Abigail hid in her room all day long and didn’t dare to get out of there. The major reason behind this was Nicholas who deliberately stayed home.

Of course, she didn’t know earlier and only thought he would go later. But when she really went outside right after talking to Owen, she saw Nicholas sitting on the couch with his laptop on his lap.

Now that she realised it, it was clear she wouldn’t be able to return to her original world. This fact made her accept her current reality faster than ever as she pulled open her laptop and sat comfortably on the bed with snacks all around her.

No matter what, today she won’t be opening the door to her room. In any case, she didn’t want to face Nicholas who had another round of jumping rabbits in her chest.

Thus, she deliberately hid in her room and refused to come out no matter what. It wasn’t until late night when the doorknob finally turned and it opened softly from the other side. Sound of footsteps echoed inside the room as a familiar man entered with a tray full of several dishes, but Abigail still wasn’t aware.

How could she be aware? She had long leaned against the headboard and slept soundly. Even the laptop on her lap shut down a long time ago as its battery ran out. Several empty snacks packets were placed all around the bed as crumps of foodstuffs spread on her lips.

Nicholas stared and stared for a while until he couldn’t. Thus, he placed the tray down and leaned over, licking away all the food crumbs from her lips.

This action seemed to have awakened her up. Seeing her woken up, Nicholas didn’t hesitate and directly kissed on her lips, sucking into her bottom lips softly, nibbling there as if it were some kind of sweet dessert of his liking.

Abigail, who had merely felt someone licking her lips, was woken up to being kissed like this. She was so shocked that her entire body froze just like that. She couldn’t react and her mind stopped processing anything.

She blankly stared up ahead with her widened eyes, which made Nicholas smile into the kiss as he kissed even more. Since she wasn’t reacting, wasn’t it best to do everything he wanted right then and here?

For some reason, he wanted to take a step further. Even he didn’t know what was up with him these days as he felt constantly aroused at the sight of her. But whatever, he didn’t care either way since he had already decided to keep her by his side.
