Chapter 329: Chapter 329: Shocking! Christina Lynch and Renee Jennings Brawl in the Street

Renee Jennings’s hair was a mess, and her voice was sharp and hoarse, as if she had gone completely insane.

"Have you lost your mind, Renee Jennings?!" Christina Lynch threw up a hand to block her attack. He suddenly hissed in pain, swiped a hand across his face, and sure enough, it came away bloody.

Renee Jennings had struck without holding back; the chain of her handbag had left a bleeding gash across Christina Lynch’s face.

Christina Lynch felt a searing pain on his cheek. Staring at the blood on his hand, he almost fainted. ’Even though I see myself as a serious actor, my face is still my livelihood. Renee Jennings actually went and ruined my face!’

Christina Lynch couldn’t take it anymore. He shoved Renee Jennings violently to the ground, pointed a finger at her, and roared, "You lunatic! You shrew! You psycho! I think you’ve really lost it, Renee Jennings!"

Renee Jennings lay on the ground, crying pitifully. But right now, her tear-streaked, beautiful face stirred no feelings of pity in Christina Lynch whatsoever.

"Christina Lynch, you’re not even human..." Renee Jennings sobbed wretchedly. "No wonder you didn’t want to try for a baby with me, always saying we should wait and wait. It turns out some tramp has caught your eye! I’ve put up with so much crap for you, and in the end, you treat me like this too! You disgusting man! You filthy piece of trash!"

Clutching his face, Christina Lynch grimaced in pain. He had just unlocked his phone to call his private doctor when Renee Jennings lunged, tackling him to the ground and pummeling him. With a CRACK, the phone hit the pavement and shattered into pieces.

Christina Lynch’s eyes blazed with fury. Grabbing Renee Jennings by the collar, he slapped her hard across the face. "You psychotic bitch! Do you have no shame? Everyone is watching!"

"You think I’m a bitch?" Renee Jennings snarled, her hair flying everywhere. "You’re the one who drove me to this! Did you ever think about ’shame’ when you were out messing around with other women?!"

The two of them started brawling, all pretense of dignity gone. With her long, sharp, exquisitely manicured nails, Renee Jennings held her own against Christina Lynch.

The driver was completely unable to stop them, but he didn’t dare call the police, terrified of damaging the celebrity couple’s image and escalating the scandal.

Naomi Kenway folded her arms and watched the drama unfold. The same couple that had been flaunting their love for each other just moments ago was now tearing each other apart.

’So theatrical. This dog-eat-dog couple really is a match made in heaven.’

Victor Vance watched it all unfold with a calm expression, merely holding Nathan Lynch’s hand without a word. After the divorce, the Lynch family’s affairs had nothing to do with her. Recalling how despicably Christina Lynch had tried to keep her from seeing Mona, she looked at his scratched-up face and felt a flicker of grim satisfaction.

Naomi Kenway glanced over, a smirk playing on her lips. "Dog-eat-dog. Pretty entertaining, isn’t it?"

Victor Vance nodded.

The farce finally ended five minutes later.

With flashing lights and wailing sirens, a police car arrived. Christina Lynch and Renee Jennings were both hauled off to the station for mediation.

Nathan Lynch’s teacher approached, phone in hand, her expression worried. "They just suddenly started fighting. No amount of reasoning could stop them."

Apparently, she was the one who had called the police.

The surrounding crowd was buzzing with discussion. Some even pulled out their phones to take photos, with most of the lenses aimed at Christina Lynch. He was, after all, a massively famous, award-winning actor.

As Christina Lynch was led into the police car, he shot a glare at Naomi Kenway and Victor Vance, clearly blaming them for the whole mess. With two bloody gashes on his face, his eyes were full of malice. "I’m not letting you get away with this!"

Naomi Kenway met his gaze without flinching. "Bring it on, if you have the guts. Do you really think I’m the type to be intimidated?"

Despite their high emotions, Christina Lynch and Renee Jennings were loaded into the squad car.

Nathan Lynch kept his arms around Victor Vance, his clear, dark eyes showing nothing but indifference. The sight of Christina Lynch being taken away didn’t seem to cause the slightest ripple within him.

"Mona, how about Mommy takes you home now?"

Nathan Lynch’s eyes lit up, and he nodded. 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝒆𝒘𝙚𝓫𝙣𝙤𝒗𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢

Victor Vance turned to thank Naomi Kenway. "Nina, thank you so, so much for that. If you hadn’t been here, I really don’t know what I would have done..."

"Don’t mention it. But..." Naomi Kenway sighed. "I’m worried that the first thing Christina Lynch will do when he gets home is take Mona back. They say even the most vicious tiger won’t eat its own cubs, but I’m afraid he’ll take his anger out on Mona."

Victor Vance said, "I’ve thought of that, too. I can send Mona to his grandmother’s." A bitter smile touched Victor Vance’s lips as she thought of the feisty old woman. "Mona’s grandmother and I may not have the best relationship, but she truly loves him. I’m sure she won’t let him be wronged."

Nathan Lynch wrapped his arms around Victor Vance’s waist, his eyes welling up with tears as he asked, "Mommy, can’t we stay together forever? Are you going to leave Mona behind again?"

Victor Vance’s own eyes misted over. She stroked Nathan Lynch’s hair tenderly. "Mommy doesn’t want to. I can’t bear to leave you..."

Naomi Kenway comforted them from the side. "As long as the truth about what happened all those years ago comes out, you’ll be able to be together again soon."

Hearing this, Victor Vance nodded with conviction, a determined fire reigniting in her eyes. "That’s right. We’ll be reunited soon."

Nathan Lynch could hear in his mother’s voice that she wasn’t going to abandon him, and his gloomy expression gave way to a cheerful one.

Naomi Kenway and Victor Vance took the two boys to a restaurant for dinner. They chatted and laughed while watching the children play nearby, creating a scene of immense warmth.

Ian Shaw and Nathan Lynch were playing together with a small toy that came as a bonus with the restaurant’s annual membership. Nathan Lynch was the first to speak.

"Ian, I’m sorry..."

Ian looked up, his big, clear eyes gazing at him in confusion.

"I shouldn’t have called you stupid," Nathan Lynch said, his eyes filled with guilt. "You’re not stupid at all, Ian. You’re the smartest kid in the world! I’m the stupid one. I shouldn’t have listened to my evil stepmom and been so judgmental. Can you forgive me?"

Naomi Kenway and Victor Vance exchanged a knowing glance, smiling as they watched the two boys interact.

A sweet smile spread across Ian Shaw’s cherubic little face. He said, "Mona isn’t stupid! We’re both the smartest kids in the world!"

Nathan Lynch beamed with surprised delight. "Really? You forgive me?"

Ian Shaw held out the toy to share with Nathan Lynch. "We’re good friends, and good friends don’t stay mad at each other."

Watching this scene, Naomi Kenway’s eyes filled with emotion, and a soft laugh escaped her lips.

Victor Vance dabbed at her eyes with a handkerchief. "Over the past year, I’ve watched Mona lose one playmate after another, until eventually, he was all alone. It’s so wonderful that he has a friend in Ian."

Naomi Kenway looked at her, speaking as much to herself as to her friend. "Everything is going to get better."
