The Soft-Hearted Wife of Mr. Big Shot-Chapter 165: Going Out for Hot Pot
"No other relationship?"
Sarah Grant’s gaze swept over Ian Wright; this man dressed flamboyantly, styled flamboyantly—clearly no good person.
Holly Sawyer mixing with such people probably wasn’t a good person either, thought Sarah.
Her hostility toward Holly Sawyer was particularly obvious, and her dislike was especially apparent.
Probably when you don’t like someone, everything about them looks unpleasant, always thinking the worst.
"You seem to have that big problem. Whether there’s any relation or not doesn’t matter to you, why ask so clearly?"
Ian Wright shut the car door together with Holly Sawyer and spoke discontentedly.
He was also good at observing, and could clearly see Sarah Grant’s hostility toward Holly Sawyer.
Sarah Grant: "I wasn’t talking to you."
"Let’s go shopping."
Stella Jacobs kept pulling on Sarah Grant, persuading her to stop talking, but Sarah casually ignored, continuing to speak her mind.
Sarah Grant refused: "No."
She, a young lady from the Grant Family, was accustomed to adoration, but now someone was snapping at her, making her feel extremely wronged.
Holly Sawyer just sat in the car, eyes slightly closed.
Getting snapped at by Ian Wright, Sarah Grant felt quite unlucky.
"Apologize to me; I don’t like what you said."
Sarah Grant stood in front of Ian Wright, speaking with an arrogant tone.
"Ha, amusing, you think you deserve it?"
Ian Wright looked Sarah Grant up and down.
"Let’s go."
Holly Sawyer rolled down the car window, urging impatiently.
Listening to arguments was quite irritating, she disliked it, and also didn’t like arguing with others.
Upon hearing Holly Sawyer’s words, Ian Wright ignored Sarah Grant, directly getting into the car and driving away.
Sarah Grant was still talking as Ian Wright treated her words like passing wind.
"Sarah, Holly Sawyer is nice, don’t target her."
Watching the car leave, Stella Jacobs spoke to Sarah Grant.
"But you’ve liked my brother for so long; what’s her reason for cutting in halfway?" 𝒇𝓻𝓮𝓮𝙬𝙚𝒃𝒏𝓸𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝓬𝓸𝒎
Naturally, Sarah Grant was displeased.
"Love is never about who comes first, nor about ’you like me, so I must like you.’"
Stella Jacobs shook her head, saying love is never clearly defined.
Holly Sawyer arrived at The Pantheon and received a warm welcome; everyone at headquarters came over.
Holly Sawyer was a bit speechless; she’d only been gone a few months, and now they were all so enthusiastic?
When she used to come frequently, they hadn’t been this welcoming.
Holly Sawyer mingled around, chatted idly for a while, handled some things, then left.
"Oh, why are you here?"
Ian Wright was escorting Holly Sawyer out and had just reached the main entrance when he saw a familiar car, Leo Grant standing beside it.
Holly Sawyer rolled down the car window, looking at Leo Grant.
"Missed you."
Leo Grant raised his eyes, overflowing with tenderness when his gaze met Holly Sawyer’s.
How long has it been since they last met?
From the driver’s seat, Ian Wright was speechless, feeling like he’d been fed a mouthful of their love.
Those lovey-dovey moments might be too much to handle?
"You should head back."
Holly Sawyer said to Ian Wright, then got out of the car.
Ian Wright: "..."
Ugh.
"Cold?"
Leo Grant pulled Holly Sawyer into his arms, holding her tightly while softly inquiring.
Holly Sawyer: "A bit."
"How come you thought about coming to pick me up?"
She remembered Leo Grant was busy and hadn’t expected him to come to fetch her.
"I missed you."
Leo Grant directly kissed Holly Sawyer’s lips, it was a lingering attachment.
Holly Sawyer: "..."
Caught off guard and inexplicably.
"Really missed you."
A moment later, Leo Grant let go of Holly Sawyer, gazing affectionately into her eyes.
"I feel you’re addicted."
Holly Sawyer rolled her eyes at Leo Grant, slowly remarking.
He seemed addicted to kissing her.
"It’s because it’s you that I’m addicted."
Leo Grant adjusted Holly Sawyer’s scarf, his voice gentle and indulgent.
Because it was Holly Sawyer, he was addicted. The young lady had an enchanting charm, especially easy to become addicted to.
Holly Sawyer: "..."
She suddenly didn’t feel like talking.
"How about hot pot?"
Leo Grant ruffled Holly Sawyer’s hair, looking at her gently, speaking softly.
The cold weather pairs well with hot pot.
"Yes."
In the face of food, Holly Sawyer certainly wouldn’t refuse.
She could throw caution to the wind for good food, agreeing definitively.
"Do you have a particular favorite?"
Leo Grant asked; Holly Sawyer was very familiar with Arkenfall and knew its culinary scene inside out, so she would surely know.
"There’s a place in Eastgate that’s pretty amazing."
Holly Sawyer almost blurted out without needing to think.
There was more than one great place; following the principle of proximity, this one was the nearest to Eastgate.
"Alright, you lead the way."
Leo Grant nodded.
Perhaps due to their excellent taste, the restaurant was crowded with barely any empty seats.
"Maybe a different place?"
Leo Grant glanced around the restaurant and turned to Holly Sawyer.
With almost no empty seats, Leo Grant could see the food was good.
"No, I can use face recognition."
Holly Sawyer blinked, pulling Leo Grant’s hand as they walked inside.
Leo Grant looked at Holly Sawyer in puzzlement.
"Miss."
Holly Sawyer came right next to the counter, blinking at the cashier, her voice soft.
The cashier gleamed at the sight of Holly Sawyer, "It’s been a long time since you came here."
"The owner is not here today; little Mushroom will find you a spot."
The cashier greeted and went to find Holly Sawyer a place.
Due to the hot pot restaurant’s long-standing popularity, there were compartments set for frequent visitors.
Holly Sawyer used to come often, getting familiar with the owner, who then reserved a spot for her; even when crowded, Holly Sawyer could go there.
"Holly has a boyfriend now, very handsome, and you two look perfect together."
The cashier praised, playfully winking at Holly Sawyer.
In just a few months, the young lady had gotten herself a boyfriend.
Nice.
"Thank you."
Holly Sawyer smiled, her eyes filled with joy.
Holly Sawyer led Leo Grant into the compartment, her steps light.
"Seems the young lady is a regular."
Leo Grant laughed looking at Holly Sawyer; this foodie seems well-acquainted with these folks.
The compartment was small but spacious enough for two.
"That’s because The Pantheon headquarters is nearby."
Holly Sawyer said truthfully; sometimes she stayed at The Pantheon, often running over here.
Most times she came alone; visiting so frequently, and with her big appetite, the owner noticed her. Gradually, they became acquainted.
"So the young lady used to be busy?"
Leo Grant gazed at Holly Sawyer, looking at her with a hint of sympathy.
