The Undercover Heir is Actually Tycoon's Secret Girlfriend-Chapter 358 - 280_3
Ying Fan looked bewildered.
Had she really succeeded in paying?!
Ying Fan: "You..."
Rong Zhi didn’t spare him a glance, took the blue diamond, and exited the room, leaving him behind, his face sullen as he stared daggers at her back, like a slick and venomous snake.
-
Leaving the auction, Rong Zhi parted ways with Shen Junze and the others at the entrance.
She drove back to Tingshan Villa, where the lights were still on. Pushing open the door to her room, she saw the man just getting dressed.
The pure white shirt was spotless, black casual trousers wrapped around his impossibly long legs, slightly damp hair hung loosely over his elegant and aloof brows, his delicately shaped peach blossom eyes curving, charming and amorous.
"Zai Zai?" He paused upon seeing the girl and then spoke softly. 𝒻𝘳ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝒷𝘯ℴ𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝑐ℴ𝑚
Rong Zhi nodded and handed over the bag in her hand.
Bai Su took it and opened it.
The blue diamond they had seen in the photo was instantly revealed before their eyes.
He raised an eyebrow, asking a question that it seemed many young couples would have the girl ask: "How much did it cost?"
Rong Zhi unbuttoned her shirt as she replied, "Guess."
Bai Su clicked his tongue lightly, deciding not to ponder this question. He flipped through his phone to find Old Fan, sent over his request, and soon received a reply.
Fan Xia: [!!!Bluebloods! Is this the Bluebloods that finally appeared and was taken by a billionaire for fifteen billion?!]
Bai Su’s long lashes fluttered, and his elegantly boned hand picked up the blue diamond.
Fifteen billion wasn’t much to him, but the fact that she was willing to spend fifteen billion on the Bluebloods for him mattered most.
"Zai Zai," he swallowed, peach blossom eyes rippling with layers of shimmering light, and after a moment of silence, he smiled and said, "Does this count as splurging for me?"
Rong Zhi lowered her eyes, the dark fox-like eyes curving gently, and raised her hand to lightly touch the end of the man’s brow, her tone teasing: "Yes, for the beauty."
Bai Su’s gaze fixed on her face, unable to hold back laughter, feeling joyous to his core.
Rong Zhi let him laugh, carrying her clothes for a wash. By the time she came out, he had regained his composure and warmed the bed.
Before sleeping, Bai Su rested his chin on her shoulder, his warm breath bathing her earlobe as he spoke.
"The Ying Family sent an invitation, Ying Hengyu’s matchmaking banquet. Do you want to go?"
Rong Zhi frowned, "He’s back?"
"Called back by Ying Fan."
So it wasn’t voluntary.
Ying Hengyu had recently gained fame in the racing world. How could he return to the country at such a crucial moment?
After a brief thought, she knew what it was about.
"A Hongmen banquet?"
Bai Su nuzzled her shoulder, his tone light, "Probably?"
"Then let’s go."
Since they’ve gone through such lengths to bring Ying Hengyu into the mix, if she, the protagonist, doesn’t show up, how will the play go on?
Bai Su was completely confident in her ability and said nothing more, holding her close as he drifted to sleep.
The next morning, Bai Su instructed Jiang Gujun to invite a designer; he wanted the blue diamond made into a necklace.
After handling all of this, he looked up at the time, seeing it was half-past nine.
Jiang Gujun walked in from outside, calling to him: "Mr. Su, it’s time to go."
Just then, Rong Zhi came downstairs, rubbing her hair. Hearing this, she lowered her gaze, exchanging a glance with Bai Su from across the room.
She blinked, knowing full well where he was going, yet asked expressionlessly, "Where are you headed?"
"To meet someone." Bai Su bent down to pick up his shoes, walked over to her in a few steps and placed them at her feet, then held her ankle to help her put them on, carefully instructing her: "Rest a bit after breakfast."
"Okay. Actually, I have something I want to..."
Before she could finish saying the three words she wanted to tell him, Bai Su cupped her face in his hands, bringing his eyes closer, the dark pupils gradually dilating, clearly reflecting her visage:
"Let’s discuss it when I get back."
He seriously spoke, word by word.
Rong Zhi was momentarily stunned, then nodded.
Hopefully, he wouldn’t be in a bad mood when he returned.
Watching Bai Su and Jiang Gujun leave, she was left alone. After hurriedly finishing breakfast, she took her laptop to work.
She was wearing Bai Su’s shirt, which was loose on him and ended up draping loosely on her.
Casually pushing back her flowing hair, one shoulder was left bare, revealing a slender, exquisite collarbone that cast a faint shadow.
As she stood up, the hem rose slightly, exposing two straight, long legs.
Hearing the door open, she turned her head back.
"?"
Back already?
At the door, a young girl holding the door open, her eyes gradually widening, mouth forming an O shape, exclaimed, "Senior Sister?!"
