The Revenge of the Reborn Supreme Sovereign-Chapter 139 - 136: Ignorance, Foolishness!
BOOM! CRACK!
Fueled by Qin Fan’s profound Inner Strength, his punch shattered the Dragon Head Crutch in the silver-haired elder’s hands, breaking it in two. The other half of the crutch was knocked from his grasp, and the force of the blow sent him sliding back over two meters, his feet carving two conspicuous furrows in the ground.
"Want more?" Qin Fan taunted, a corner of his mouth hooked in a smirk as he shook his head disdainfully.
"The Training Spirit Clan has never provoked any enemies. Why do you strike at us?" the silver-haired elder demanded, his face a mask of unprecedented shock. He gritted his teeth as he stared at Qin Fan.
"Strike? What strike? I’m merely borrowing this place for a moment," Qin Fan snorted.
"Do you have any idea what this place means to the Training Spirit Clan? The ancestral teachings forbid anyone but our own from setting foot in this place! Trespassers will be executed!" Having witnessed Qin Fan’s power, the silver-haired elder no longer dared to act rashly, roaring in anger instead.
"Ha! Do you people from the Training Spirit Clan really think you can create Spiritual Beasts just by relying on this Heaven and Earth Essence?" Qin Fan laughed scornfully, ignoring the elder’s pathetic threat. "That you can make those creatures that have refined Fifth-Rank Crystal Cores undergo Spirit Awakening and join the ranks of Spiritual Beasts?"
Without waiting for a reply, he shouted again, "Ignorant! Foolish!"
"You... what did you say!?"
Ignorant? Foolish? He, a man well over a hundred years old, was being mocked like this by a mere youth? If not for Qin Fan’s genuinely intimidating strength, he would have torn him to shreds in his humiliating rage.
"I said you’re ignorant, and you’re foolish!" Qin Fan mocked dismissively. "You think that with your clumsy Training Spirit Secret Technique and the Heaven and Earth Essence here, you can just mutate those beasts, have them refine Crystal Cores, and then expect them to smoothly cross the threshold into becoming Spiritual Beasts? If it were that easy, the title of Spiritual Beast would be worthless!"
As he spoke, Qin Fan expanded his Divine Sense once more, yet he still couldn’t detect the aura of any Spiritual Beasts. He couldn’t help but shake his head. "What an ignorant bunch. You’re fools! To think you can awaken your Spiritual Wisdom and advance into a Spiritual Beast without undergoing a world-shaking tribulation is a fool’s dream! And look at the things you’re training! Chickens, ducks, dogs, rabbits? You think *these* can become Spiritual Beasts? You’re insulting your own Training Spirit Clan!"
"Damn you! How dare you speak of the Training Spirit Clan like that!" The middle-aged man could no longer contain himself. Spurred by Qin Fan’s provocations, he leaped forward, roaring with fury.
"You are not qualified to speak to me. Get lost!" Qin Fan glanced at him coldly.
With a flick of his wrist, he sent the Hemp Vine Whip lashing forward. The middle-aged man was instantly thrown several meters away, and he sprayed a mouthful of blood as he landed.
The silver-haired elder froze, Qin Fan’s words echoing in his mind. He was so stunned that he didn’t even notice the middle-aged man being sent flying and vomiting blood.
He had considered Qin Fan’s points before, but he’d never had a breakthrough. The secret techniques passed down by the ancestors of the Training Spirit Clan were what they were. Suddenly, in a moment of clarity, his snow-white eyebrows twitched. His eyes widened as he blurted out, "Could it be... you know the arcane art of how Spiritual Beasts are created?"
But as soon as the words left his mouth, several strange whistles suddenly pierced the air of the cave. The eager look on the elder’s face was instantly replaced by panic. "Don’t!" he shouted.
But it was too late. At the sound of the four Elders’ strange whistling, the entire cave seemed to vibrate. Dust billowed up as hundreds of fierce beasts, each having refined a Crystal Core within its body, began stampeding madly toward Qin Fan.
At that moment, Qin Fan’s expression turned utterly grim. Is slaughter the only way of conquest in this world? Very well! If that is what you wish, then I shall grant it!
Provoked time and again, Qin Fan’s patience was completely exhausted. He bellowed, "You’re courting death!"
As the words fell, he was already airborne. In a plunging descent, he extended his palm and slammed it straight down on the head of the nearest Elder.
"Die!" His word and his palm arrived at the same time.
In less than the span of a breath, the Elder had no time to react. A sharp SLAP resounded as Qin Fan’s palm connected with his head. 𝒻𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝘯𝘰𝑣ℯ𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝘮
The Elder’s eyes bulged, his pupils contracting to pinpricks. He didn’t fall immediately. Instead, blood began to gurgle and pour from all seven of his orifices. Then, with his eyes wide open in death, he toppled over.
Seven Orifices Bleeding—killed with a single palm strike.
Having taken a life with one blow, Qin Fan was far from finished. His five fingers clenched into a fist. Twisting his body with seemingly impossible flexibility through a full 360-degree rotation, he unleashed a punch at another Elder.
"You brat, die!" Before the Elder could recover from the shock of Qin Fan killing one of his own, the ferocious punch was upon him. A fire of infinite hatred and rage erupted within him.
Facing Qin Fan’s incoming fist, he didn’t dodge. Instead, he channeled all of his power into his own clenched fist and met the attack head-on.
CRACKLE! SNAP!
In that instantaneous collision, a sickening series of cracks, like popping soybeans, suddenly erupted. The Elder’s face twisted into a ferocious mask of pain. He let out a shrill scream as his entire fist was reduced to a pulp of mangled flesh. White bone fragments protruded from the gory mess, and his entire arm was grotesquely deformed by the impact.
His frail body was thrown back in an arc, not stopping until it crashed violently into an old tree. How could a mortal body withstand such a fierce impact? Compounded by the damage to his spirit, he sprayed a mouthful of blood before falling heavily to the ground, twitching and gasping for his last breaths.
One palm, one fist. One dead, one dying.
This was Qin Fan. And he had yet to even use his Martial Arts.
Witnessing this heaven-defying, utterly unreasonable display of power, the two remaining Elders fled in terror. They scrambled to hide behind the silver-haired elder, their bodies trembling and their eyes filled with utter dread as they stared at Qin Fan.
Just then, the horde of beasts finally reached him. Incited by the strange whistles, the beasts had completely lost control. They no longer felt the fear Qin Fan had instilled in them earlier. Their Beastly Nature shone through their bloodthirsty eyes without reservation.
"Old man, are you going to handle this, or shall I?" Qin Fan asked, his back to the onrushing horde.
"No, no, no! Don’t kill them! Please, don’t kill them!" the silver-haired elder shuddered, shouting in terror.
In his desperation, his spirit-damaged body leaped forward. His fingers wove into a hand seal. Trembling, he brought his hands to his mouth and began to blow through the gap between them.
