The Red Dragon Just Wants To Do As It Pleases-Chapter 484 - 287: The Female Homosexual Ruined the Dragon_2
David and his father were at first taken aback, then broke into joyful grins.
It was like someone had brought a pillow to them as they dozed off.
As they stepped out of the Tokamak Fortress, they indeed saw a group of familiar old dragons.
For example, Patricio, who had been beguiled by that effeminate male Silver Dragon, Sebriz; the brothers Tralton and Ezekiel; and Lefilia, whose gaze carried a hint of melancholy.
Among them were also new faces, such as one with purple scales?
Could this be the offspring of a Blue Dragon and a Red Dragon?
However, as soon as David spotted another petite figure, he quickly cast aside his curiosity.
"Silvia! What brings you here?" David said, looking at the slender young dragon before him, first in surprise, then with an open and warm welcome.
It was none other than the young Blue Dragon he had danced with on that stormy night, the granddaughter of the old dragon, Patrice. 𝑓𝘳𝑒𝑒𝓌𝘦𝘣𝘯ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝑚
Even after hearing about David’s true identity from her father, she still found it hard to believe when she saw him in person...
Her spouse, acquired through a serendipitous mistake, was actually a Red Dragon!
And not just any Red Dragon, but the one renowned across the Continent as the Second Crimson Catastrophe.
With mixed feelings, she nuzzled her cheek against David, who had run up to her. Then, half-expectant and half-nervous, she lifted her head to ask,
"Of course, my father sent us here, but should I call you Karatrulka, or Lord David Uthos?"
But David proceeded to twine his tail around her anxiously stiff one, whispering near her fin-like ear,
"You are the spouse I chose on our stormy night. Both names are mine, so you can call me anything you like, even master or daddy if you so wish."
"Dad.... daddy...? You... you, you! I’m not talking to you anymore, I’m going to tell my father..." Overwhelmed by embarrassment, Silvia’s head seemed to overheat, her red ears hot enough to cook fish on.
Instinctively wanting to flee out of shyness, but with her tail already ensnared by David’s, she moved awkwardly on the sandy ground, like a cat on a leash doing a moonwalk.
"You... you let go of me..." Being the center of attention among the other dragons made Silvia feel even more helpless; she was so ashamed she wanted to bury her head in the sand.
This display of affection immediately assured the arriving Blue Dragons. David Uthos, the Red Dragon, truly still had a fondness for old connections.
Yet, it elicited a flicker of discontent from the likes of Dackels, a Silver Dragon guard who had followed Alicia, feeling it was unworthy of their own Silver Dragon princess.
This Red Dragon really is a charmer everywhere he goes.
Although Dackels said nothing, Erickson, the Gold Dragon at his side, easily read his thoughts. "His kind, the Red Dragons, are the head of the Chromatic Evil Dragons," Erickson remarked. "Their customs are very different from us Silver Dragons."
"I know."
"Good that you do. Just don’t go finding a Chromatic Dragon mate for yourself." That would surely bring a lot of trouble.
After all, not every dragon could be like David Uthos.
"How... how could that be possible!" Dackels quickly denied, his gaze also swiftly shifting away from the various alluring female Chromatic Dragons near the fortress.
Meanwhile, David learned from Silvia and the others the purpose of their visit, which coincidentally matched his needs.
It turned out that old Patrice felt his talents were limited and that he would likely never master the legendary spell "Thunder Guard." Yet, he couldn’t bring himself to give up entirely.
After mulling it over back at the Dragon Nest, he decided to send some of the Blue Dragon prodigies from his clan to learn from David.
Even if they didn’t master the legendary spell, staying in the fortress, infused with the power of thunder, would surely benefit the growth of any Blue Dragon immensely.
Now that they had latched onto such a powerful Red Dragon patron, they had to hold on tight!
The rise of the Olivalyres clan was surely just around the corner.
After hearing their needs, David was certainly not shy about his response but turned to several young Blue Dragons led by Patricio and said,
"I agree, but on one condition."
Patricio looked taken aback. "Didn’t the clan leader say that all dragons could freeload, uh, learn without any barriers?"
