The Villainess Married The Evil CEO-Chapter 101: Why Aren’t They Speaking?!
Asher frowned as he stood up and said, "So fast?"
Her backstage script reading only lasted ten minutes. Abigail was ready so soon?
Abigail nodded and looked at the judges with a practiced mild smile on her face, for which she had to use all of her energy. She suppressed her excited nature, which would have been difficult if she hadn’t eaten her medicines today.
It would have been easier if she hadn’t been a bipolar patient in the first place, but her habit of acting in front of the mirror did a better job at hiding her true emotions in the nick of time.
Actually, Abigail didn’t have to worry too much about the role. The moment she read it, she realized this was a role meant for her and her alone!
The villain she would play was similar to the character she had created after her own name in her novel! How could she not know how to play such a two-faced woman?! 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝒆𝒘𝙚𝓫𝙣𝙤𝒗𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢
The villain of this novel was named Lily Thomas, a young woman with a big birthmark on her face. She was bullied since her childhood and developed an introverted personality.
But then, she ended up in an accident where she was about to be killed by someone. Suddenly, her second personality was born right then and there, which was a total opposite of herself. In the end, by the time Lily woke up, she found that her hands were covered with blood and there was a stone in her hand, which had traces of both blood, bones, and torn skin pieces stuck to it.
Then she noticed the two men who were going to rape her then kill her, and the villain was even more shocked seeing their smashed bodies. No one could even identify their faces anymore.
She vomited right there and trembled out of fear. Then she took the stone and ran away knowing if she wanted to be saved from going to jail, she shouldn’t leave any traces behind. Despite being frightened to death, her brain worked miraculously.
This was the exact scene Abigail had to play: first part was of a lady frightened to death and trembling seeing people towering over her body. And then, the next second, she would have to play the villain part at the same time.
Of course, she wouldn’t have to go so far ahead to lift up a stone and kill those imaginary people. That was for the shooting. But she would just have to play the dialogues.
Since Abigail hadn’t been given the script a day before, she could take the paper and read the dialogues with appropriate emotions.
Of course, the judges didn’t have any expectations from her. That’s why, the female judge waved her hand at the lady and said, "Go ahead."
She looked at the stage with a bored expression on her face, thinking this one would fail once again but she would have to give her this role since it was the investor’s decision.
She couldn’t do anything about it. Thus, she gritted her teeth and watched another failed attempt. For all she knew, she thought it would be worse than before.
Thus, Abigail nodded and looked at the paper. She frowned and tried putting herself in the eyes of the character. This was what she would regularly do when creating characters for her own novel.
The most she had to invest her time in was Nicholas honestly because she just couldn’t be satisfied no matter how many times she acted him. Thus, she tried and tried and tried, and when she finally succeeded, she wrote him in the novel, only to kill him after three Chapters.
What a waste of talent!
So as soon as she looked at the paper, she instantly knew what she had to do.
Thus, her facial expressions changed rapidly, looking frightened and pale as she opened her mouth and spoke tremblingly to the imaginary criminals in front of her eyes, "Do-Don’t come closer.... I’m telling you, I’ll call the police! Don’t... Get away!!!"
She fell to the ground as she looked too frightened to speak.
Back on the judges side, everyone was stunned, including Asher. His surprise knew no bounds. Even the female judge looked shocked as she watched with a keen expression on her face. Other judges sitting beside her also changed their expressions and continued to look.
Abigail’s acting aas spot on.
Sure, there were women before her who performed as well as this lady. They might be even better, but Abigail was the girl they had to hire for this role, and she surpassed their expressions.
But one test was still remaining, and that was how she would change from being frightened to a killer in the blink of an eye. This was an important transition, which almost everyone failed.
Abigail continued speaking in a frightened tone as she slid her body back until it hit a pillar on the side of the stage. She curled up and looked up, saying tremblingly, "Please, get away from me. I-I’ll give you money, everything. No! NO!!!!"
She instantly put her hand in front of her face as if trying to block an attack, but the next moment, her hand suddenly went and grabbed something, as if grabbing someone’s wrist. The expression of her face changed instantly as if it were natural for her.
She looked above at the imaginary people and let out a crazed smile. "You people have the guts to surround me. Do you want to die that bad?"
And then, Abigail stopped playing because that was how much she had to play. She stopped playing and stood up, looking somber and calm, bowing at the judges. "Thank you."
The lady judge, who was actually the author of the novel that was being made into a movie and the director as well, was so shocked that she couldn’t speak a word. She stared at the lady, wondering why the heck did it have to stop.
The young lady that the investor brought worked so well that even she felt that she had finally found the villain of her movie. No, it should be said that the villain came out alive through this young woman!
Abigail was actually anxious, and it took her all her effort to contain her emotions. Sure, she loved acting the part of a crazy woman because she was bipolar herself and was accustomed to changing her emotions every second. So she didn’t find it difficult to transform her emotions so suddenly.
To her, she did better than she had imagined maybe because it was a villain whom she was playing. But did the judges not like it?! Why aren’t they speaking?!
