The SSS Ranked Villain's Return-Chapter 70: Club Sorting Day
"Pack this too—you might need it," his father, Roskaris, stated before putting a few more potion vials into a dimensional pocket ring and handing it to Neraxis as he departed.
"Isn’t this too much?" Neraxis voiced out, checking the contents of the ring.
There were hundreds of flasks, thousands of vials, and even more debit cards scattered all around—each one more fancy-looking than the next.
"Eh, don’t worry about it," Roskaris said with a shrug. "We have a lot to spare, and, if needed, you can always buy more."

Suddenly, he leaned in and whispered, "Also... can you tell me where you got those weird potions that make Sophia look... You know?"
"..." Neraxis was speechless, but nonetheless answered, "Emma’s potions... It’s a small shop in the nearby mall."
"Excellent!" Roskaris shouted, startling the passing neighbors before looking back at Neraxis with a sly grin. "I’ll be making a kind donation to that place. Good find, Neraxis—I’ll raise your allowance."
Even more money...? Well, sure. He nodded in response and said his goodbyes, heading straight into the black limousine.
The ride to the academy was swift, though his father’s interruption had made him a tad late.
After quickly thanking his butler, Neraxis stepped out of the limousine and jogged into the academy, passing students who seemed to be running at a similar pace.
His current goal was to get to his classroom peacefully, since in just a few moments, all hell would break loose.
Likely the only thing that hadn’t changed even in the new timeline.
[Is there going to be some sort of activity going on?] Evangeline questioned with curiosity.
Kind of... The instructors will arrive at 10:00 a.m. on the dot and hand out club application forms. The funny thing is, each club only has a limited number of slots available, he explained before continuing.
Often, there are 10 slots available, and since there are 500 students this year, each with clashing interests... you can imagine the chaos that will ensue.
She let out a giggle. [Really? But you don’t have to worry about that, do you?]
Nope. Seems like Liora has already taken care of everything. But still, I want to join some fun club, Neraxis stated, earning a whistle from her in response.
[I see you are finally stepping up with a better mentality. Have any clubs in mind?]

Three. Cooking Club, Hunting Club, and maybe the Travel Club. Out of the three, the one I’m leaning toward the most is the Travel Club, he answered while keeping track of the clock.
There were only two minutes remaining, and soon, he’d have to make a run for it.
[Travel Club?] Evangeline questioned with a bit of suspicion. [There was something that happened with that club in the past, wasn’t there?]
However, he merely shook his head in response. I don’t know. All of these choices are ones I would have never even considered in the past. But now that I have a lot on my plate, some relaxing time should be in order.
Just as his words fell, Magnus walked through the classroom door, the club forms in hand.
He immediately started handing them out to each student present, leaving Neraxis surprised.
But before he could voice his surprise, Magnus spoke. "Special class benefit—1 minute early."
As his words hung in the air, Neraxis soon composed himself and began looking through all the available clubs.
The Cooking Club had 16 slots, the Hunting Club had 7, and lastly... the Travel Club had 2.
Without a moment of hesitation, Neraxis jotted down the Travel Club and gave his signature before swiftly dashing out of the classroom.
His classmates were right behind him, and from the corner of his eye, he could even see one who had also chosen the Travel Club.
Therefore, Neraxis sped up his pace, practically gliding through the academy halls when, all of a sudden, the bell rang.
That meant that in just a few seconds, the competition would start arriving.
It was a pity the clubs were on the other end of the academy—quite literally on the other side of the building from where his classroom was—so running there without breaking the flooring or anything else was a bit difficult.
But soon, Neraxis found himself in front of the club, watching as people dashed right toward it too.
However, he paid no heed to them and entered the clubroom, swiftly finding the person in charge and walking up to them.
It was a blue-haired girl wearing a kind smile, and she seemed just a tad older than him.
Since he knew the procedure well, he didn’t bother making small talk, merely placing the club form on the table before her. Immediately, she stamped it.
"Welcome to the club," she stated, and suddenly, the doors practically blasted open, with students rushing in.
Neraxis sighed, quickly took his stamped club form, and put it in his dimensional storage ring.
Yet as he did so, he saw someone he didn’t expect to see.
Aurelia was practically climbing over the bodies of others, even using mild magic to send them flying into walls, until eventually, she was the only one standing—aside from Neraxis.
"Here!" she exclaimed, slapping the club form down onto the desk before the recruiter. "Let me join, please!"
Just like with Neraxis—but more dramatically—the recruiter stamped the club form and said, "Welcome to the club."
"YEAAAAAH!" Aurelia suddenly cheered, ignoring the strange looks of the disappointed students around her.
That was until her gaze finally landed on Neraxis.
"Uh... Are you here to apply for the club too?" she asked as her anxiety set in.
Neraxis let out a chuckle before taking out his stamped club form and showing it to her.
"Woah!" Aurelia exclaimed, her eyes widening. "You joined too!?"
"Yep," he replied, when all of a sudden, a tinge of repulsive mana emanated from the recruiter, and the students who hadn’t managed to join the club were quickly flung out of the clubroom.
As that happened, she finally stood up and introduced herself. "My name’s Emily, and I’m the head of the Travel Club."
"Neraxis," he responded with his own name before noticing that Aurelia wasn’t doing the same.
However, he soon realized why.
"Emily, didn’t you say this would be a bit easier to get into?" Aurelia asked in a frustrated tone before walking up to her.
But as she did so, Emily stretched out her hands and soon embraced Aurelia in a hug, startling her.
"You should watch how you talk to your elders, sis," Emily stated with a grin, ruffling Aurelia’s hair.
That was until they froze, slowly turning toward the still-standing Neraxis, who was simply looking around the clubroom.
It was fairly spacious, but not like it mattered in the end, since it was a Travel Club, after all—they would hardly be here in the first place.
At the same time, he was trying to avoid the awkwardness between these two girls, since, apparently, they were sisters.
He could kind of see the resemblance, but in the end, that’s not what mattered, since he still had some errands to run.
"Could I just get the schedule?" Neraxis asked in a kind tone, but all of a sudden, Emily walked up to him.
"Aren’t you that boy from the rift?" She narrowed her eyes. "The one Aurelia was talking about so much?"
"Emily!" Aurelia ran up to her sister and immediately put her in a headlock, leaving the surprised Neraxis standing by.
These two are polar opposites...