David shot a glance at the foolish dragon.
With such intellect, he shouldn’t even dream of learning a legendary spell. Even managing a wiring job would be a mystery for him.
He then patted his father, Attilicia, on the shoulder with his tail. "That’s for self-study," he said. "What I offer here is arcane knowledge taught personally by the founder of this school. How could that possibly be the same, huh?"
Arrogance.
Attilicia was initially stunned, then, as if on cue, raised her head high, sporting an air of ’you may ignore me today, but you won’t be able to reach me tomorrow,’ her head held so high her horns nearly touched her neck.
"Your command," Patricio hastily bowed his head.
"I need you, once your training is complete, to coordinate with us in laying mines and pushing the lines for the Thunder Dragon Nest defenses as we advance on the New World front."
David repeated his idea. The Blue Dragons stared in horror.
"Ah? Are you saying we’re to be cannon fodder on the front lines?"
"What do you mean, ’cannon fodder’? Are you grunts? That’s a job for the human empire! You are noble battlefield logistics engineers. Rest assured, for the greater good, we will protect you with all our might when it matters most."
The group of Blue Dragons suddenly retracted their heads, looking at each other but remaining silent.
That means full-scale war with the High Elves! And we’d have to operate under the ’Dragon Mad Lock’...
Such high-risk work... It’s hardly worth it!
David, however, pretended not to notice and surveyed the group of Blue Dragons. "So, who of you is willing to take charge of this project?"
All the Blue Dragons immediately took a step back, revealing the purple one among them.
"Good, then it’s you. Commendable bravery! Rest assured, I will cultivate you properly. Now, what’s your name?" David immediately pointed to the purple dragon with his tail, a satisfied look on his face.
"...Brule," the purple dragon answered, somewhat dumbfounded.
He had just been staring at the Tokamak device behind David and zoned out for a moment. When he snapped back to reality—damn it! It seemed his ’brothers’ had sold him out!
David was quite pleased. "Good name! Coincidentally, our strategic plan is called the ’New Continent Mine-Laying Plan.’ From today on, you are the Chief Engineer of Dragon Nest Defense for this project."
"Ah..." Watching the Red Dragon’s pupils start to narrow, Brule steeled his heart. It was just about breaking ground on Elven territory! This could be an opportunity to make a name for himself in the annals of dragon heritage. I’ll do it!
He immediately raised his head high and declared, "Thank you, Lord David Uthos, for your favor and cultivation. I, Brule, will surely live up to your expectations."
"Very good. The name of our warrior Brule will surely be immortalized. I’m leaving this task in your hands." Saying so, David patted Brule on the shoulder and prepared to leave with his Blue Dragon spouse for a brief, sweet reunion.
"Ah, this..." Although Brule didn’t quite understand the imported idioms, he felt an eerie sense of unease.
He immediately turned his head and, smiling, looked towards those ’comrades’ who had ’sold him out.’
Now that he, Brule, was the Chief Dragon Engineer, did these scoundrels think they could escape? Hm?
Patricio and the other Blue Dragons understood the meaning in his eyes and could only offer sheepish grins.
On the other side, David hadn’t gotten far when a voice called out, "David Uthos!"
Turning around, David saw Lefilia, who had been silent until now, approaching with a look of deep resentment. "Hmm? What is it?"
"Tania... no, Tania... where is she?"
"...Went to Dragon Island for further study," David answered truthfully.
"Did she say when she’ll be back?" Lefilia asked.
"No."
"I understand... thank you." Lefilia immediately turned away dejectedly and left.
"Is she... going to be alright?" Silvia looked sympathetically at the departing figure.
"How could she be alright? She was emotionally manipulated and then abandoned by another female dragon," David sneered.
It should be noted that Blue Dragons are among the few Chromatic Dragons that tend to practice monogamy, a bond often confirmed during the Stormy Night.
With the revelation of David and Tania’s sibling status, one can only imagine the kind of strange looks and attention Lefilia would receive in the Dragon Nest.
Damn it, don’t tell me I’ll have to pick up the pieces for my sister? That would be so messed up!
Really... Same-sex relationships are the death of dragons!
