Ignoring Felicia's provocative words, the leading elder gave his orders.

"We'll go with the usual, ah and Bea… make sure she suffers", he said as he pointed at Felicia who had that playful smile on her pretty face, one that the three remaining elders had started to hate from the bottom of their hearts.

The female peak stage elder nodded to then fly towards Felicia, only after she had put some distance between herself and the other three elders, did she use spirit energy.

"Heavy Gray Charge", with a practically robotic voice, the peak stage female elder exploded in gray spirit energy which had a blue tone mixed into it, to then flash from where she was, appearing in front of Felicia a second later.

Surprisingly, or maybe not since she is also a main path body cultivator like Felicia, she was aiming to punch the playful mother with her right fist which was covered by a dark gray fingerless glove and a reinforced knuckle area, as well as… intent.

"Booom!", naturally Felicia wasn't one to back away from a head on physical confrontation, and so her black metallic gauntlet right fist, collided with the one of the opponent, resulting in a loud thunder-like shockwave and an energy explosion which ended in both parties being sent flying backwards.

Felicia frowned at the sight of Bea only being forced around a dozen of meters while she was sent backwards for around a total of thirty meters, but the one that was actually surprised was the middle stage elder.

'I know it was only the initial exchange, but dis she really only get pushed back so little by clashing with Bea head on, fucking monster!', inwardly screamed the leading elder.

Not only is Bea a peak stage Sea of Knowledge realm body path cultivator, but her attribute is toxic metallic one, giving her a tough body that also poisoned those that crossed fists with her.

Normally, the leading elder only orders her to participate once the enemy has been cornered, to finish the fight, but since the enemy had some ways to confuse them with soul techniques, he changed the strategy, because… mind affecting techniques didn't work with Bea.

And so far, there hasn't been any instance in which she couldn't utterly crush an opponent with a realm lower than hers when fighting head on and this includes some opponents from high ranked Stellar Systems that once aimed for the leading elder's life, which is why he couldn't believe the previous result.

That being said, it's not like the enemy was able to directly ignore the attacks from the peak stage female elder, unlike what happened to the other three who were basically toyed with.

"Hssss!", seeing the gray-blue dust that stuck to her fist and corroded the layer of spirit energy that covered her gauntlet, Felicia softly snorted as she shook her hand, shooing the corrosive dust away.

And while both the playful mother and Bea had their hands trembling due to the impact, the peak stage elder didn't show any reaction to it and directly charged towards Felicia without a second of hesitation, which made Felicia's eyes glow in a dark fierce light.

"Humph, fine let's see who blinks first", she said as she turned into a black flash to meet Bea head on once again.

"Booom!", those two turned into a dark and gray flashes that continuously collided on the air, producing thunderous shockwaves and energy explosions every time they met.

"Damn it, I can't believe she is actually not getting pushed back by Bea, what the hell did she use to temper her body!", exclaimed the peak stage male elder in disbelief.

"That explains why our attacks didn't do anything to her…", added the early stage elder as he felt a chill running down his back, but then the leading elder shook his head at them.

"No, they are not equal, that woman is using more spirit energy to reinforce her body in order to not be corroded by Bea's metallic poison, in other words in a direct confrontation, Bea should still come out ahead".

'That being said, this is while the enemy is on a lower realm, if not then, I wouldn't dare to affirm that Bea will win damn Lord of the Twin Sword Valley, what kind of resources did he give that woman to cultivate with, perhaps her daughter has much more weight on that bastard's heart than what I thought… that's good, it means her death will be an even bigger stab to his heart!', he inwardly added.

Unlike energy cultivators that require resources of high quality, talent and meditation to advance, the body path is much simpler, in fact it is the favorite path of rogue cultivators, for the sole reason that resources aren't the most important thing on it, heck not even talent is what matters the most there.

Of course, with higher ranked tempering solutions and talent, the way to the top will be smoother, but there is an old saying that states that "As long as one is willing to endure pain, one can become a Heavenly Realm body cultivator".

And that's because, even with low ranked tempering resources, if one chooses the path of damaging oneself to the limit, then a body cultivator with a low background can even equal those from high ranked Stellar Systems.

After all the base of the body path is tempering the body and that can be done with things that will normally only be harmful… like poison for example, and Bea has used a mix of both ways, in other words both relatively high ranked resources or at least the best ones that the leading elder could get his hands on, as someone with a noble status within Zoldia and also dangerously harmful things like poison.

Now, thanks to her poisonous metal attribute, her life might not have been in danger, but the pain of the tempering surely shot through the roof, so it wouldn't be a lie to say that the vast majority would have preferred to die rather than going through it, which is why the leading elder had a hard time believing that someone that doesn't even come from a high ranked Stellar System and doesn't have either a metal or earth attribute can clash head on with her, since he knows what she has been tempering her body with.

In fact, he has "helped" her according to the needs of her manual, but that's beside the point.

"Don't thing on anything useless, prepare yourselves to help Bea finish the enemy off", said the leading elder as he positioned himself behind the two remaining elders to then place his palms on their backs, making the two elders place their hands together and close their eyes as they gathered spirit energy.

