The triplets were walking toward their room.

Aether and Cierra were sitting in a gazebo, both of them gazing at the moon.

"There’s a fairy tale about a moon princess named Kaguya."

Cierra looked at him as he continued speaking.

"The moon princess was found as a tiny baby inside a glowing bamboo stalk. She was taken in and raised by an old bamboo cutter and his wife. She then grew to be the most beautiful woman, attracting many men."

Cierra remained silent and looked into his eyes. They were so gentle.

"To separate family and love... that’s so sad." Cierra said in a sorrowful tone.

The triplets looked toward the source and saw a maid not too far from them, hiding in the bushes.

It was Cierra’s maid, Lina.

"What are you doing here?" Highbro asked Lina in a whisper.

"I’m ensuring the young lady’s well-being." Lina replied.

"Or more like spying on her love life." Midbro said.

"Then what are you three doing?"

"Uh....we are.... Let’s focus on the story." The triplets turned their faces toward Aether and Cierra awkwardly.

Meanwhile,

Aether and Cierra were both looking at each other.

They were breathing heavily. Both could hear their heartbeats.

"Your eyes are so beautiful that I feel like I’m drowning in them." Aether said, leaning closer.

Cierra stood still, breathing heavily. Her face was bright red, but she still kept her gaze locked on Aether’s eyes.

"Cierra, I’m also as stupid as that man who loved Princess Kaguya but couldn’t understand her feelings or the reason for giving him the immortality potion."

Aether’s eyes were teary as he kept speaking

The moon hung in the sky, and a soft breeze was blowing. It was the best moment for both of them.

Cierra then pulled back and looked at him with kind eyes.

Aether, on the other hand, was dazed, touching his cheek.

"I want to grow old with you."

Suddenly, she stood up and started running toward the mansion in embarrassment.

"Haaah" A soft sigh escaped his mouth.

"She is truly a kind soul." Aether said, touching his cheek. A soft smile glowed on his face.

In his past life, he was too focused on destiny and walking the path his brother had paved. Thus, he never really acted kindly toward Cierra. He felt it was a waste of time.

Even at the age of 40, they were still engaged, without any chemistry between them.

But Cierra didn’t complain, she stood beside Aether and supported him in times of need.
