the two-faced Adopted Girl Who Melted CEO's Ice-Cold Heart-Chapter 967: Is Moving into the Shaw Family Now Bad for Your Reputation?
Seeing the man’s cold gaze, sharp as a blade, Crystal Landon squinted and smiled, "Zero points."
Richard Shaw slightly narrowed his eyes, zero points?
Crystal leaned in closer, batting her pretty eyes, and said, "So, you’ll tutor me, right?"
She wore a pleated skirt that ended above her knees, showing off her long, straight legs, but the man remained indifferent, his handsome face devoid of any expression.
"Eat more walnuts, they boost your brain. Enroll in ten tutoring classes later," Richard Shaw said flatly.
Crystal: "..."
Since Crystal was going to stay at the Shaw Mansion for a while, after dinner, the grandmother asked Richard Shaw to drive to the Landon Family to pick up some of Crystal’s things. 𝑓𝑟ℯ𝘦𝓌𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝑐ℴ𝓂
The man was driving a modified Hummer, looking incredibly cool.
"Did you modify this yourself?" Crystal, seeing it, almost wanted to give it a kiss. This car could be driven like a tank; it’s not suitable for racing, but it’s quite crash-resistant. This one alone could flip a bunch of cars.
"Get in," Richard Shaw said in a deep voice, not believing for a second that a girl who spends her days fighting and clubbing could wait for a modified car.
When they returned to the Landon Family’s villa, the front gate was wide open, lights ablaze inside, and the voice of Mrs. Landon came from within, "Sister Liu, take the eldest Miss’s things to her room first."
Pearl Landon’s gentle voice followed, "No need to move the silver suitcase, it’s full of gifts I brought back."
"That’s right, you want to blend into the Imperial City’s social circle this time, bringing more gifts is a good idea. Pearl, you’re always so thoughtful," Mrs. Landon said, smiling with satisfaction.
Richard Shaw parked the car, looked at the beautiful young girl, and asked, "Will your parents come to the Shaw Mansion after returning today?"
"Yes." Crystal unbuckled her seatbelt, jumped out of the car, waved to Richard Shaw, and said, "I have a lot of stuff, come help me pack."
The man, known in the Military District as a cold-blooded Asura, was momentarily stunned but then nodded steadily, entering the house with her.
Inside, with Mr. and Mrs. Landon and Pearl back, the place was cluttered, with things piled chaotically in the living room, yet to be sorted.
Everyone was surprised to see Crystal and Richard Shaw walk in, and the atmosphere became awkward.
The man, wearing military boots, his figure as sharp and upright as a mountain peak, stood at the door. His handsome, cold face exuded an iron-blooded aura, seemingly blocking out all light.
"Uncle, Aunt, I’m Richard Shaw," the man introduced, his voice deep.
The living room immediately became bustling, with Mr. and Mrs. Landon welcoming Richard Shaw with smiles. Even Pearl stepped up, greeting him warmly, leaving Crystal unnoticed.
Crystal was used to it, let out a cold laugh, and went upstairs indifferently to pack her luggage.
She took out a 28-inch suitcase and stuffed her ID, passport, bank card, and jewelry box inside, picking out her usual clothes, shoes, bags, and books and test papers. She left the cosmetics and wigs behind, needing two suitcases to pack everything.
As she busily packed, Clark Landon knocked on the door, paused, and asked, "Where are you going?"
"To the Shaw Family."
"Moving in now, isn’t it a bit early? It won’t be good for your reputation," Clark Landon’s gentle and handsome face was full of disapproval. Although the two were engaged, Crystal’s reputation was already not great, moving in before marriage, who knows what the circle would say.