Back at the fight, Felicia who received Bea's left fist with her own, felt a slight difference on the impact, the enemy's fist actually seemed heavier and tougher than before, apparently her manual made it do that the more damage she received the stronger her metal spirit energy got, it was a really good combination for a body cultivator.

"Mm?", with a frowned expression on her pretty face, Felicia used her right hand to claw at the peak stage female elder's incoming right fist.

"Clang!", the sounds of metal colliding as well as sparks flying all over the place, was the resulted of Felicia's clawed gauntlet scratching Bea's arm all the way from the backside of her hand to her elbow.

It was shallow, but Felicia managed to rip her skin, forcing some blood out from the peak stage female elder.

"I might use Ghost Gauntlets but unlike Mira, I'm not a "pure" fist intent user~", said the playful mother.

It's true, Mira is a fist intent user because her claws are innately as sharp as spirit weapons, growing alongside her, since she is a spirit beast's descendant, so she can focus purely in increasing her fist's strength instead, something similar applies to Alice and Lilia, though neither of them is a fist intent user.

Felicia uses a variation of it, since she does get an impact increasing effect from the intent she developed, but it would be more accurate to call her a "claw" intent user instead, amusingly enough her case is similar to Tia, who is a spear intent user but uses a glaive variation as it goes better with her fighting style.

But then, as Felicia kind of expected, the wounds on Bea's arm produced a gray steam before they closed at a visible speed.

'That's some high vitality, but the energy firm on it… isn't the same as the one her spirit energy has', thought Felicia to then be returned to the real world by the peak stage female elder exploding in spirit energy of a gray-blue color.

"Poison Meteor Strike", with an emotion-lacking voice, Bea's right fist was cladded in both spirit energy and intent as she punched in Felicia's direction.

"Dark Shredder!", in response Felicia used her right clawed gauntlet to scratch the air in front of her, releasing five dark slashing lights that clashed with the stream of metal spirit energy that was shot by the enemy.

"Boooom!", both attacks met in the air, exploding the next second to then engulf the vicinity in an energy cloud, while both Felicia and Bea were forced backwards out of the energy cloud.

"Corrosive Maelstrom!", however accompanied by three voices that shouted in unison, a giant orange liquid sphere engulfed the two of them, this was a rather rare to see spectacle, a combined technique created by the early and peak stage elders alongside the leading elder, combining their poisonous spirit energies.

But it wasn't as simple as just manifesting a huge amount of poison, the thing started rotating at an insane speed, which as one would expect generated an insane amount of pressure inside of it, as if it aimed at turning those trapped by it into mincemeat.

"Hssss!", in fact, both Felicia and Bea who were being forcefully dragged by the poison rotating at high speed, had their bodies release red, yellow and orange fumes as the poison corroded their spirit energies.

And in case you wonder, the peak stage female elder not only didn't seem to be in any sort of panic by being trapped into the ultimate technique they team could use, but she even looked used to it.

"Booom!", Bea's body exploded in gray-blue spirit energy which turned into a solid metallic layer that covered her body from head to toe.

"Toxic Metal Armor", by taking advantage of the fact that she was receiving high continuous damage, which increased her strength, Bea aimed to finish Felicia off with a single attack in her strongest state, at the same time the speed at which the poison rotated further accelerated to prevent Felicia from being able to dodge.

"Booom!", a gray-blue explosion of spirit energy dyed the inside of the orange poison whirlpool of the former's color, which made the leading elder who was sweating as he used his orange dominant poison to forcefully coordinate the yellow and red poisons of the other two elders, smirk, he couldn't feel the presence of the enemy anymore and Bea was still there, so the result of the battle was finally decided.

'Good job Bea, I'll release the technique….', but just as the elder sent a message to his companion, he received a "warning" from her.

Unfortunately, it was a second too late, the leading elder suddenly had his right body lean frontwards, which forced him to open his eyes just to realize that the early-stage elder… was missing.

"Aghhhhh!", but it wasn't for too long, since a lung-tearing scream coming from a familiar direction, helped the leading elder find where his missing teammate was.

The orange poison whirlpool suddenly lost its integrity and exploded, turning into an orange tsunami, which dragged away two familiar figures, one was Bea who was perfectly fine thought she was also dragged away by the poison tsunami.

And the other was… the mangled corpse of the early-stage elder, which had all the bones on his body crushed while fractions of it tore through the flesh which also had missing chunks, that were ripped apart by the sharp currents that lingered inside of the whirlpool, it was a horrible way of dying.

But right now, the leading elder didn't spare more than a gaze to the corpse of his teammate, because he had something much more important in mind which was how the hell did, he end up there and where was the enemy, since Bea wasn't returning it meant that she hadn't fulfilled the orders she received from him.

'Don't tell me…' the leading elder had a bad premonition which became true the next second when a playful voice came from his left.

"Mm, that surely was one aggressive technique, not differentiating between friend or foe~" playfully said Felicia who had appeared next to the peak stage male elder who was floating at the left of the leading elder.

