the two-faced Adopted Girl Who Melted CEO's Ice-Cold Heart-Chapter 876: Once You Leave, There’s No Turning Back for You Two
Nathan Leclair suffered a minor injury, squeezed through the crowd, and coldly said, "I’ll take you to the hospital, or if you keep talking nonsense, you might as well die here now."
He leaned over to Ignatius Leclair’s ear and said, "Delphine was taken away by Griffith Squire. I exchanged a few moves with him but couldn’t stop him."
At the incident, Nathan instinctively tried to pull Delphine to hide, but Griffith attacked him head-on, knocked him to the ground, and he was stomped on several times, almost dying. As a result, Nathan’s tone was extremely poor, and his sharp eyes coldly looked at Bessie Leclair.
No one in the room was seriously injured, yet she, along with Jocelyn Yeager, ended up both wounded, clinging tightly to Ignatius Leclair. Such behavior, surely she’s in league with Griffith, right? 𝓯𝙧𝓮𝓮𝒘𝓮𝙗𝙣𝒐𝒗𝒆𝓵.𝓬𝓸𝒎
Ignatius Leclair’s face was stern, his deep, ink-like eyes flashed with hostility. He stood up and heavily said, "Nathan, take Bessie to the hospital."
After speaking, the man led people straight out, giving cold orders while walking, "Seal off the entire Nanyang Hotel; not even a mosquito should fly out."
While the chaos ensued at Nanyang Hotel, Delphine had already gotten into a car, immersed in the joy of her reunion with Leah Squire.
"Dial that number on the phone, let it ring three times, then hang up, and dispose of the phone." Leah winked at her and smiled, "I hope our small trick can delay Ignatius Leclair."
Delphine threw the phone out of the car and asked, "Why did you suddenly return? If Richard Shaw finds out you’re in Nanyang, the city might go on full lockdown."
"Why bother mentioning that man?" Leah snorted lightly and said, "I specifically came back to pick you up; I’m not comfortable with Griffith handling things. His straightforward nature isn’t afraid of going head-to-head, but he’s wary of those like Ignatius Leclair who excel at scheming."
Thinking about this departure, Delphine feared that man would be thoroughly enraged, feeling complex and downcast, she said, "This time, I don’t know if I’ll drag you all down; Ignatius Leclair is a man who bears grudges."
"Once we’re out of Nanyang, even if his skills are top-notch, catching us won’t be easy." Leah said nonchalantly, "Look at Richard Shaw, even with heavy troops, catching me isn’t simple."
Seeing her usual free and easy demeanor, Delphine felt somewhat reassured, whispering, "We could be considered sisters in adversity."
With that, the two exchanged glances and burst into laughter.
Who doesn’t have some heart-wrenching past, who hasn’t been hurt by a man, who hasn’t been cornered by life? Wipe away the tears, and keep moving forward.
"We’ll take the sea route, once out of port, we’ll board a private jet; even if Ignatius Leclair seals the sea, he can’t block the air routes." Leah answered a call, her expression turning serious, and whispered, "Ignatius Leclair has discovered your disappearance, let’s switch vehicles immediately and proceed to the next location."
The two switched cars twice en route and arrived at the port.
Upon arrival, Griffith Squire was just there with Nicholas Carter, the young boy asleep in his arms. Delphine hurriedly reached out to take Nicholas into her arms, excitedly planting a kiss on his forehead.
"Mommy." Nicholas rubbed his eyes, extended his small hands, wrapped around Delphine’s neck, and continued to sleep, cuddled warmly in her embrace.
"Sir, Ignatius Leclair’s people have pursued us."
Griffith Squire nodded, looked at Delphine, his extraordinarily handsome face devoid of its usual mischief, seriously asked, "Are you sure? Leaving this time means it will be hard to turn back between the two of you."
