobe who was venting her emotions and deep hatred for gays on one of her victims here. So, how couldn’t the main character notice her as a staff member?
But now, this young man wasn’t a staff member. He still had a long way to go before encountering the villain’s act of killing people in this place.
Abigail wanted to break the chain of events. So she would first have to stop the young man from becoming a staff here in the first place, thus avoiding the main villain’s eyes.
Originally, she never thought she would see the shou here at the same time as searching for Chris. But who would have thought her luck was so great tonight?!
Rosa also looked at the young man, but her thoughts differed completely from her daughter-in-law’s. Her eyes squinted as she stared at the man for a long time.
That man seemed an utter example of depression, making even his aura darker than ever. No one dared to approach him, no matter how handsome he looked, with his black-colored bangs falling on his forehead with copper highlights. His hazel eyes stared long at the bottle, and she could even see traces of tears in them.
For a while, Rosa was unsure if she wanted to hook her son up with someone as depressed as this person. She pursed her lips and said, "I’m not sure... Why not choose someone else? Huh? Abiagil?"
She glanced to the side only to see an empty stool beside her. Her daughter-in-law had long escaped, rushing over to the young man before anyone would notice her.
Rosa sighed. She had no choice but to follow the young woman.
Meanwhile, Abigail tapped the young man’s table and asked, "Are you Arthur Taylor?"
Despite looking all cool and calm on the surface, she was giggling and jumping with excitement in her heart.
Oh my God! She created this beautiful and handsome character! The moment he raised his eyes and glanced at her in confusion, her heart melted into a pool of water.
God, he was so adorable! No wonder the male lead fell for him back in high school without even realizing!
Just look at his eyes! He was indeed the main character of her novel!