"Overwhelming Slash!", speaking of which, the leading elder unsheathed his spirit weapon, which was a sword and added both spirit energy and his early stage second level intent to then slash at Felicia, but to his horror, his attack… instead landed on his teammate, cutting his head in half above the nose.

"Y-Young master", the peak stage male elder managed to say before he was killed by his own boss, the worst part is that the black haired woman wasn't even touching the elder, nor did she push him on the way of his attack, his sword "mysteriously" seemed to change its trajectory against his wish, which made the leading elder feel his heart sink, as he believed he was under the influence of the soul technique of the enemy.

"Having a piece of trash as one's leader surely is tragic, also you aren't worthy of using the word "overwhelming" alongside a sword, especially not in "his" presence", said Felicia, in a rare serious voice, naturally she referred to Aster, whose swordsmanship consists in overwhelming the enemy.

Though his intent focus in control, it's not to control the enemy but control as in to reign over his own strength, Aster had to overwhelm his own power in order to be able to wield it and not be killed by it, so for Felicia when it came to swordsmanship, she couldn't imagine a better example of dominance than him.

And how does she know all this, it's thanks to her energy constitution, since she can "read" the spirit energy of others and obtain certain information from it, an ability that Tia has yet to develop.

"Heavy Gray Charge", feeling the life of the leading elder be in danger, Bea flashed from where she was, appearing in front of Felicia the next second, with her fists cladded in intent and spirit energy, but this time the playful mother didn't form a fist to meet her attack head on like usual, but instead pointed her right palm at her.

"Dark Attraction", with a couple of words, Bea stopped midair, then her chest area inflated before something broke out of it, it was a dark orange worm which exploded the moment it made contact with the outside.

"And here I thought I had found someone that had the guts to use what others would consider inhumane torture in order to become stronger, what a shame, you were but a mere imitation", said the playful mother with a bored voice to then add to herself.

'Not like I need to resort to that anymore thanks to him, tough … it's still "challenging" to endure tempering sessions with the new solution, in a different way I guess'.

"Aghhhhhhhh!", the previously emotionless Bea, screamed so hard that blood flowed out of her mouth, to then lose all the light on her eyes, her body fell from the sky, she was as dead as possible.

In case you wonder what happened, everything would be explained if we take a peek as the thoughts of the leading elder who was the sole remaining survivor.

'No way, how did she let alone find the "Emotion Devouring Heart Parasite" but also separated it from Bea without killing her in the process!!!', he screamed in his heart.

The reason as to why Bea was able to endure the torturous poison tempering process that her manual required and the reason behind the leading elder being able to use "Orange Dominance Poison" was one and the same.

That worm which lived in Bea's body, made it so that she could basically not feel anything, which explained her lack of emotions, and it was owned by the leading elder, which had complete control over her due to it, and that was the requirement for the manual he used to cultivate.

The previous sounded like something horrible for Bea, especially because the leading elder practically beat her up every time she needed to temper her body, despite she being technically his dao companion in other words his lover.

But as a fellow woman Felicia had zero empathy towards her, because that parasite had to be completely willingly accepted into one's heart for the relationship to be stablished, otherwise it would be considered an "evil" cultivation manual, and couldn't be openly used unless one wanted to be pursued by the righteous sects, which is also why very few people cultivate the same manual at the leading elder.

Naturally, it was impossible for the worm to be separated once it was accepted, at least without dying, but then Bea didn't die due to she losing the worm, no, she died because of the hole in her chest, which is also why she recovered the capacity to feel emotions which resulted in that horrible scream being forced out of her.

Anyway, the leading elder didn't care about that, the moment he heard Bea screaming, he turned around and fled for dear life, since it shouldn't have been possible for her to feel pain and yet she did, he didn't even want to imagine what the enemy would do to him.

'Damn, what the hell is that bitch, did the Lord of the Twin Sword Valley do something to her, like the way Bea was "improved" by accepting the Emotion Devouring Heart Parasite…', the train of thought of the leading elder was stopped in cold alongside his body.

"I can't move!", black portals appeared all over the area surrounding the leading elder, somehow restraining him in place.

'I'm not dying here!', screamed the elder in his heart, a pendant which was hanging from his neck lit up in a purple light and next, a barrier of spirit energy was covering him, while a sphere of purple liquid enveloped him, that was the life-saving treasure his sister gave him.

It created a barrier that could endure an attack below the half heavenly realm, and then a second barrier made of a poison that would kill anyone below the half heavenly realm with enough exposition to it, though it had a time limit, it was perfect for him to escape.

"Just try and attack me bitch you will…", the leading elder who advanced towards the black portals, since he could tell, they were connected to the enemy, meaning that exposing the poison to them will affect her, suddenly had his eyes contract like needles.

He looked downwards just to see an arm coming out of his chest.

"H-How did you bypass the poisonous barrier and the defensive barrier…", where his last words, before his eyes rolled backwards, he died without knowing how it happened.
