The Villainess Married The Evil CEO-Chapter 127: Close Your Eyes~
Abigail glared at him. She would never admit that she actually feared losing because she had lost terribly once. She would never admit the same mistake ever again!
Thus, she shook her head and continued her lie. "I really don’t play chess."
"Oh." Asher knew she was lying for some reason. Thus, he crossed his arms on his chest and said, "You’re afraid."
"Am not!"
"Then prove it to me by playing with me."
"Okay, you know what?" Abigail was so angry that he directly poked on the play button on the screen and turned toward the man, raising her chin arrogantly, "I suddenly know how to play. I’ll show you how you actually win!"
Hah, look at her, still pretending.
Asher snorted and got into the game. He chose black ones while she went for the white ones. They played silently and seriously, continuing to take their time choosing an option. By the time the game was about to come to an end, it was already an hour into it.
Abigail, who had initiated the game because of anger, was full of anxiety. How could she not? She was actually losing the game all over again! Damn it!
Why.... Just why did she have to be so moody when it comes to arguing with someone?! If not for her anger, she would have never agreed to play this damned game, not even in her dreams!
No matter how much money she was offered, she wouldn’t have ever played this game!
Asher paused before he could do the checkmate and raised his head, asking, "What will the winners get?"
Abigail shook her head. "I don’t know..."
"How about I can fulfill one wish if I win?"
Abigail wasn’t even listening as she waved her hand, staring at the screen without blinking twice. She wanted to see if her king could still be saved from imminent death, but it turns out, her chess board was already deeper into the mess, so much so that she had no chance of winning at all!
Ugh, this is so frustrating!
Just why did she have to willingly jump into the pit herself? She could have avoided this entire scene!
She gritted her teeth and said, "This is all because of you! I didn’t want to play in the first place!"
"You’re afraid that I’ll win." Asher calmly selected the chess piece he wanted to move and said, "And your fear is about to prove right."
Then he did a checkmate.
Abigail continued to stare. At first, she had thought she still had a few moves, but who knew this guy would checkmate in a single step?!
Was he a powerhouse of the chess world or something?!
She looked at him with a shocked expression on her face as she exclaimed. "You cheated!"
Asher chuckled and leaned closer, making the woman back away slightly, hitting the wall behind her.
"This app doesn’t allow cheating, my dear cousin-in-law." He tucked a strand of her hair behind her ears and gently patted her cheek. "Now, are you ready to have some more fun?"
"No more fun!" Abigail glared at him as she pushed him away slightly, or at least she tried her best. Of course, he didn’t budge and only sat there, smiling.
She rolled her eyes and said, "What’s gotten into you?"
Even Asher didn’t know what happened to him. He had long been able to control himself, but today, he wasn’t able to. He almost felt like he was going insane thinking he wanted to lock this woman up all for himself.
Maybe he should just go and get himself checked or something.
He shook off that thought and instead focused on something else. His reward.
"Now, you’re gonna fulfill one wish of mine."
"No way!"
"So you’re really going to refuse?" Asher raised his eyebrows as he smirked. "Don’t tell me you’re really afraid I’ll do something atrocious."
Abigail crossed her arms on her chest and tried her best to keep herself calm and composed. But her heartbeat was making her go crazy. She licked her lips and finally relented, asking, "What do you want?"
"Close your eyes."
"What?"
"Just do it." Asher suddenly felt like he wanted to sneak another thing from her while he was at it.
He had already gone overboard. It wouldn’t hurt to make use of this situation even further, right?
Thus, he gestured to her to close her eyes.
Abigail looked at the man hesitantly and finally, reluctantly, closed her eyes. She really wished that he wouldn’t do something courageous or else, she would kick right on his stomach! Not lying, she would really do it if needed!
But the man was still polite. He leaned in and put his lips on her cheek, kissing that soft, supple skin.
When he backed away, he was satisfied to see her cheeks blushing. Her eyes fluttered as if about to open.
Thus, Asher opened the door from the inside and instantly pushed the door, getting out of there as soon as possible.
Since he had done something atrocious, wasn’t it a better choice to just run away? En. He would do just that!
Thus, the moment Abigail opened her eyes, she noticed an empty seat beside her, and the lid of the capsule was opened. Asher, the damned crazy man who managed to sneak a benefit from her and make her heart jump like a rabbit had gone mad, actually had the audacity to run away!
Wow, she had to give him applause!
Abigail held the handle of the capsule so firmly that she accidentally broke it by force. Not that she was powerful, but the traces of anger that had emerged from the depths of her heart gave her hands power all of a sudden.
"That damned guy." Abigail glared at the place where he was sitting not too long ago and finally stood up. The waiter came hurriedly and took away all the food while Abigail silently walked out of the cabin and headed toward her room.
Asher had disappeared to God knows where while Nicholas finally finished his conference. When he didn’t notice no one around, a frown crossed his forehead.
Where are these two?
As he was thinking about it, Abigail finally entered the room, all huffing and puffing.
Nicholas saw her alone and released the breath he was holding. He got up and said, "What do you want to eat?"
"Eat?!" Abigail glared at him and put her hand on her waist. "Don’t think I don’t know what you men are like. Under the illusion of feeding me, you guys always misuse our trust and trick us, innocent girls! Nope! I’m not gonna fall into your tricks!"
